Chapter 7: Inside a Game?
*Splash* Licht stopped at the river on his way to clean his body. He is already aware to his appearance, and slightly surprised how much his body changed, although he kinda expected this.
After he's done cleaning his body, he wear the clothes he stole earlier. A pair of black clothes and hood with boots.
His whole body got hidden, and his horn isn't that visible as long as he wear his hood. With this, he appeared to more like a nomal human being, that is if you disregard his poking out long tail.
Licht can use 〈 Shapeshifting 〉anytime he wants to change his appearance, however, he plans to go deeper in the dungeon to hunt monsters, thus changing his appearance isn't necessary. In fact, Licht find it fun to have a tail cuz he's enjoying how he can wiggle his tail as if it's part of his limbs.
Licht arrived at the 19th floor, known as the Large Tree Labyrinth. Licht got mesmerized by his vicinity. The walls, ground, and ceiling are made out of wood making it seem like the inside of a giant tree.
"Kirei" such an unexpected word slip from Licht, due to fact that there's no such an image in his past life.
As he started to move, his surroundings started to change. The ground is vibrating, then a few more moments, a humanoid lizardmonsters with red scales appeared from the ground. Before he knew it, he got surrounded by countless of Lizardman. Normal adventurer would get into trouble considering the numbers of the enemies. In contrary to Licht, he didn't even flinched, in fact, a wide grin formed upon his face.
" It's playtime "
As soon as those words resounded, Licht's sharp claws grow into his hand. The Lizardman monsters attacked him in both direction, surrounded by ring of monsters. But before their claws reached him, he swiveled his whole body together with his extended hands embodied by sharp claws
" *slash* " streaks of gold and silver formed in a round shape. Within just a second, countless numbers of Lizardman got their body decapitated. Some of them slashed into two, and some of them got their head cut off.

「 Notify! [+ 27 Magic Stone ] 」
The system notified Licht..
" Only 18 XP huh....That means, XP gained from hunting people is far greater than monsters "
Licht gained a total of 110 from those idiotic who attacked him earlier, 20 Xp per level 1 adventurer, and 50 Xp for level 2.
" This may take longer than I expected" Licht muttered. He just wanted to take a tour in deeper floor of dungeon and grind some Magic Stone while doing so. Thus facing small fry is just a waste of time for him.
" Well, this is a good timing, let's test it out" Licht's lips parted on their own as he fall into focus, he begun his chant.
"〈 Stride of Wind 〉" with his chant, he can feel that his body became lighter and easier for him to move.
"Ooohhh....this feels great"
Licht dash forward as he chop any monsters on his way. Licht's speed can't be followed by raw sight, especially to monsters who lack intelligence.
If you look from afar, you can only see a horde of monsters and a faint streaks into the air as the monsters vanished leaving only Magic Stones, it's as if the monsters are battling with invisible foe.
Licht continued to massacre the Lizadmen, no matter how many of the beast slaughtered, more took their place and attack Licht again. In Licht side, he gets to enjoy slaughtering them as get to use on his current body.

Thus time goes by, it's almost an hour since Licht started hunting and reached 24th floor. Licht encountered many different types of Monsters such as Vouivre, Mad beetle, Troll etc.
Licht seemed to not even tired despite soloing the 19-24th, in fact he enjoys battling such a beasts, well he find it more fun to play with humans who possessed intelligence. But Licht doesn't kill people without any reason, as long as they don't stand on his way, he won't view them as enemies.
Licht is kind as a comrade, but worst as an enemy, he proved it on his past life.
It'll take some time for monsters to spawn, thus Licht stopped at the front of entrance to 25th floor to examine his status.

Licht noticed that despite him battling for countless monsters in an hour straight, his stats only slightly raised. He's not complaining, as a matter of fact, he thinks that it's more fun that way.

Licht played a game during his childhood, and he can clearly remember the Game mechanics cuz he once get addicted to it.
Licht made a annoying face, thinking that he failed to realize untill now. Though he didn't regret anything, he doesn't care if he's inside a game or what.. It just irritating for him to fail comprehend such a small details, as a former title holder of " Phantom" he's ashamed.
But now, Licht finally found his answer. The reason behind his Stats, and his ultra-speed growth.
" In a game, there's a sole reason why you need to keep stronger. It is to prepare for the " Final BOSS"....In other words, that Old Man is up to something, Kukuku....sounds interesting to me"
While grinning and imagining the fun event to happen in the future, an familiar popped up at the of his head.

'A secret Boss? If the system notified me something like that, meaning that it's a Boss prepared by system just for me.'
Licht grinned feeling excited for what to come. Licht isn't a psychopath nor a battle maniac, however, he isn't interested in a boring battle. If he wants to fight someone, he prefer someone stronger, in that case he won't need to hold back. And now, given the opportunity upon him, he can't stop but to feel excited.

Without second thought, Licht accepted the System' s quest.
「 CONFIRMED. The player will now be transported to the BOSS Room. Good Luck. 」
As the system confirmation, Licht vicinity slowly turned into pitch-black, and before he knew it, he is already in front of 10 meter Gigantic Gate.
