Killing her demon(2)

"If you did not betray her, why is all this happening?" She grabbed her torch, extinguished it, and pressed it against his neck like a weapon.

"I have no freaking idea." He put his arms up in surrender. When she slid a dagger out of his pocket, he nearly turned to face her. "Don't play with that thing, Gina. You have no idea what kind of harm it causes to whoever wields it."

"That's not surprising at all. Something owned by a demon-like you is likely to be just as complicated if not more." She threw the dagger as far from them as she could to make sure he couldn't use it to attack her. "And don't call me Gina. It's disgusting."

"Disgusting? You should be honored."

"Honored to be named after the reason why Ivrasea is going to be destroyed? Pardon me, but I would rather not have anything to do with her or you." She spat out angrily. He was making fun of everything and that made her more furious than she already was.
