"Is being Hades's mate a good thing?" Marlena asked when they left the mirror. Destrian's reaction made her wonder if his friend would be happy to learn about her mate.

"She will not be pleased about it." He grinned. "On the bright side, it is someone she could meet at midnight any day."

She blinked at how specific that was. He wasn't talking about Hades the legendary underworld demon, was he?

"If I knew we were following a legendary demon, I would have stayed longer." She said.

He glanced at her, suddenly glad she was too scared to stay a second longer.

"We should restore the mirror to avoid any accidents." He said. "It wouldn't be fun if someone entered this cave and accidentally destroyed a fragment of Sianna's memory."

"Okay." She realized she was still clinging onto his arm and quickly let go, her face heating up. Crouching, she carefully picked up a shard. "I don't know how to do it."
