Episode 11: Starting a new life.  

Alexa and Mark are standing at the main entrance doors of Donald Williamson Hospital, aiming their gun at the stranger which also aimed his gun at Alexa, but eventually lowered it. "Answer my question. Who are you?" asks Alexa. "If you can lower your gun, I will tell you." Says the stranger in a rude and sarcastic way. "And why the hell will I do that?" asks Alexa. "Just answer the damn question, it's not that hard, just say what your name is." says Mark. The guy laughs and then says, "My name's Collin ." says the man. "Do you have a group?" asks Mark. "Maybe." Says Collin. "Ok, well let's start with…Do you have a camp somewhere?" asks Alexa. "Maybe…maybe not." Says Collin. "Ok…" says Alexa with a impatient sigh and smile. "If you're going too keep behaving like a smartass, and think you're a smart ass, you can turn around right NOW, and walk away, or you can answer some simple questions." Says Alexa. "If I have camp somewhere, what the fuck are you going to do about, in anyway?" asks Collin. "Listen to me carefully, if you want us to help you, or anything, you better answer these Fucking questions." Says Alexa, as she also lowers her again, as well us Mark. "Ok…yeah I do have a group out there, and I'm out here scavenging for them, so if you don't mind I will like to come through, to see if here's anything worth taking." Says Collin as he steps forward. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" asks Alexa as she pushes him away from the door, and stops him from coming inside. "I'm scavenging, so get the fuck out of my way." Says Collin, as he tries to get inside, but Alexa still stops him. "Listen man, what the fuck is your problem? This isn't your place." Says Mark. "Oh, so it's yours?" asks Collin. "Yes." Says Mark. "Oh…" says Collin as he steps outside and look around at the walls of the hospital, and then he suddenly turns around and says, "I don't see your name on here anywhere.". "Our name doesn't have to be anywhere, we found it first, we killed every single thing inside of this building, on our own. So I don't know who the fuck you think you think you are, but this is OUR camp, and NOTHING of you, so get fuck out of my community." Says Alexa. Collin just smiles, and leans down to pick up his gun. Mark sees that Collin tries to pick up his gun, so he aims his gun back at him, just for in case he tries anything. "Don't even think of doing anything."  Says Mark. Collin leaves his gun and puts his hands in the air as a joke and says, "Can just please pick up my gun, or does that Also belong to you?"  asks Collin in a sarcastic way. "Pick it up, and get the hell out of here." Says Alexa. So Collin picks up his gun, turn around, and walks back to the street…but just when Mark turns around to get the water, and Alexa puts away here gun, Collin turns around and shoots Mark.

"All right so here's the plan…everyone needs to take one of the toolboxes in the one of the houses, and start taking down the zinc plates, it doesn't matter where you begin, but just begin somewhere." Says Fabiana. "Yeah, and when you guys are done, with the zinc plates just, put in on each other, and leave it there, we will all split into groups of two or in this case one group will have three people, and then help each other carry it to the van."  Says Miranda. "Ok." Says Ethan. "Yeah and Sarah the zinc plates are too heavy for you, just leave it then." Says Miranda. "Ok." Says Sarah. "Ok, everybody let's get to work." Says Fabiana, and the group splits up, and go each to a house to start taking down the zinc plates.

The gunshot echo's into the sky, crows fly away, and Mark fells down on the ground. "Mark! Honey! Are you ok?" asks Alexa as she kneels down in front of Mark. "I'm fine…" says Mark as he holds his arm, to try loosing too much blood. "You're going to be ok." Says Alexa, as Collins walks towards her. "Babe, behind you!" says Mark, when suddenly Collin grabs Alexa around her neck, and pulls her outside the hospital. "Get…the…fuck of me." Says Alexa as she tries to get away. "Today, you and your husband will both die." Says Collin he whispers it in Alexa's ear. "Or…I can kill him, and you can come with me, and then we can make love every single day." Says Collin. "Fuck you." Says Alexa as she hits Colling with her head, and starts to run back inside to grab her gun that se dropped when she went to Mark. While Alexa runs back Collin trips her, while his nose are bleeding. "That was your last mistake, you little bitch" says Collin as he tries to hold Alexa's hands together. Suddenly Mark grabs Alexa's gun and aims it at Collin's head. Suddenly the gunshot goes off, but Colling moves his head just in time, and then he quickly takes his gun, while he hold Alexa's hand together with his other hand, and shoots Mark in the leg. "Ahhh!!" yells Mark as he drops the gun an hold his leg with is other hand, to try and stop the bleeding. "Maaarrrkkk!!" yells Alexa, when suddenly Collin slaps her again, and runs to Mark, and kicks away the gun, far enough so that he can't reach it. Alexa starts to stand up, while Collin runs back to Alexa. "Come here you little bitch." Says Collin as he grabs Alexa by her hair and holds her tight to him. In this time Alexa is also in pain. Collin aims the gun at Alexa's head while he walks back to Mark. "You brought this on yourselves." Says Collin as he stops in front of Mark with gun pointing at Alexa's head. Alexa is starts to show some tears. "Please…please, don't do this." Says Alexa while she cries. "All you guys could have done, is to let me in, and take all of your stuff." Says Collin. "Oh…so that you…can kill us in anyway?" asks Mark as he hold his arm, and leg where he got shot. "You two got balls. But looks like I got more, because the two of you, can't even take out one guy." Says Collin as he gives an evil smile. "Shoot me, instead of her, please." Says Mark in pain. "No, I'll shoot her first, so that you can suffer, and then I will take your stuff, torture you, and then kill you." Says Collin. "Please…don't do this." Says Alexa in tears. "Like I said, you brought this on yourself." Says Collin as he cocks the gun. "Die you motherfu…" says Collin, when an arrow flies right trough his throat. Collin immediately drops Alexa, and the gun. "Who said that they were alone?" asks Connor, as he lowers his bow, and while Collin struggles to swallow, because the arrow is still stuck in his throat. "Connor takes out another arrow, to shoot him in the head, when Alexa suddenly stops him, "NO! Let him suffer." Says Alexa as she throws her middle finger for Collin. And not long after that Collin falls on his knees and then falls down, and then he was finally dead.

"Are you guys alright?" asks Connor as he walks down the stairs. "I've never been so terrified in my life." Says Alexa as she turns around Mark. "Don't worry we're safe now." Says Connor. "No, no, no, no!" says Alexa as she runs to Mark, when she sees that he's passed out. "No, is he…?" asks Connor. "No, he just passed out." Says Alexa. "Ok let me pick him up." Says Connor as he walks to Mark, and picks him up. "In my office." Says Alexa as she runs to her office. Connor walks as fast as he can, and then he puts Mark on the bed, in Alexa's office. "Connor is he gone?" asks Jolene as she walks downstairs with her gun her hands. "Yes." Says Connor. "Where's Alexa and Mark?" asks Jolene. "In here, Mark's been shot." Says Connor. "Oh, god." Says Jolene as she walks to Alexa's office. "Hi mommy!" says Nicole as she comes running in the office. "Daddy?" asks Nicole. "Nicole I told you stay upstairs." Says Jolene. "Sorry." Says Nicole. "Is daddy going to be ok?" asks Nicole while Alexa gets the supplies to take out the bullet. "Come on, Nicole, let's go read a book." Says Jolene as she picks up Nicole and goes upstairs with her.

Fabiana, Miranda, Ethan, Susan, Peter, Paula and Sarah has already at least taken of half of the zinc plates, from their houses. Sarah takes the last nail out of the wall and zinc plate with the backside of her hammer, and slowly throws the hammer and nail on the ground, out of her way, while she holds the zinc plate against the wall frame, with her other hand. After she throws the hammer and nail on the ground, she carefully takes the zinc plate by it's side and slowly walks backwards and drags the zinc plate to the four other zinc plates, she has already taken off. There is a total of six zinc plate around each house. Sarah puts the zinc plate on the other four and then she quickly stands up, and stretching her back a bit. "Damn." Says Sarah out of breath while she rubs her back. "You little buddy, let me feel much older than I actually am." Says Sarah as she looks at her baby bump, and talks to the baby, and then continue to work.

About three hours later, and about 5pm, starting to get dawn, when  they were finally done, every single house is now fully gone, except for the furniture inside, the van is packed completely on the backseat and the trunk, and has enough space, for five of them to squeeze inside the middle seat, and for two to sit in the front seats.

"We did it guys." Says Susan, out of breath. "Yeah, well done guys" says Paula, also out of breath. "Sarah you did today." Says Fabiana. "Thanks, it's nice to do some exercise again." Says Sarah out of breath and tired. "You probably tired." Says Miranda. "You have no idea. But I guess we're all tired, we literally worked the whole day." Says Sarah. "Yeah, thanks to the fucking herd." Says Peter. "I don't think Alexa will let us start with the fence tonight, we're all pretty exhausted." Says Miranda. "Yeah, I agree." Says Ethan. "Ok, well we should keep, going we told them they should start looking for us if we're not back by dawn." Says Paula. "Yeah, let's go." Says Fabiana.

It's getting dawn, at the Donald Williamson Public Hospital, Jolene is ready a storybook for Nicole and Charli-April upstairs, while Mark still lies on the bed in Alexa's office, while Alexa sits on her office chair waiting for Mark to wake up. She has removed the bullets and covered his arm and leg with bandages, and she also stitched her cheek where Collin hit her. "Hey." Says Connor as he walks inside Alexa's office. "Hi." Says Alexa. "Do you mind if I sit down?" asks Connor. "No, not at all." Says Alexa. Connor moves the 'visitor' chair a bit away from the desk, puts his bow against the chair, on the floor, and sits down. "How are you feeling?" asks Connor. "Honestly…I don't know." Says Alexa. "You're still thinking about him, aren't you?" asks Connor. "Well, I can't just act like nothing happened." Says Alexa. "I know, but the only way how you're gonna feel better, is by talking about it, and I'm not saying you should tell me about, but talk Susan about it or Miranda." Says Connor. "Well, I guess as sooner I talk to somebody the sooner I can get it out of my head. So is it ok, if I share my feelings with you?" asks Alexa. "Sure, if you think so." Says Connor. "I just don't know if you will really be interested about I feel, with all due respects." Says Alexa. "Hey, you and Mark are feeling like my own brother and sister, and brother-and sisters supports each other, and listens to each other, so please don't feel bad for asking me." Says Connor. "…Ok…" says Alexa and takes a deep breath. "It's just…the way Collin hold me against him…he held me so tight against him, like if he wanted me to feel his…" says Alexa as she starts to cry. "And then when he pushed me to the ground, I really thought that I was going to get raped in front of Mark, and…if I just was so scared because I've never experienced something like that before…and then when…" says Alexa as she starts to cry more and more. "And then when he held me at gunpoint…I was begging him not do kill me…cause I only thought about my children…so I begged him not to do it, but I didn't wanted to tell him, that I have kids…because I was afraid that he will kill them too, or even try too rape them, and I just…never felt so scared in my life before." Says Alexa in tears. "I'm so sorry, Alexa." Says Connor. "Can I give you a hug?" asks Alexa. "Of course" says Connor, as he stands up to give Alexa a hug. Alexa is crying and is in tears while she gives Connor a sisterly hug. "Thanks for listening to me." Says Alexa in tears. "Of course." Says Connor, while he gives Alexa a brotherly hug.

"Well, why don't you get your guys something to eat so long, and then I'll go take watch until the others come back." Says Connor as he picks up his bow and arrows. "You don't have too." Says Alexa, and calms down a bit. "I insist." Says Connor, and goes outside.

About thirty minutes later, Connor was still taking watch waiting for Miranda and the rest to come back, when he suddenly hears a car noise. Connor quickly gets an arrow and gets it ready for in case it's not them, but it was. "Thank god." Says Connor as he steps out of the way, so that Peter can enter the parking lot. "Oh, I'm glad you guys are still here, I was afraid you guys were already out looking for us." Says Peter as he climbs out of the van. "Oh, I don't think we would have." Says Connor. "Why, is everything ok?" asks Peter. "No not really." Says Connor. "Why, what happened?" asks Susan as the rest of them climbs outside of the van. "Some asshole was here, shot Mark in the arm and leg, and tried to rape, Alexa and held her at gunpoint." Says Connor. "What?" asks Sarah as she immediately runs inside the hospital to her mother and father. "Mom!" calls Sarah as she runs back to the hospital. Susan, Paula, Ethan, Fabiana and Miranda also runs inside to see if they're ok. "And where's this motherfucker now?" asks Peter. "I killed him." Says Connor.

"Mom! Mom!" calls Sarah as she comes running inside the hospital. "Sarah?" answers Alexa as she comes walking outside her office. "Oh my god, mom!" says Sarah and runs to Alexa and gives her a hug. "Hey." Says Alexa as she gives Sarah a hug. We heard what happened, are you ok?" asks Sarah in a worried voice. "I'm fine Sarah." Says Alexa. "I'm so sorry." Says Sarah as she sees Alexa's cheek and gives her another hug. "Thanks, but I feel a lot better already, really." Says Alexa. "Where's dad, is he ok?" asks Sarah. "He's inside, resting, he lost a bit too much blood, but he will be fine." Says Alexa. "Can I see him?" asks Sarah. "Of course, but I don't know, if he'll be awake." Says Alexa when suddenly Sarah runs inside the office.

"Hey. I'm glad you're ok." Says Susan as she gives Alexa a hug. "Thank you." Says Alexa, when suddenly Jolene comes downstairs with Charli-April. "Momma.." says Charli-April. "Ha." Says Jolene, Alexa and Susan, when Charli-April says her first word. "Did my precious little girl, just said "momma"?" asks Susan as she picks Charli-April up and gives her kisses, while the rest gives Alexa a hug.

"Well, guys we can deal with the walls tomorrow, each one of you grab something in the cafeteria to eat, and go too sleep, it's been a long, Looonnggg day." Says Alexa. "Ok." Says Miranda, while the rest of them goes to the cafeteria. "Connor? Will you just help me put Mark in our bed, when your done?" asks Alexa. "No problem." Says Connor.

So when everyone got something to eat, and Mark was upstairs, they all went to bed early.

It was the next day, about eight o' clock, crows are eating the flesh off of the zombies outside on the street, as well as inside the hospital. And of course Alexa wakes up, first and starts the day.

About an hour and a half later, Ethan, Peter, Paula, Susan and Jolene starts placing the zinc plates at the left, front corner of the main entrance, while Alexa, Fabiana, Miranda and Connor tries to find out more about Collin, while Mark rests. "Wait, did you guys saw something along the road, to balance the walls with?" asks Alexa. "Yes we're gonna use the wooden frames of the houses, don't worry it's pretty strong." Says Paula. "Ok." Says Alexa.

"Ok so are we sure this guy was actually with a group?" asks Miranda, as they stands around one of the cars, with Collin's body on top of the car, already stabbed in the head. "Yeah, I'm sure he was." Says Alexa. "Well, let's search him, to see if we find anything useful." Says Connor, as he starts searching Collin's pockets. Fabiana and Miranda searches his back bag he had on, and Alexa and Connor searches his pockets. "Ahh look what we have hear." Says Connor as he takes out a fully loaded magazine for his gun. "Keep that, it can become useful." Says Alexa when she suddenly feels something inside his pocket. It was a little ID, that says:

First name: Collin

Last name: Sanders

Age: 39

Sex: Male

Position: Scavenger

"Guys I found something." Says Alexa and starts to read what's on the ID. "Demon's Hills?" asks Fabiana. "That's the community's name, where his from." Says Alexa. "The name fits perfectly for people like him, demon." Says Connor.  "Ok, well at least we learnt something." Says Fabiana. "Yeah, just a name, we don't know where the fuck this place is." Says Miranda. "Yeah, we don't know how far they are from us, they could be near us, far away from us, but at least we know for which community to look for." Says Connor. "I don't think they're that far away from us, because he came on foot." Says Alexa. "Maybe." Says Fabiana. "What do you mean, "maybe"" asks Alexa. "We don't know if he brought people with him, they could have stopped a few miles away from the hospital, so that we don't know he brought more people." Says Fabiana. "Then why haven't they come searching for him?" asks Alexa. Fabiana just keeps quiet. "Ok well, like Fabiana said, we at least found something about this people." Says Alexa. "What now?" asks Connor. "Let's help, them with the walls and then we can talk about this later while we're busy with the walls." Says Alexa. "Ok" says Miranda as she walks to Peter and the other three to help them with the walls.

Susan is busy holding the zinc plate at the left corner of the entrance, while Ethan places the logs dialogical against the wall and the street, to balance it, while Jolene and Paula, and Connor and Miranda does the same, while Alexa and Fabiana carries the one zinc plate out of the van, to place it next to Miranda and Connor's zinc plate. While Peter walks to the van to get him also a zinc plate, Sarah suddenly comes outside the hospital. "Need help?" asks Sarah as she sees Peter working on his own. "Sure, if your up to it." Says Peter. "Sure." Says Sarah and walks to Peter to help him with the zinc plate. "Sarah I thought you're with your sister?" asks Alexa, while she and Fabiana slowly puts the zinc plate down on the ground. "I was, but she wants to read Charli-April her book." Says Sarah as she walks to the van. "She's adorable" says Fabiana as she looks at Alexa and smiles. "Ok, well just be careful." Says Alexa. "I'm always careful." Says Sarah and go helps Peter.

A few minutes later everyone of them was busy balancing the logs that they use as pillars, while some of them holds the zinc plates steady, form the inside. Ethan, Paula, Alexa, Peter and Connor, is busy hitting the nails with the hammers, through the logs into the zinc plates. Suddenly while they were hammering the nails about five zombies comes from the left side of the hospital, walking towards the group. "Keep it steady." Says Peter as he stop hammering the nails and walks towards the zombies to kill them. Alexa, Ethan, Connor and Paula does the same. While their on their way to the zombies, they take out their melee weapons, and Connor one of his arrows. Peter stabs one of the zombies in the head with his lead pipe, Paula stabs another zombie with the bed's leg, while stabs one of the zombie with his arrow, and Alexa, Fabiana and Ethan with their knifes, and then all five of them killed all five zombies, each one of them had a zombie to kill. "Connor you arrows are not going to last long, if you keep using them as a melee weapon." Says Miranda, while the five of them walks back. "Yeah, I know." Says Connor as he picks up the hammer, and Miranda takes out her knife. "Here, take my knife." Says Miranda as she hands Connor her knife. "No, I don't want to take your knife." Says Connor. "I insist, take it." Says Miranda. "But what are you going to use then?" asks Connor. "I have a sword, I will use that." Says Miranda. "Ok…thanks." Says Connor as he takes Miranda's knife. So the ten of them carried on working on the walls.

While the group was busy outside, working on the fence, Mark slowly opens his eyes, as he wakes up. Mark slowly sits up straight when, he feels the pain in his arm and leg for the first time, after he was stitched up. "Ow…god…dammit." Says Mark as he feels the pain. Mark's right arm is stitched, and covered with bandages, as well as his right leg. Mark wants to stand up, when he sees a letter on the bedside table, with a long bed's leg leaning against the wall. Mark picks the letter and starts ready it. "Mark, I'm writing this for you in a letter, otherwise you won't do it, because I know you're not going to like this, but if you need to go to the bathroom or something, PLEASE use this bed's leg as a cane, to keep your balanced. And if you're wondering where we are, we're probably outside working on the walls, and please don't come outside trying to help us you need rest. Alexa" reads Mark the letter out loud. So Mark takes the bed's leg, and stands up.

As he opens the door, and walks outside, he hears Nicole's voice coming from Susan and Ethan's room, so he walks to their room see what Nicole's doing. "…And then…Tom the cat ties to steal Jerry's…che…cheesé?" asks Nicole very confused. "It's cheese." Says Mark as he stands at the door. "Daddy!!" screams Nicole of happiness, while she stands up and runs to Mark. "Careful, careful…" says Mark so that Nicole doesn't gives a 'squeeze' hug. "Are you ok?" asks Nicole. "Yes sweetie I'm feeling much better." Says Mark. What are you guys doing?" asks Mark. "I'm reading a book to Charli." Says Nicole. "Oh, that's sweet, you stay here ok? I'm going to check on mommy." Says Mark as he turns. "Ok daddy." Says Nicole and hops back to Susan's bed to continue reading Charli-April the book, while she lies in the newborn bed.

Ethan and Susan, Alexa and Fabiana as well as Connor and Miranda are busy doing their second zinc plates, while Peter and Sarah gets one out of the van as well as Paula and Jolene. "Ah, look at mister crippled leg and arm, all on his feet again." Says Ethan as a joke, while Mark comes outside of the hospital, while using the bed's leg as a crane. "Hi guys…" says Mark as he walks to them. "Mark…" says Alexa as she looks over the side of the zinc plate. "Why the hell do I even waste my time to write you a letter, and you still does the opposite that I say?" asks Alexa. "Well, I am using my 'crane', aren't I?" asks Mark as he walks to Alexa. "Yeah you are, but it doesn't help if you use it and then pass out in anyway." Says Alexa. "Why will I pass out?" asks Mark. "Because you almost lost too much blood, and if you don't rest, your blood cells will take longer to produce new blood, and then you can die." Says Alexa. "Ok, I just wanted to see if you're guys doing fine." Says Mark. "We are, thank you." Says Alexa. "Were you guys able to find out something about Collin?" asks Mark. "Yes, we'll talk about it when were done with the entrance's walls." Says Alexa. "Oh ok." Says Mark. "Honey, if you want to be part of the meeting later, you need to go upstairs and rest, please." Says Alexa. "Ok, I'm going. But can I at least get a kiss?" asks Mark. "Yes." Says Alexa. So Mark gives Alexa a kiss and goes back upstairs.

It was about two and a half hours later, when the whole entrance of the hospital, was protected by zinc plates. Right in the middle of the entrance, is no zinc plate, because there is where the entrance door will be. "Guys look at our hard work that we did today!" says Alexa with happiness in her voice, while she looks at the walls at the entrance. "Now we will fell less worried already." Says Ethan. "Yeah, we just figure out how we are going to make the main door, but that can wait for now." Says Alexa. "What do you want us to do now?" asks Miranda. "If one of you can just park the van in front of the space, so that we can use that as a gate for now, and then I want to talk to you guys about Collin, in the cafeteria." Says Alexa. "Ok I'll get the van." Says Ethan.

About six minutes later, everyone was in the cafeteria having a little snack, a slice of bread with tomato, and some water, including Mark too. "Alright, so what did you guys found out about this asshole?" asks Ethan. "We found an ID. There was a stamp on it, with a community's name, and the community's name is, Devil's Hills" says Alexa. "Can I please see how the ID looks?" asks Paula. "Uh…sure." Says Alexa, while she gets the ID in her pocket. "Here you go." Says Alexa as she hands Paula the ID. "Shit…" says Paula as she looks at the ID. "What's wrong?" asks Mark. "The people that took my mother, had tags attached to their shirt, that also says Devil's Hills." Says Paula. "Oh god…" says Susan. "So this is the same people, that took my mother, and told me that they will be coming back for me too, and I guess that's what that guy, Collin came to do, to get me." Says Paula. "But Collin, thought it was just me and Mark, that were here." Says Alexa. "That is what I don't understand, maybe they told them to come here, but didn't told him why…?" says Paula. "Well, that can be." Says Fabiana. "That's the only logical solution I can think off." Says Paula. "So that means, that they're still coming for you, and when they see us, they'll probably come for us back, too." Says Alexa. "Did they like say, how many they are, or anything like that?" asks Connor. "Well, I did tell them, that I will kill them, when I found them, but then the one guy with a scarfed eye, told me that there's no way, that one woman, can take out two hundred-and ninety seven people (297)." Says Paula. "Okay…that's a lot." Says Susan. "Ok, but we don't even know, if he was telling the truth." Says Miranda. "Yeah, he could just have told you, that just so that you don't go after them." Says Fabiana. "But if he was telling the truth, then we must start working on a plan, for if they are coming back." Says Alexa. "But we don't have that many people." Says Connor. "That's why we should find more people, that will help us, and become part of the community, and then we should start defensing the community, and be prepared for just in case." Says Alexa. "And what if they come back tonight?" asks Ethan. "I don't think they will come back tonight, because there was already someone here today. But if they come back tonight they won't come in big groups, because they only think that Paula is here, so they think it will be easy to only take her." Says Alexa. "Well, they are getting  a huge fucking surprise." Says Peter. "But what we should be worried about, for the rest of the day, is to help us clearing the hospital out with the piles we made of grabbers." Says Alexa. "Don't you want someone to take watch?" asks Connor. "Ok, you and Mark, can go." Says Alexa. "Ok." Says Connor, as he stands up, and picks up his arrow. "Are you surer, you guys will be alright?" asks Mark. "Yes honey, go take watch so that your body don't have to work too hard." Says Alexa. "Ok, love you." Says Mark as he gives Alexa a kiss. "Love you too." Says Alexa.

Alexa, Miranda and Jolene, are busy putting one of the pile of zombies, on the counter top, while, Peter, Ethan, Fabiana and Paula are busy on the second floor. Mark and Connor is patrolling the entrance of the hospital, and Susan and Sarah are upstairs with Charli-April and Nicole.

"Man, I still can't believe we killed this whole herd, by ourselves." Says Miranda while she pushes the one counter top underneath the pile of zombies, that are in front of the stairs. "Yeah, me too, but just think if, Paula was alone here, she would not have made it." Says Alexa, while she walks to Miranda to help her with the counter top. There is only three counter tops, one for the first floor, and two for the second floor. "But I think if it wasn't for Fabiana's cleverness, some of us wouldn't have made it out." Says Jolene. "Yeah, I agree." Says Alexa.

Suddenly Peter comes downstairs. "Alexa where did you say, we should throw the grabbers in?" asks Peter as he comes running down the stairs. "Uh…in the ambulances, please." Says Alexa. "Ok." Says Peter, as he runs to Alexa's office to get one of the ambulances keys.

"Ok, you ready?" asks Alexa while she bows down ready, to pick the counter top up. "Yes." Says Miranda while she holds the other side of the counter top. "Ok. One. Two. Three." Says Alexa, and the two of them picks up the counter top, packed with a pile of zombies.

"When was the last time you and I kept watch?" asks Connor, while he stands on the right side of the van, outside of the hospital. "Damn, probably four months ago." Says Mark, as he stands on the left side of the van, outside of the hospital. "I can't believe it's been four months already." Says Connor. "Yeah, me neither." Says Mark.

Suddenly Peter comes outside to reverse one of the ambulances in front of the main doors. "How you guys doing?" asks Connor, when Peter starts the engine. "We're doing just fine." Says Alexa, as she and Miranda comes outside carrying the counter top. It was about a minute later, when Peter stops the ambulance engine, and opens the back doors. Alexa and Miranda quickly throws the one pile of zombies inside the ambulance, when suddenly a noise from the distance echo's towards the hospital.

"What the hell?" asks Connor as he and Mark aims their weapons at the right corner of the street, in front of the hospital. "Son of a bitch." Says Alexa, as she drops the counter top and runs to the van, Peter and Miranda does the same. "What the hell is that?"

 asks Miranda. "It sounds like music." Says Peter. As the noise comes closer and closer to the hospital, the rest of the group suddenly comes outside as well. "What's going on?" asks Fabiana. "Shit is about to happen." Says Connor. When all of them were standing a t the van, they see that a car that belongs to Demon's Hills, has a radio attached to the car's roof, while a huge herd of zombies follows it. "Oh, god." Says Susan. "What are we going to do  now?" asks Ethan. "We have to wait and see." Says Miranda.

"Hello there. My name is Zachary Ackerman, the leader of Demon's Hills, and you guys are about to be fucked up." Says the voice through a voice speaker, outside of the car. The group are staring at him, with anger in their eyes, while the herd zombies approaches the hospital, to eat all of them. The guy in the car smiles and puts the radio louder, to attract more zombies, and are to enjoy seeing the group struggling to fight the zombies.
