Tribute to a diary

Duncan sat down on Seirra's bed and pulled her diary again. This time, he read it from the first page and stopped at something she wrote just recently.

[It all happened two years ago. I was a bright and a diligent student because I had someone who would shower me with praise every time I did well. I had many friends also and was popular too. Yet, my house was the same. My parents were not two pairs from the same type, they were still oil and water, they didn't get along with themselves.

I had a best friend that I called Nina but her name was Olga. Nina was a fictional character she created in her mind and told me about her, like a superhero. Therefore, I decided to call her by the name she created. I used to tease her a lot, especially since we were born on the same day. I used to tell her that if I was Jewish, I would be older than her. I used to torture her about it, telling her she should respect people who are older than her.
