"Do you have anything else to tell me?" He knew from her exaggerated smile and lost expression that she was revealing everything.

"No. That's all. I should go." She stood despite how dizzy she felt.

"Delaney,"

"I do not wish to witness my husband's death in this realistic shtick you have come up with. It's enough that it haunts me in my dreams."

He couldn't argue with that so he let her go. Even then, he made a mental note to find out what she had seen that she didn't want to share.

Despite having pretended not to know anything, she knew Elifur didn't believe her as much as he wanted her to think he did, so she made a beeline for the small door as soon as she could. He may not have gotten what he wanted but he had a lead and didn't need her as much as he did before.

"For a brave princess, you certainly are scared for your life." He teased, following her at a distance that wouldn't scare her.
