The first Punishment/Promise of Calamity

Standing in front of the dark gates of the underworld, Adon took a deep breath and pushed them open ready for the terrors within

"Uhh...this isn't what it looks like," A skeleton guy said while midway holding his pants as if about to take them off

"um... entrance for Adonymos?" Adon would rather not get into a conversation with this skeleton...especially if he was doing what he thought

"Oh yes, you are on the list..." The skeleton looked at the list with squinted eyes "Good Gaia...what did you do to earn this kind of punishment!?" He yelled incredulously

Adon just shrugged and sat on the small boat that the skeleton was on, as the gates closed They started drifting into the underworld

"This is where they said to drop you off...good luck, you'll need it man" Then the boat drifted off while Adon stood in a clearing of dead people

"Gold?" A spirit said and flashed towards him, They needed gold to ask the boatsmen to get off this side and reincarnate

"I don't have gold...sorry," Adon said and walked through the spirits, His god aura attracted them and several of them followed wondering what he was doing here

A god in the underworld was unusual to say the least, unless it was Thanatos or Hades they didn't see any other gods

Adon kept walking deeper into the far side before finding the entrance of Asphodel... the fields of punishment

"A God isn't supposed to be here," A man said, This man was very familiar and Adon realized why in the next second

"Prometheus?" This was the titan that had joined their side, the last time Adon had seen him he was perfectly fine and searching that realm which appeared out of nowhere

"Hello Adonymos," Prometheus said with a smile before wincing in pain at the giant eagle pecking at his liver

Adon's eyes widened seeing a good guy, being tortured like this... For what reason could this happen to the Most Friendly titan?

"W-What happened to you?" Adon said stepping forward before jumping back as the eagle pecked at him also

"Haha... Zeus punished me for sharing fire... there were these things called humans...they're pretty interesting" Prometheus then screamed in agony as the eagle tore its claws into his chest

'Zeus?... there's no way he would do something like this...would he?'

("What do you mean?...isn't it no different than your punishment... come down it's hard to talk at your current location...") Adon looked around for the voice and found nothing 'What was that?' He thought before turning back to Prometheus

"I'll be back...after I'm done with my punishment I'll get you free" Prometheus smiled at the naive god and nodded

"Have you come for the first punishment?" A man carrying stone palets in his hand said looking down on Adon

"Yes..." Adon said, still uneasy about Prometheus's situation

"Your first punishment is... Hell hounds..." The man said and waved his hand causing several Hell Hounds to spawn in the area

Adon quickly pulled out [Calamity Saber] to fight these dogs, the thing was, he already knew that without the system he wouldn't be able to do this, and would be forced into Reincarnation

Luckily though, he did have the system, so this wouldn't be a problem as long as he used his skills and items Intelligently

*Slash*

Adon slashed at the closest Hellhound, Cutting off its head and jumping up to dodge the next attack

"Damn it," Adon said gritting his teeth, he hadn't been fast enough and the hell hound had scratched his leg as he was jumping up

He quickly slashed its head off as he dropped down, then he dodged to the right to avoid the claws of the next Hellhound

*Slash*

"15 left," Adon said as his eyes started to tint red, "Just die..." Adon's eyes fully turned red as he activated his rage skill

'This skill is dangerous, I need to be careful' He knew the risks of using this, if he used it too long he would lose all sense of self and go on a rampage, just like when he had killed Hephaestus

Adon lunged forward at the nearest Hellhound easily dispatching it with his saber and dodging a blow from behind

"Times up..." Adon said as he stood up looking at the 10 remaining hell hounds, The Hell hounds paused as well, they could instinctively feel that something had changed

The Calamity blade dropped out of his hands as he grinned wildly, dropping down to all fours, In the next second he flashed forward with his teeth sunk into one of the hound's necks as he ripped the flesh off killing it

"Come at me" He growled as he spits out the blood from the hell hound

The Hounds obliged and rushed forward, flames switching around them as they got closer to Adon's growling figure

(Solar Flare)

A small Yellow beam flew out of Adon's mouth hitting a Hell Hound in the head killing it instantly, As it fell it tripped one of the others, which was unfortunate enough to be ripped apart by Adon's bare hands in the next second

Adon was getting more brutal by the second, Each kill had a gruesome end to it, one's head was squashed, another's heart pulled out by his hand as he smiled

As this was going on, in Olympus Zeus was getting a premonition he would regret ignoring

"A prophecy? the last prophecy you told me was when Athena was going to be born

" Do not underestimate fate! this is important for not only you but everyone in Olympus" Stethno, one of the Fates said and then all three went quiet as green most surrounded them

"Take Head...for time shall tell,

The weakest god, Breaks from his shell,

It starts with war, ends with Calamity

The god of time ends all Sovereignty"

The green mist disperses as the fates now and leave Zeus to think about the prophecy...

(A/N: So Underworld is actually going to be a few chapters, and trust me this is important for everything to come later😁)
