Sheep

Mornings are not my thing.

They always stressed me out. The earlier I was up the more time I would waste. I hate having to wake up for anything besides basic needs. like going to the bathroom or taking my dog outside for her to go to the bathroom.

I gently got up. Bullet was still sleeping. she can get quite noisy in the mornings. Today is not a good day for me to deal with her and her barking. I tipped toed to my closet for clean clothes and then I tip topped to my bathroom next. As I washed my face and brushed my teeth I prayed. I don't know why, but every time I would wash my face, teeth, or my body. I pray to be cleansed, for all the nasty or ugly vibes that got stuck with me would wash away. It might be a silly thing for you, but for me, it was as normal as breathing. It also became a routine.

As I finished getting ready and changed into some black jeans and a warm long-sleeved shirt and a black sweater. I carefully got out to grab my backpack. Bullet was still snuggled up on my bed. She is so lucky she's a dog. I grabbed my phone and backpack from the ground as quietly as I could manage. thankfully Bullet didn't wake up. I turned the knob, slowly and opened the door. I gently let the knob go as I got out.

I left a little crack open, so that Bullet could get out easily if she wanted to.

Breakfast is important. Believe me, I'm all about my health and wealth. I just don't get hungry in the mornings. I do eat an hour after I wake up, though. Trying to find my generic pink shoes was hard. I thought I left them in the hallway? When I finally found them it made me even moodier than I already was. One was under the couch and the other was by the door under another shoe. What a great morning it has been! Grabbing my green PennyBoard by the door. I open the door and lock it.

As soon as I got out, I heard a crunch sound. My eyes opened in horror when I looked down. Under my pink shoe was a dead blue jay.

" what in the world *gag* ew, ew, ew!"

I kicked the bird off of my porch. As I turned to the side to look around to see if there was anybody who looked suspicious. This could have been a sick prank from some kids or worse teenagers. Ironic right, me being seventeen and hating teen, what a laugh.

Instead of seeing someone suspicious, I just see a moving truck and movers dead in their tracks staring at me. Never have I wanted the earth to just swallow me then and there.

Since when was the house next door for sale? How long have they been staring? To make matters worse I have to walk past them to get to school. Kill me now please, anyone. Taking in a deep breath and summing up as much courage as I could take. I start walking. Man do I wanna just go back inside and sleep. The movers continue with what they were doing. I'm so glad that my headphones are attached to my phone right now. Putting each bud in and pressing play. I drop my board and just go. Sadly the foot I stepped thee dead bird with is the foot I use to skate, penny board, surf, and almost anything. Right now all I want to do is get out of there and get to school on time. As I pass the movers and start catching momentum a car comes out of nowhere. This causes me to jump off my penny board in the nick of time. Of course, I fall on my ass and my phone falls beside me. I grab it and that's when I see the time. I'm going to be late for school! Not caring for what almost just happened. I jump and slide across the hood of the car.

Don't ask me how I managed to do that.

As soon as my legs touch the ground I'm off to get my board, which is upside down next to the sidewalk. I skate as fast as I can. I can feel the adrenaline kicking in.

I'm going unusually fast for a chill person like me.

I run to the school doors, My board in my hand. I rang the bell. When I hear the click sound coming from the door, which signifies that the door has unlocked. I open the door and still dash up the stairs. I know I'm late I run anyway though. Running to the front desk makes me break a sweat. I can see our front desk lady Ms. Hale. Ms. Hale turns around from the copy machine. Her eyes open with fright as if she saw a ghost.

"R.M, Are you okay? what happened?" she asked.

I was so confused. Did I really look that tired from a run up the stairs?

" Oh, I'm just out of breath and sweating," I say with a small smile trying to act like it's okay.

" Your bleeding from your head and your hands are scratched, Oh my so are your knees!"

"What?".

I run to the bathroom, ignoring Ms. Hale. Entering the girl's bathroom I turn the corner to face the mirror. I stare at myself, shocked at how I look. I'm pale to the bone. dried blood on the side of my head running down my neck cuts on my hands and knees. My jeans got torn and through the holes, you can see blood and scratches. My hair is a bigger mess. I look like a bruja, a witch.

A high-pitched scream echoed throughout the bathroom walls. In the mirror, I can see a girl screaming at me. I think I scared her. I turn around to assure her that I'm okay, even though I'm not okay.

She starts apologizing and asking if I'm okay.

I assure her that I'm okay just hurt a little. I apologized for scaring her.

When I got out of the bathroom people were surrounding the bathroom. Students and teachers. All wondering what happened.

Can this day get even worse? I should actually stop talking. Every time I say something like that, The worst happens. I made my way through the crowd and ignored what people were saying. I went straight to my class. I know I was late and needed a card, but people were in my way. I know this sounds so mean to say. Hear me out though. I don't like people paying attention to me and Right now I'm still in a mood. I opened the door. which was history class.

The room went dead silents, gasps were heard here and there.

My teacher was dead silent in his place. My friends were too shocked to say anything. I turned even paler from the nervousness. being stared at made me feel scared and judged. Especially from strangers. I'm not usually this shy. I'm actually really loud and bubbly.

At this moment I was terrified.

Then it hit me everything from this morning to almost getting hit by a car and seeing myself in the mirror. I just broke down and cried. I started sobbing. and That's when time resumed. My friends, the teacher, and my classmates came up to me. They started "reassuring me" and "asking me if I'm okay."

I said, " I don't know."

And for some reason, Everything went black.

damn! I fainted.
