Destrian was exhausted when he finally returned to the castle.

"There you are, finally." Delaney cupped his cheeks and kissed them. He lowered his head for his mother to ruffle his hair like she liked to.

"I had the kitchen prepare your favorite foods."

All he wanted to know was, "What's the situation in Yorucia?"

Delaney knew that was what he would be the most curious about, so she had asked around. She led him in as she explained, "The Gretians have withdrawn their troops for now. I think they have come to a compromise with Yorucia. However, this may be temporary and they may return to war if they do not come to a permanent agreement."

The prince hummed in agreement. Knowing Cassius as well as he did, there was only one compromise that they could talk about.
