Chapter 87

Claude had his eyes on me with a smirk. He was teasing me, right? I won't turn old just from thinking too much. Now that I think about it, humans grew up with time. I completely forgot about it since spirits don't change appearances. I don't know what to think about that. As I dived into my thoughts again, Claude pulled my cheeks causing me pain. He stretched them as if they were dough. After they were red, he let go of them.

"What are you doing? Do you want to make my cheeks bigger than they are? Should I say ouch?" I frowned.

"I told you to stop thinking about meaningless things. On the other hand, mother will make her appearance soon. You will know it when she will be here. By the way, she doesn't know about us," he put a finger over his mouth. "She isn't clever as you in terms of mysteries; she is more into scheming her way out from anything."

"Where are you going? You will leave me again," I couldn't help but pout.
