Chapter 29 - Past (Not edited)

I open my eyes to see Jaxon, Mia, Nathaniel, Niyah and James smiling at me.

"Where did Jerome go?" i ask as Jaxon helps me out of the water and wraps a towel around me.

"He just left to tell the pack that your ancestors accepted it as well" Nathaniel answers as Mia and Niyah cuddle me not caring that i am wet. "Are you okay? Who did you see?" Niyah asks. I smile and look towards the water.

"My mum and dad and my grandma who was luna before my mum and dad" i answer before looking towards Jaxon.

"How's your pack? Are they all right with the decision i made?" i ask him while pulling away from Niyah and Mia. I walk over to him and cuddle him.

"They are fine with it. They understand why you can't fully be their luna yet. They know you are trying to protect them" Jaxon says before he puts an arm around my shoulder and we walk out of the tombs together. "So this is where you grew up?" Jaxon asks as we walk towards the mountains.

"Yeah. Up until i was nine. I have fond memories of this place. Playing hide and seak with the other pack children. Having picnics with my mum and dad. Scaring my dad half to dearh when i jumped from high up in trees while shouting for him to catch me. I loved it here...It was our safe place. Until that night" i say wimcing as i finish.

"When my dad caught you and your mum?" Jaxon asks. I shake my head.

"A friend of my mum came and warned us that an alpha was after my mother and me. I wasn't supposed to hear this... I was supposed to be fast alseep in bed. But my father caught my scent and obviously being the protective father he was pulled me into the room and told me off for not being in bed. But after my mum's friend explained more i could tell my parents were afraid. Not for their safety but for mine. So we packed a bag each and we ran to a safe house several miles east of your pack. We thought we would be safe there. My father made frequent trips to the pack several times a month to see how it was going. And Loki also visited when my dad couldnt go to tell us the status of the pack. One night my father left to go to the pack. About three hours later gas filled the rooms. Every exit was locked. My mum tried smashing a window but the windows were bullet proof. It was too late by the time we finally found a way out. The mistletoe had already entered our bodies. The last thing i remember is shouting for my dad before i passed out" i whisper just as we make it to the opening.

"Im so sorry" Jaxon says.

"It's not your fault Jaxon. You never knew that your father was an evil piece of work. No one knew. Not even his own pack or mate knew. So how were you supposed to know... Hi Smithy" i say walking past. However i still and turn my body and stare in shock. Loki said he was killed during a hunter attack.

"Smithy...your alive?" i ask. He smiles sadly and shakes his head. "Sadly not my old friend. Now you have claimed your rightful place as alpha of the TwinTooth Mountain Pack... Sorry it's now called the Ghost Mountain Pack....my soul can finally rest in piece. But you must know Diana... I wasnt killed by Hunters. I was killed by Loki when i tried to warn you of his betrayal" he says walking towards me. My eyes water.

"You tried to warn us that he was the traitor" i whisper out.

"Im sorry that i couldn't warn you in time. Don't cry Diana. Hold your head up and wipe those tears away. You are strong my dear. And you always will be" he says smiling at me. I do as he says and wipe the tears away.

"He's dead Smithy. Loki is dead. I killed him" i say confidently.

"I know i saw. Thank you my little Dia for letting my soul find peace after all this time" he says just before he disappears.

"Diana!" I suddenly hear Jaxon's voice. I turn and smile at him.

"Why were you talking to air?" He asks.

"It wasn't air, it was an old pack member who can finally lay his soul to rest now that Loki is dead. He was thanking me for it" i say before walking up the cave steps.

"Another of your powers?" Niyah asks. I shake my head.

"No. He made himself known to me. It was what set his soul free. Finally being able to see me one last time. He tried to warn my parents of Loki's betrayal and Loki killed him. Now that loki is dead his soul can return to the moon goddess" i say smiling before shivering.

"I guess it's time for bed. We have training tomorrow" i say. "Goodnight" Mia, Niyah and James say as Nathaniel says

"Night little lycon". I growl at the little part but grab Jaxon's wrist and pulling him into my room. I grab a long top and some shorts before walking into my bathroom and getting changed. I dry my wet hair before walking into my bedroom to see Jaxon already in bed. I roll my eyes when he wiggles his eyebrows.

"That makes you look creepy Jaxon" i say as i climb into bed and cuddle into his chest.

"You're still cuddeling me which means you must of liked it" he says as he wraps his arms around me.

"You're such a weirdo" i mummble out before i let slumber in and i fall into a deep sleep.

I wake the next morning groaning as Niyah and Mia jump on me. I hear Jaxon's slight growl. They must have woke him up as well.

"Come on lazy bones time to get up and train" Niyah says as i open my eyes amd glare at her.

"Alright i get it" i groan out.

"Wow someone's moody this morning" Mia tells me. "Of course i am its six friggen AM in the morning for christ sake. Training doesnt start till half seven" i say sitting up. Jaxon groans but sits up aswell. He sighs and climbs out of bed making me pout. He smirks at my face before walking into the bathroom. Man i don't want to be away from him at all today. What the hell is wrong with me. As if sensing my thought both Niyah and Mia sit down on either side of me.

"Let me guess you dont want to be away from him?" Niyah asks. I nod frowning.

"I don't get why i want to be so close to him all of a sudden" i say.

"Your heat must be close" Mia says and my eyes widen. "Shit. It can't be. So soon. Normally it isn't until two to three months before the heat hits" i whisper out.

"So you may be going into heat huh?" i suddenly hear behind me and my eyes widen. Shit! Shit! Shit! I stand frozen as two hands wrap around my waist.

"I cant wait kitten" he says licking my ear making me purr before he pulls away and walks out the door. I stand wide eyes. What the hell just happened? Both Niyah and Mia both burst out laughing.

"Oh my god you should see your face. It's as bright as a tomato" Niyah manages to get out.

"Oh shut it" i say changing into some leggins and a sports bra. I sigh and tie my hair into a high ponytail before walking down the stairs carrying my trainers. Uhhh i really want to go back to bed.

I stand watching every one leave for the afternoon. Some are heading to town. Where as others are going on picnics with their friends and family. I wince as a pain starts in my abdomen. Maybe i have my period. Uhhh. Just great. Period time. Fun! I groan and walk into the bathroom. I grab a pad and pull down my leggins and my knickers. However instead of blood being on my knickers i see the clear substance only called one thing. Cum. Oh shit! That's when the first wave hof the heat hits me. I pant as feeling of needing something long, thick and hard inbetween my legs get the best of me. Why now? Why does this happen today of all days. My eyes widen when a warrior from the dark hallow pack stumbles in. Shit he must smell my heat. Im pinned to the floor and i quickly growl and throw him off of me. Shit! -JAXON- I scream through our bond. Immedietly i sense his worry.

-What's wrong?- He asks.

-My heat. Its here. I only had seconds to realise it before it kicked in. One of your members have smelled my heat and is in a haze you have to get to my room quickly. I dont know how long i can push my heat away- i cry out through the bond while trying to fight the pack member who is pushing his cock against my stomach. I cry out when he suddenly pins me to the wall. In my weakened and sexually needing state i can't push him off of me. My whole body melts when i suddenly hear a very dominating growl. Jaxon. The pack member suddenly stops.

"GET OUT NOW!" Jaxon growls. The pack member rushes out as i stay against the wall. My senses are all over the place. Im pushed futher against the wall but the tingles tell me it's my mate who is pinning me this time.

"Did you like that mate?" he suddenly growls in my ear. I shake my head biting my lip to stop a moan from coming out. I yelp as he bites my neck. He's half shifted. It's what happens to the male when he smells his mate's heat. Shit! I didn't want the first time to be like this. Kaila was right. I shouldn't have susponed it this long. Man what am i going to do?
