BAMM!!

BAMM!!

BAMM!!!

As the noise faded, the soldiers narrowed their eyes, trying to take in the gruesome scene before them.

Just moments earlier, Rara had chosen to unshackle the chains binding Prince Coi's wrists and ankles.

Before Prince Coi could even savor his brief freedom, Rara activated her magic, raising her hand from a few meters away. An invisible force seized him, lifting him into the air before mercilessly slamming him against the floor and walls over and over again.

The soldiers' knees quiver when they witness this. They had never seen this kind of torture method before.

Alas, forget about torturing. Rara looks like she wants to kill Prince Coi.

"How's it feel? You're the prince, and I'm the 'abomination,' yet here I am, stomping all over you like it's nothing."

A chill ran down Assistant Bear's spine as he realized just how terrifying Rara truly was.

What he saw just now was just too ruthless! No human can withstand her blow!

He was pretty sure that Prince Coi's bone was no longer intact, and there was no way that he could walk on his own two feet anymore. To be precise, his days are numbered.

If Assistant Bear were to be him, he would rather die than withstand this pain and humiliation.

What Assistant Bear said was indeed true. Prince Coi tried several times to get up but failed. There was endless pain searing through his body, and he could only lie on the floor helplessly.

Blood trickled down his wounded body, and he felt as if his spirit was about to separate from his body.

"My...father...would...kill...you..." he looked at Rara with horror in his eyes.

At first, he planned to attack her when she released him from the chains, but he didn't know that she was faster than him.

Rara slammed him against the wall and the floor repeatedly. He felt like a toy being dragged on the cold granite ground.

It was agonizing.

"That would be much better. I haven't had fun in ages. Don't just bring your father—bring your whole country. Let's see who the real trash is." Rara sneered.

"You're...courting...death..." Prince Coi was angry, but he could only listen to her with gritted teeth.

"Oh? I'm curious, though—who's going to reach the gates of hell first? After all, you've got no bones left, you've bled out most of your blood, and the only thing you can still move is that pathetic tongue of yours. I'm not sure how much longer you'll last, but I'll enjoy watching the show."

Prince Coi was overcome with despair upon hearing this. He was still young, yet now he was nothing more than a cripple. Forget becoming a War General—he wasn't even fit to be a prince anymore.

If he returned to Kaca's Kingdom now, he would only bring shame to his family.

"Well, here's the deal. If you give me the answer I want, maybe—just maybe—I'll fix those broken bones of yours," Rara said, a smirk playing on her lips. "But don't get your hopes up too high. It's all up to how entertaining your answers are. So, what's it gonna be?"

Prince Coi gritted his teeth. He was extremely unwilling in his heart. Either tell the truth and have his bones repaired or his disabled body would be sent back as a humiliation to his family.

"Why...would...I trust...you...?"

"I'm not just the Chosen Lady of Haguar's Kingdom, you know. I'm the Chosen Lady for the entire world!" Rara said. "And just so you're clear, Assistant Bear and every soldier standing behind me will be here to back up every word I say. So, think carefully before you speak."

Prince Coi shut his eyes, taking a deep breath before responding, "Agreed..."

Rara nodded before asking, "Why did you attack Haguar's Kingdom?"

Rara waved her hand at Assistant Bear, signaling him to take note. Without hesitation, he took a small notebook from his uniform sleeves and began writing.

"To kill... the... imperial... family..."

Rara's gaze turned cold. "How did you get your hands on that sword?"

He winced, struggling to breathe as he answered, "A friend... gifted it to me..."

She raised an eyebrow. "You're human. How were you able to hold that sword with your bare hands?"

Prince Coi hesitated, his voice weak. "I... had a glove... that resists... magic..."

Rara's lips curled into a sly smile. "A glove, huh?"

Rara glanced at his bare hands, a puzzled expression on her face. "Where is your glove?"

"Prince Ariel... took it..." he replied weakly.

Rara froze, her eyes narrowing as she turned her gaze back to the disabled Prince Coi. "Did you tell him about the glove?"

"No..."

Rara sighed in relief, her posture relaxing ever so slightly.

It would be good if Prince Ariel didn't know about this. If he knew, he would be a suspect himself. After all, he didn't vanish when struck by the sword.

Either he wore a cloth resistant to magic, or... he wasn't human at all.

"The friend you mentioned—was he the one who told you to wear this glove? What's his name?"

Prince Coi felt bitte in his chest. He didn't want to betray his friend, but the thought of living in disgrace was unbearable.

"Yes, I only know...that people...call him...Gideon..."

Rara nodded. "Where is he now?"

Prince Coi gritted his teeth and closed his eyes. "Kaca's Kingdom."

"One last question: did you carry out today's attack on your own, or was it King Sudu's order?"

Prince Coi fell silent for a moment. The order had come from his father, but how could he betray him? He was conflicted.

Rara noticed his hesitation and leaned in, her voice smooth but firm. "If it were you who did this on your own, you'd be imprisoned and forced to work as a slave in Haguar's Kingdom for the rest of your life. But, if it were King Sudu's order... you'd be next in line for the throne."

Assistant Bear was deeply shaken upon hearing this. What in the world was Rara thinking? Did she want to involve herself in someone else's affair? Was she even aware of just how dangerous this could get?

Moreover, Prince Coi's soldiers had killed several of Haguar's soldiers and wounded Prince Ariel.

If he claimed that was his father's order, wouldn't that mean he'd be forgiven just like that?

Prince Coi gritted his teeth, his mind overwhelmed with painful memories—his mother and sister scorned by his father's other wives, his father's cold indifference, never once recognizing or praising him.

His voice shook as he finally confessed, "My father... ordered it..."

Rara nodded in satisfaction. She knelt, extended her palm, and pressed it firmly against Prince Coi's chest. Closing her eyes, she focused, channeling her energy as she began to heal his broken bones, starting with his ribs.

A human who could survive five minutes with broken bones possessed the heart of a true warrior.
