After the events of the day before, Anna didn't believe for a second she would sleep a wink last night however when her head hit the pillow, and knowing annA was safely resting in the pull out beside her, Anna slept like a baby. She felt fresh and ready to start the day, that was until she remembered the stark warning annA had given last night.

If people saw annA in human form it would weaken Anna and before long it could mean the end of her of annA. To get annA back to wherever she came from, she would need to complete her job here. That means finding Anna's inner peace. Inner peace? Anna had never heard something so absurd she looked up the definition on google and found lots of references to spiritual calm. Calm, Anna could do calm, she'll run herself a nice hot bath, lay still and allow all the chaos around her to subside. That will help her find her inner peace she was sure it would.

Anna stepped over annA as she slept and grabbed her towel and headed down the landing to the bathroom. She closed the door and began to run the bath. No sooner had she closed the door and begun to undress she heard footsteps across the landing. They were heading straight for her room, straight into the room where annA lay sleeping, where annA was not supposed to meet anyone. Anna placed her ear against the large wooden door in the hope she could strain enough to hear what was being said. It was Anna's mother who had entered her bedroom and gently began to stir annA from her slumber.

'We didn't see much of you last night, I just wanted to make sure you were ok' Anna's mother began to open the curtains to let the sunshine in. annA nodded and muttered she hadn't been feeling well so decided to go to bed early. Anna's mother looked confused as she tried to understand why Anna was sleeping on her pullout bed instead of her actual bed. Before she could ask any questions annA explained she couldn't get comfy on the bed so wanted to try the pull out. This seemed to pacify Mrs Rose but she didn't seem in a rush to leave the room.

annA pointed out that the bath was running and she would need to go and get bathed. She once again reiterated there was nothing to worry about and guided Mrs Rose out of the room. Anna listened carefully as her mother padded back towards her room. She breathed a sigh of relief and made a mental

note to ask annA how many run ins they could afford before things really began to get more dangerous for the two of them.

Climbing into the hot bath that Anna had laced with calming bubble bath, Anna was certain this would be all that is needed to get the crazy twin out of her life. She lay back and closed her eyes, blocking out everything that happened in the last 24hours.

Having finished her bath and feeling somewhat refreshed, Anna headed back to her room. She entered the room and found annA staring aimlessly outside. Anna began to dry her hair between her hands and look toward annA for any insight she could offer.

Anna explained that she had taken a bath and was sure she now felt relaxed.

annA didn't say anything but walked towards Anna. She was quite deflated by this

morning visit by Anna's mother. She could sense that these unpatrolled visits will happen sooner or later but she would just rather there was no connection between her house and annA.

annA wanted to get on with the job in hand, she needed to get Anna to school to

help her find friends and to settle her as she joins the new school to finish her final year of exams. Without further delay annA watched Anna dress and peered into the full size mirror that stood in Anna's room. annA's outfit morphed into the busy grey leggings that Anna had chosen paired with a teal green t-shirt. Anna's leather jacket finished the outfit and annA found herself dressed in the same clothing mirroring her new found friend.

Anna swung her pale pink rucksack over her shoulder and grabbed her phone which lay on the bedside table. For a second, she forgot about needing to get annA out the door without being noticed. As soon as Anna remembered, she turned to sigh at Anna. When the two wern't together the matching outfits were a slight advantage. So long as annA said very little, people wouldn't realise that she was a different person to Anna herself. However saying very little seems easier said than done, as annA certainly

liked to talk, Anna needed to make sure that she kept this intruder close to her yet far enough away for people not

To realise there are two of them! Anna shook her head as she headed downstairs and realised to the tough task that lay ahead.
