Family Dinner
Nicholas POV
"Prince Nicholas" I hear someone is calling me and as I woke up laying at the bed then I felt someone is poking my cheeks. I hold it and see who it is
She is just smiling at me and its the princess who keeps laughing. I hugged her which makes me want to stay with her
"Prince Nicholas, are you alright? Why do you look upset?" she said and I miss this voice calling my name
"I thought I have lose you again" I said while my tears suddenly fall
"Do you remember me now?"
"Yes, I do. You're prince nicholas of Netherland Dynasty, the youngest son of King Lucas and Queen Marga"
"You're smiling while sleeping which I just watch you until you wake up" I just listen to her if she talk that much but it doesn't matter to me anymore as long she recognize me and remember who I am
"Silent means yes prince nicholas. I'm happy that you're fine. The king and queen will be having a feast to celebrate your victory on war" she said even I don't know what really happen now
She wipe my tears "Stop crying, I know you're still tired but you almost sleep for three days now"
Did I? I don't remember what happen but I don't mind because I'm already here now
"I'm so worried about you when you went to fight in war and I always pray that you'll be safe and no one will harm you" That made me smile
"Now you're safe, I much feel relieved prince nicholas. The king and queen is happy to see you safe and healthy"
She suddenly stand up and help me to get up in bed "Lets walk around the kingdom, since your body needs to talk a walk" I'm still too lazy to roam around but I see she wants me to walk with her together and so do I
She is just beside me and keep playing around like a kid then teasing
"You know what? I miss you and I will keep doing that even you go to war still I'll pray you'll go back safely" she said and doing everything she wants when no one is looking at her but only me
"Princess, you should act properly. You're going to be the next queen of this kingdom" I said because someone might see her this way
"Prince Nicholas, you should always enjoy every moment you have and we should always be happy. Like the two of us. You're my fiance, the next king of this kingdom" she said then dancing like a ballerina and I just dance with her
"If one day, I couldn't remember you or you erased my memories. Just promise me that you'll stay by my side and protect me no matter what happen" that me made feel anxious which I don't understand what she is saying at all
"What are you saying? Princess don't be like that. You're scaring me" I said and I know she is just joking
"Save me no matter what happen to me, if I don't know what I am doing just call out my name and stop me" she is maybe tired right now or maybe just want to go out the kingdom
"Beg your pardon, princess. But I mus...."
"Princess"
"Princess!"
"Where are you?" as I looked around she is not here anymore
"Princess, where are you?" then I suddenly woke up and sighed. I'm still in bed and the curtain are close. I'm having dream at the same a nightmare.
"You're awake" she said and touch my forehead "You're fever gone down a bit now" when she's about to stand up and leave. I pulled and hugged her tight that made her feel shock
"I thought I have lose you again" I can't stop myself feeling terrified at the moment I can't see her by my side
"Nicholas, are you alright?" she asked
"Lets just stay for awhile like this please" I asked her for a favor
"Oh okay I will, but are you alright?" I just to stay at this moment with her, I might not tell when will I see her again by my side?
"Are you crying?" Why can't I tell her what I really feel? Maybe its not the time for me to think about because I promise that I'll come back and protect her
"Please don't leave madeline" I said and my voice crack. She moved and look at me "Okay, I won't and stop crying. I'll just stay by your side"
"I don't know why are you acting like this, but I'm just here okay" she said and I feel assured that she won't. She hand me a water and I just drink it
"You should eat now because you got fever last night and you seem okay now" She help me to stand up and I can handle it because I don't want her to carry me
As of now, I don't really know what to feel but only terrified and scared that something might happen that I wouldn't want to expect
"By the way, how did you get here? Or let me rephrase that. How did you know my address home?" I asked because I didn't tell her where I'm living unless bob told her
"Actually, I've been calling you but bob just answer it told me the address" she said and I knew it because only bob will do it
"I don't see your two bodyguard. What's their name again? No.. P" she can't remember it and I didn't respond on her question because I'm starving and what to eat
"Not to say this, but you keep mentioning the name princess while you're sleeping. I was about to wake you up. On the second of thought maybe you're just having a dream" she said
Madeline suddenly stopped and let go of the glass she was holding which break into piece and she seemed stunned while looking at me. I snapped my finger and that it's the time herself went back
"Are you alright madeline?"
"Ah fine" then she saw the broken glass "Oh I'm sorry about it" she pick every single piece of glass scattered on the floor but she got hurt and blood start to drop
"You should be careful next time" we went to the kitchen on the sink to wash her finger and raise it high to stop the bleeding then she laughed
"My mistake" she said and just avoided my eyes which I didn't mind about it
I looked for a first aid kit in the cabinet, took the medicine and band-aid to stop the bleeding. Is there something bothering her right now? Because she looked shocked at me and just looked into my eyes as if she wanted to tell me something but she couldn't say it because she might say something wrong
"Oh thank you, its fine now" she stood up immediately and picked up the broken glass again but I just held her so that she won't get hurt again in no time so I just made her sit down for awhile and let bob clean it
"No need to do that, you might get hurt again" I said and she might not be able to hold anything if she hurt her hand again. She was just really looking at me so I don't know if the atmosphere is too awkward now or just quiet so I can almost hear my breath
"Nicholas, you have a flight tonight going to Europe after that Germany and New York to meet the royalties of King Wilson and his wife" Bob said to me and I just put a thumbs up to him.
"Since its already 4pm, you didn't get to eat dinner last might so I actually cook your favorite food since Mr. Bob told me what you eat every lunch because I should be careful you might have allergies that might cause you into shock" said Madeline very modestly
"Are you alright awhile ago there?" I'm really worried about her because she might have a problem that I don't know and she just hide it from me
"Yes, I'm fine don't worry" if that's the case, and at least I won't think of anything
"Can I ask you a question? If you mind about it" she said and I just nodded
"Are you a prince or king?" she asked and I suddenly stopped because I do not know if she already remembered me. Why do I feel afraid that she will find out who I am and at the same time I do not know how will I'm going to answer her question
"I'm just kidding Nicholas, I'm just teasing you. I just laughed because how look and you suddenly went quiet there? Is there problem?"
"Ah nothing"
"Because I just noticed that you really fit to be king or prince" she laughed at me and pinched my cheek
"Smile now, did I offend you with my question?" she asked me sadly. I felt suddenly nervous when she asked that question, I thought she already knew or she already remembered who I really was
"Is it really like that when handsome, always mistaken for a prince or king" he said and took food
"Nicholas, don't be obvious in front of her or else she might find out who you really are" bob whispered to me but Madeline didn't see it
"Why aren't you eating Nicholas? It means you don't like my cook" he said and sat down again to eat
I also ate and I still enjoy her cooking. I miss everything we did before
"Oh wait, I'll just need to answer this phone call. I'll be back in a minute" said Madeline and she answered the call, moving away from here
I took a deep breath so I could think clearly what I could do because I almost tell her who I was even though I was very quiet when she asked me that question
"Nicholas be careful next time, you might not know what will happen if she find out the whole truth and remember her past" said bob
I'm still sweating, it's good a thing that she's just joking or else I might erase her memories again since I have no choice to protect her in danger and the pain she felt back then which I couldn't save her but this time I won't let that happen even it kills me. I will fight through life and death for her even it means of losing my life just to let her live
"Maybe she is trying to remember everything but don't know how to do so" I do not know if I will be happy with what bob is saying now, I am even more scared. I also do not have time to stay here because if I do not return in time I will be doomed as well as the people and kingdom that must be protected
"Sorry about that, jasmine just call me" he said and I just smiled at her so that she won't notice that I'm too nervous and about what I am thinking right now
"You know what?" she said and she touched my face. She looked at me closely and stared at my eyes
"Is there a problem?" I asked she seem to be suspicious of me now. Is she interrogating me this time? We're like in a movie of crime where there is an alibi, murder, suspect and killer
"Ah nothing, it just that you look like him" she said wondering and looking at me
"Who is it?" Did she also notice that I am Mr. Haver
"Ugh, nevermind. Maybe I'm just mistaken. I don't know if he has a twin or what. Anyway, I need to go now since jasmine wants to meet me" she said and washed her dish. She still has the same habit after eating, she will clean it immediately even if I haven't finished eating yet
"Ah yes sure. Wait let me send you home" I left my food and took the key but he just stopped me
"You still have a flight tonight and just take a rest now "he said to me and he took his bag. Bob and I are the only one here and suddenly a portal opens. That almost caught me at least madeline already left or else she might find out about this.
Noah and peter are here too, maybe they have news about the woman who keeps bothering me and if I ever found out who she is I'm really going to kill her for messing around with me

What did I just saw there? Why does he look like someone else when I saw him? Why I do feel like he's a prince or he is a king? I'm really having weird thoughts and feelings today so I just left Nicholas' house first because maybe what else can I think of, when I stay longer. Besides, yesterday he suddenly had a fever that I didn't know if he was obviously tired. While he was asleep, he always mentioned the name princess. Is she the woman he's been waiting for? Why do I feel like I'm been there? But I don't know with whom
Jasmine is calling me again
"Hello"
"Where are you?" - jasmine
"On my way back home"
"Someone wants to meet you today" - jasmine
"Who is it?"
"He doesn't want to tell his name unless you come here" - jasmine
"Where can I meet you?"
"At the company" - jasmine
Company? What is in there? And who wants to meet me now? I don't know anyone else but the only person I know is jasmine or I just forget about the people I met in college so maybe I almost don't know anymore
"Okay, have you eaten?"
"No, I haven't eaten yet Madeline. Let's eat lunch together " - jasmine
"How is the company?"
"You don't need to worry about it. Since it's fine and I didn't get to see Mr. Haver yesterday but his assistant just told me that his in a business trip which I don't know he has one because I saw his schedule and there is nothing on it " - jasmine
I have nothing to say because I was busy yesterday with our date Nicholas which who made my day off happy and memorable because I went to the amusement park again but this time I didn't go alone so I was very happy and I didn't think about what to do. So tomorrow, I have a lot of things to do and I will take care of Mr. Haver schedule
"Madeline, are you still there?" - jasmine
"Ah yes, I'll be heading there now"
"Take care going here. See you in a bit" - jasmine then she end the call
I will go straight to the company before going home. At least before I left at his home, he is okay now. His entire body was really hot yesterday and he had a fever already so he didn't want me to know about it and didn't even tell me so that I wouldn't have invited him yesterday so he could just rest
Someone is calling me again but this time an unknown number. Should I answer it or not?
"Hello, This is Madeline Thompson of Former CEO Dream Entertainment Agency. How may I help you? " I said instead of asking who he was because it is kind of bit rude if I ask that person like that
"It's me, Albert"
"Sorry, but you have dialed the wrong num ..."
"Albert Haver" I wondered who. Omg wait? Mr. Haver? I forgot to save his number on my phone. I was embarrassed and I didn't know if I would answer the call. Madeline, come to your sense and you keep forgetting some names and phone number
"Oh I'm so sorry Mr. Haver "
"No it's fine, have you eaten?" - Mr. Haver
He was also concerned about me, I smiled
"Ah, I haven't eaten yet and how about you?"
"I already have, how's your day off yesterday?" - Mr. Haver
"It's great and I have a wonderful day yesterday because I went in the amusement park with someone I know and he made it special for me that he told me that I shouldn't always go alone when everytime I want to visit a place which make me thought of being happy with his advice "
"Really? That's great to hear at least you didn't get bored on your day off " - Mr. Haver
"I have something to ask Mr. Haver, if you don't mind" because he might be offended by my question or maybe his privacy so maybe he didn't tell jasmine his schedule
"Ah sure go ahead" - Mr. Haver
"Jasmine told me that you're not around yesterday at the company and you went to a business trip which she doesn't even know because you don't have it on your schedule"
"Oh I really didn't put anything on my schedule since its private business trip and I didn't want her to be bothered about it. I also met someone and we went to the amusement park after the business trip. " - Mr. Haver
Oh we're the same, he also went to an amusement park. The person is very lucky to be with Mr. Haver
"Oh wait for a second, I just need to get something" - Mr. Haver then he put it on-hold
I remember that a man bumped into me yesterday but I didn't see much of his face so I didn't even know who he was and he helped me stand up then apologize to me immediately
"Prince Nicholas, we should go now" I heard in the background and I thought he was put on-hold. Prince Nicholas? Did I hear that right? Then tears suddenly fell which I feel broken and I don't know what is happening to me right now. I just heard the name Prince Nicholas but why my heart feels hurt? Do you I have connection to this Prince Nicholas? Do I know him?
"Do you think she'll find out the truth?"
"That is why Prince Nicholas, you should be careful if you don't want her to get hurt when she finds out everything" I think that is Mr. Bob voice and I don't understand about it. Who is pertaining at?
"You don't have much time to stay here"
"We should go back in time Prince Nicholas. You should think wisely and we're just protecting you on any danger, you might not know when will she is going to attack and remember she is a warrior and have an ultimate power which can control everything"
What am I hearing right now? This is Mr. Haver phone but why do I hear other people on the background especially Mr. Bob
"A warrior who can protect her kingdom and people then it's not her fault because her greedy evil elder sister who is also a princess been controlling her that is why the queen don't know anything about it"
"Don't you find it weird about her elder sister, maybe she is possessed by an evil spirit or goddess? Remember what she said that she is the goddess of destruction that will rule the kingdom and no one will gets in her way or else she will kill anyone that comes on her way"
"You're right Noah"
"I also remember when everytime she say something on the queen, she can't do anything but to follow the command of the goddess of destruction"
Goddess of Destruction?
"She almost killed you and you should remember the day she's not herself and really a different person. How could a queen kill her own people and especially you that is why she is forbidden to go back"
"Still she is my woman, the queen that we should protect. She is the protector of the people, warrior to fight for what is right and ruler of the kingdom" now this time I hear Mr. Haver voice and did I hear it right? My woman? Is he a king? This made me a little bit confused and feels anxious now. Then a silent on the phone which I can't hear anyone talking on the background
"Oh sorry, it took me a while" so I was right that he is the one talking, I was nervous and my whole hand was shaking. Mr. Haver, what is your true identity?
"Madeline" I don't know what I'm going to do or to say to him because my brain is so mess right now because of what I heard
"Madeline, are you still there?" just act normal and calm down
"Ah ye ... yes"
"Sorry I'm with a production team right now" - Mr. Haver
Will I believe him? Because I feel that what I heard is really true
"Prince Nicholas" I said
"Huh? Who? Prince Nicholas? That one" - Mr. Haver, please don't lie and tell me who you really are because I won't forgive you if you lie to me at this time and I will never ever going to talk to you
Is he pretending not to know? Or I'm just mistaken about it. Maybe I'm just tired today and I keep hearing a lot things now. But I feel like they are really talking. But I also want to know the truth
"I heard you guys talking because the phone is still on"
"Ah, albert your on cue now and the director is waiting for you" maybe I'm just tired now. He was on the filming site, why didn't he say that I was bothering him. Madeline, don't make any suspicious thought or else it will hurt you. And I didn't know that he was also an actor and at least I don't need to worry and think about it. But why do I feel like he is lying?
"You don't know what she will do to you if you still protect her"
"Prince Nicholas, you should go back in the kingdom"
"I need to go now Madeline, see you tomorrow at work" - Mr. Haver then end the call
The story doesn't fit at all, those voices are so real for me to hear it and all the emotions I'm feeling right now are mess up
Madeline, just relax and don't be bother by those kind of emotion maybe he is telling you the truth or maybe he is just busy in work. I'm trying my best to comfort myself just to fill positive vibes on my mind
That made me a little bit surprised when jasmine is calling again
"Where are you?? It's been like 1 hour 45 minutes and we still waiting for you" - jasmine
"I'm sorry, I almost forgot. I'll be there in 30 minutes. I promise"
"Did you hear that? So just wait at least 30 minutes more" she seems to be talking to someone
"Do you want to talk to her in the phone?" who could that be? Because I don't really remember meeting someone in college or I just didn't bother knowing them
"Oh yah sure" its a guy then jasmine handed the phone to him so that he could talk to me right now
"Hi, I guess you don't remember me" Oh my gosh, how did he know about that? Is he a mind reader? How come they can still remember me when I don't? Its almost 11 years by then I went to college
3 years has passed by and I guess I didn't pursue what I really wanted which I build my own company instead of being a photographer have studio and music room. Sad to say, my mom wants me to have a company which I can work with and my dad physically want me to be an idol, model or doctor but I didn't choose any of his opinion
"Are you still there?" the guy said to me. Oh sorry, I dazed off again
"Ah yes, you're saying??"
"It's me, Kyle Naville. You're friend in college who you met in 2nd year" Wait, is he the kyle who I always tell everything?
"You always talk about what you want and cry because you're dog died" I remember that one, when minmin died and I cried a lot because she is so special to me
"Then you want to be a photographer and build your own music studio. But I guess you have an entertainment agency now which I'm amazed and proud of you" he said and I feel so happy because he is the kyle I know for almost three years
"Omg, just wait me there okay?" I said and end call. I drove fast since it will only take 10 minutes for me to arrive at the company
Another incoming call but I'm in rush right now maybe I'll just answer it later after I arrive at the company
It ring multiple times because I'm driving fast because I want to meet kyle since it's been 11 years had passed by already
Finally, I arrived and park my car. Went out and walk fast
"Goodafternoon, Ms. Thompson. You have a guest waiting at the lobby" I just smile at the guard and hurried on the lobby
"Where is he?"
"Madeline" then I saw him standing up and approach. I run towards to him and hugged him tight which kyle is surprised
"Woah! You really miss me that much"
"Yes I really do, it's been 11 years since we didn't get to see each other"
"How's my two bestfriends doing? Seems to me you build a company"
"We're doing great as you can see"
"Where is your fiance, madeline?" kyle said which made me confused right now
"Fiance? I never had one and I've been single for my entire life"
"Really? I thought you two had been together for 8 years or 11 years until now. Or I'm just wrong about it"
Been together for 8 years? I never actually met someone because I've been lonely and my mom didn't introduce me to anyone yet.
"But I think I'm not, because you introduce me to him when we were still in college. I still remember the two of you were so in love to each other"
"Sorry kyle, I don't understand what you're talking about"
"What is his name again?"
Its really getting me confused which I don't know who I met 8 years ago or 11 years until now
"I forgot his name, is it alvin?"
"Alden?"
"Archie? Aldrich?"
"Why can't I remember his name?"
"Aaron? Alex? Andrew? Andrey?"
"Austin?"
"Oh its albe...." then jasmine cover his mouth
"Don't mind him madeline, maybe kyle is just messing with you" why do jasmine look trembling?
"Are you alright jasmine?" I asked because she is sweating right now
"Yes I'm fine, you're phone is ringing" then she pointed on my phone
Oh its mom, I think its her break time right now that is why she is calling "Just wait here, I need to take this call" then I distance myself from the lobby
"Mom! How are you?"
"I'm fine honey" then she put it on a video call. Oh, is she in the airport? Does she have a business trip today?
"Where are you mom?"
"Oh here? I'm in the airport sweetie" - mom
"Are you going somewhere? Business trip?"
"No sweetie, we're going to have family dinner"
Wait, did she just say family dinner?? Is dad with her?
"Darling, surprise!" - dad
Omg, daddy and I miss him so much
"Wah! Daddy!" my tears suddenly fell but I held it back and I thought I'm not going to see him for a long time
"Hi darling, daddy is here. How are you? I ask your mom for it so that I could spend my time with you since I cancel my business trip just for you darling and I told them that I want to meet my daughter and spend time with her" - dad
This time my tears suddenly fell and I miss daddy so much when I don't know what to feel right now
"Why is my darling crying? Is something bothering you?"
"Not really dad, I just miss you so much. It's been 11 years since I didn't get to see you and mom always call me"
"I'm sorry darling, daddy is busy but this time I made a promise that I will visit you"
I feel so happy that my heart burst into joy because I could finally meet dad for how many years
"Bring your friend with you and I want to meet her. Since she's been with for almost 11 years" - dad
"Oh also you're going to meet your fiance too. Since I invited him over to a family dinner. But don't get mad with daddy okay? I promise that I won't force you if you don't like him" - dad continued
Well I can't get mad at him nor hate him because this is the only time I could get to see him so I'll take this opportunity now
"Were headed home now and we're going to eat outside okay. Love you darling" - dad
"Sweetie, we miss you so much. Me and your dad going to stay for a week with you and I'll cook your favorite food at home" - mom
That is why I love mom and I miss her dishes
"See you sweetie, love you and its our surprise for you. Since you're birthday is next week and we want to celebrate it with you. Bye sweetie and take care" - mom
Then she ended the call and its really a surprise. Like I can't imagine that they're finally here with me and I'm not alone anymore at home
"Who's that?" jasmine asked
"Its mom and dad, they want me to invite you to a family dinner" I said and I don't see kyle around
"Where is he? Did he went home?" I asked and I didn't even get to talk to him
"Ah yes, he still have some things to do and went home already" jasmine said but she seem to be bothered
"Let's go now, my mom and dad are on their way home" I said and we went out to the company straight to the park
"You're mom and dad really miss you"
"I know right, I just can't believe that they really made a surprised visit" I said
"By the way, I wonder why kyle left which I should have invited him for the family dinner" I added
"He'll just meet you again for the reunion and we're going to meet all of them" jasmine
Wow, its my first time coming from a reunion but I still can't figure out what kyle said back there. I wonder what he meant by thay which keep me confused until now.
Did I even met someone when I was in college? One thing that bothers me the most is what he said that we were so in love to each other

When everytime I feel sad, pain, crying all night, broken and alone. I always end up going to the beach.
"Madeline, kyle texted me that we should meet him if we have free time"
That one place gave me so much reason to live with it.
"Madeline"
I think there is something I should know about that beach and why do I always go there?
"Madeline, you're not pay attention with me. Are you sick of me already?"
"Ahh...I'm sorry.. My mind is somewhere else. You're saying?" Why do I always feel off guard of my mind when everytime I'm in the middle of a conversation
"I was saying that" then her phone ring
"Just give me a moment, my baby is calling me"
"What do you want?" - jasmine then she put it on a loudspeaker
"Do you have time later?" - kenneth
"Why?" - Jasmine
She is really cold towards to kenneth and I can't blame her on it because she is playing hard to get to kenneth which means of letting her boyfriend do something to win jasmine back and court her everyday.
And that was kenneth doing right now, he start sending flowers to jasmine then singing lovely song that would make her fall in love again. It's like the old-fashioned way
"My parents want to have dinner tonight and told me to bring you" - kenneth
That made jasmine smile
"Okay, then fetch me at the house of madeline" - jasmine
"Sure, just wait me there" - kenneth
"Are you still busy with your work?" - jasmine
These lovebirds really going back and forth like nothing happened between the two of them
"Okay fine, see you later honey" - jasmine
She ended the call and try to breathe in then she is going to tell me now
"I think I won't be able to join your family dinner jamie. Tell your dad that I need to go to my boyfriend family dinner" jasmine said
"Don't worry my dad will understand" I said because I think she is going to make a fuss about it
We're almost there, I really miss my mom and dad so much. It took me years to get the time to spend with them again
"Where were you yesterday?" I went to your house, you weren't there then until morning you're still not there. Where did you sleep last night?" jasmine asked and I don't know which one to answer
"I also told you that, you must call me yet you forget to do so. But did you enjoy your day-off?" wait, didn't she just asked that awhile ago?
"Okay, enough with the question. First, I'm at the Amusepark with nicholas. Second, I slept last night on his house since its my responsibility to take care of him since he got sick and I can't leave him. Third, I couldn't get to call you because I enjoy my day on the amusepark then yes I enjoy my day-off. Now did I answer all your question jasmine?" I said and explained everything to her so that she won't worry about something and I know she been there for me all the time
"Omg, is that true? I'm so happy for you" jasmine suddenly hugged me which almost choke me because its too tight
"You finally arrived home Ms. Thompson"
"Thank you waze" I said
"Now you install something in your car" jasmine said then I laugh at her because I don't just use the waze since I know I quite know the way back home but now I forgot because I'm too excited to see my parents
"I just don't use it but somehow I did some changes" I said and the gate open then park my car on the garage. Jasmine already went out and get all my thinks on the back
"You seem to be happy my dear madeline" wait that voice again and I just didn't mind about it since I don't want my parents see me weird
"Then, smile all you can and as time will come you'll get into something interesting madeline" then I hear a laugh of a witch
"Madeline"
I don't know who am I hearing? It makes me feel scared like something is going happen eventually
"Madeline? Aren't you coming inside now?" jasmine said
"Ah yes coming" I said and went out of the car then run off to see my parents inside the house
"Mom! Dad! I'm here" I said excitedly
"Where is my cute little pancake? Daddy is here" then I turn around and I see him smiling at me. I run towards him and hugged him tight
"My little pancake really miss me and Dad also misses you. Jasmine, you're also here" he said
"Where is mom?" I asked

"I'll just go there and check who it was" jasmine said then I hugged my mom on the back because I miss her so much then dad did the same thing

"Mom, do you still remember that you always cook me something when I'm hungry especially the steak and beef" I said
"Of course dear, you always crave for it and now you can eat it again" that is why I love my mom so much
"Emily, were here and I brought you're favorite wine"

"It's my bestfriend in college" she said and I don't know that she has a bestfriend in college
"Eric, glad to meet you again. My wife always told me that you been good colleague and I guess the three of you met in college"

As I walk out the house then straight to the gate which I saw someone waiting outside

"Hi madeline, you're mom invite me for a dinner and so I brought something" he said and holding some food which made me laugh. He bought a lot or like the whole restaurant is here
"Come in" then we went inside the house which my mom is waiting for us to go in and my dad seems to be happy to see nicholas here. When did they get close like this?

"Oh sit here" my dad said and I feel like its a set up or something

We gather on the table and start to eat when my mom clinch her glass to get our attention
"What is it mom?" I asked when I about to drink my water and eat
"I would like to welcome the fiance of our lovely daughter which is Nicholas Angelo Oh" my mom said and that even made me surprised and the water went out a bit on my mouth then nicholas hand me a tissue

"Yes, I am" I said and don't know what to say right now. It seems new to me because my parents never introduced someone to me and jasmine always put me on a blind date
