"So what? He didn't feel betrayed if he didn't love me either." Kyrah shrugged like it meant nothing.

It was nauseating the more she listened to the goddess.

"I have no idea why you are trying to make me believe love does not exist in the immortal realm but I will not cave. I won't even pretend to believe you for your amusement."

"I will uncover your lies, Kyrah." She promised. "Wait for it."

"I'll be waiting, Delaney. I'll be waiting for a helpless human to teach me a lesson and, what was that? Uncover my lies?" She burst out laughing and stopped when she caught sight of a sliver of Delaney's bracelet.

She impatiently pulled the sleeve of Delaney's dress up in horror. "This bracelet!"

"What's wrong with it?" Delaney immediately covered it up. "On second thought, I don't want to know. You will simply tell me something heatbreaking that will not be necessarily true."
