Disaster (1)

The following afternoon, Regina was finally able to enter Marlena's chambers without sneaking in.

Even so, she wasn't entirely pleased with the deal Marlena had made with the mother queen.

"What were you thinking, promising to do everything she wants?" Regina scolded her as she took her measurements.

"I was thinking that I want my mother by my side." Marlena turned around to face her. "We live in the same castle but I barely see you, mother. It bothers me."

"It's only temporary. The king and queen will be back as soon as their negotiations are complete and the mother queen will leave for her palace. You should have endured it for these few days."

Marlena knew this too, but she couldn't shake off her unease. She clung to Regina's arm. "I know, mother. But I had this strange dream last night."

"What dream?"
