Arriving back in Macau, the old Kang was surprised to see him with his infant son back to the island within that day. When he told the elderly about the incident, the old man couldn't contain his anger.

"LET ME KILL THEM ALL!" the old Kang shouted.

Watching the old man furiously rant after his granddaughter was incarcerated and attempted kidnapping of his great-grandchild, encouraged him to plan an assassination for the Zhang heiress. When he succumbed to the overwhelming anger and almost killed the woman, he wished his wife did not stop him. For him, the heiress lost her right to live once she tried to harm an innocent child.
