It was a spring afternoon when i realized i should get the hell out of there as soon as possible. And, first tip, all the decisions you make before turning 18, ARE WRONG.

— Wake up, princess. — I felt a temporary pain in the soles of my feet and my body contracted. The famous feeling of having slept for just a few minutes took me over.

Feathers flew around my sleeping bag when a pillow was thrown in my face. Still doing soft body, i ignored.

A voice, almost maternal, started to speak over me.

— Come on, you asked for this, remember?

Still quite sleepy, i took the pillow off my face and opened my eyes. Breina held two wooden mugs with some carvings that i couldn't recognize. A warm smoke was coming out of them.

The bitter smell of tea washed over the hut, when she offered me one of the mugs.

— Wow… Is that how you feel after a day of patrolling in the florest? — I asked, accepting the drink. It was at a perfect temperature. I drank slowly, to taste the chamomile flavor.

— For someone who is starting now, but you get used to it. And before i accepted you, i slept during the day and patrolled at night, with Mariner.

She took the tea to her mouth and took a good si´p.

— Take your bow and some arrows. — She said, going outside.

A map, with some circled places and some instruments (anything to measure distance? I didn't pay attention) were on the table, along with my wooden bow and an almost empty saddlebag. I finished drinking and went outside with the requests from Breina.

The bald mountain was a day away from the village. Once up there, you could see the sea around the island and some Erlee ships passing over the horizon. The problem is that is was a very strange training ground.

Why not in the forest, instead on a top of a mountain?

— Ah! Look who woke up! — The unmistakable smell of fried eggs and bacon comes out of a frying pan in the heat of the fire. Robin stirred the spatula and put two eggs on a plate. — Want some?

— Ugh, please, i'm starving… — I said taking the plate from her hand. Apparently even Mariner didn't like waking up at this hour, she gave a long yawn showing her teeths when she saw me. Robin took a small pot and placed it within reach, wich wagged his tail happily, when she started eating.

— So! How is training with Breina going so far? — Asked Robin. — I know she's a little… Undecipherable.

— Yeah… I'm already regretting it. And, by the way, why are we training on top of a mountain than in a forest? — I asked, with my mouth full of bacon.

She tilted her head and smiled to me.

— To kill you, of course!

A whistle and an arrow pierced Robin's throat. As if time was passing more slowly, she tumbled to the left, her blond hair flying in the wind and her smile still on her face. Mariner was motionless on the floor with his mouth open and his eyes glassy, two arrows stuck in his gut.

A storm began to take shape over the island. On the horizon, ships were dueling and the earth trembled together. A lightning bolt fell a few meters from me and i took my arm to my face, to protect myself from the dust and to be able to see my attacker.

He lifted Breina's with a blade across his throat. Her hands were close to her body and blood was dripping from her mouth. Another lightning bolt landed near us and he pulled the bridle body out of his gun, falling into a muddy puddle.

I couldn't move. One part of me wanted to run a long way and the other part really wanted to smash the face of that masked guy.

He drew a long sword from his back and spun it, shining with electricity.
