Nomin took off her white overcoat and revealed a black tank top and a pair of exoframes on her arms; and on her waist was a hilt without a blade. She pressed a hidden button on the exoframe's shoulder and small burst of white smoke shot out from the thin crevices of the exoframes.
The latches clicked open, and Nomin took off her exoframes one-by-one and set them aside, leaving her pale, slender arms exposed. Hushed whispers drowned the silence as Nomin walk towards Batu with calm steps - a stride like that of a silent killer.
The girls all wondered how Batu would face against the best nicknamed, 'the Queen of Fighters'. There were rumors that surrounded Nomin where she had faced against thirty Black Wolves alone and won. Given her reputation among other gangs, it sounded plausible.
Batu couldn't take his eyes off of her; there was something about Nomin that drew him in. Perhaps it was her eyes or her rather aloof aura. However, Batu couldn't exactly point out what drew his interest.
Nomin faced Batu with her cold blue eyes with nothing but killing intent. She cracked her knuckles with anticipation like a hunter ready to catch its prey. Nomin was going to give Batu a taste of what a true warrior was like.
"I'm Batu," He greeted with a nod of his head. "Let's have a great fight, yeah?"
Nomin didn't answer; there was no need to when faced against an opponent. All she needed to do was end this little farce quickly. It was unfortunate that Diah and Morena weren't skilled enough to perform their duties correctly. Now, it was up to her to finish what they couldn't.
Batu scratched his cheek with a tinge of awkwardness, 'I guess she only means business.' Batu lowered himself in a stance, waiting for Jin Mayleen to call the match.
"You may begin," She finally said.
Nomin appeared before him in mere seconds, slamming her foot against Batu's chest. He flew backwards, scraping against the wood floor. He hastily rolled out of the way before an axe kick came thundering down on his head.
'Fast!' Batu didn't have time to think before a foot smashed against his face, tumbling him back again. This woman really meant business.
He swerved and retreated, yet this woman always seemed lay a hit in. Her precision was like something of a robot. Batu could tell Nomin was gauging him, see how he would react.
Batu quickly shelled up as Nomin threw out lightning quick combos. Her hits were like mini explosions when they struck his body, and It began to overwhelm Batu.
It didn't last seconds before his defense broke down. Nomin pulled him down by his arm and struck his chin with a vicious knee. Batu coughed up blood as he stared up into the ceiling, laying flat on his back.
'Damn, she is really strong,' Batu clenched his and got back up again; he wasn't going to give up just yet.
Batu threw a high kick, she tilted to the side; a swift one-two, she weaved by them with ease; her eyes still remained the same as ever as if she wasn't taking this fight seriously.
Nomin spun around with an airiel kick, dropping Batu onto the floor again. She then picked him up by his leg and threw him across the room.
'Fuck...' Batu sat up. He wiped the blood off from his mouth as he watched Nomin walked towards him in leisure.
"Is this all that you amount to?" Nomin asked. "How pathetic."
Batu clicked his tongue and charged at her this time. An uppercut missed and a roundhouse blocked, and Batu was sent spiraling to the floor.
He got up once more and attacked again. However, Nomin simply redirected his strikes with her palms; her movements were like water, calm and smooth. Next thing he knew, Batu was met with with the floor for the third time.
"Urgh!" Batu groaned as Nomin slammed her foot against his chest.
"Such a dissapointment," Nomin rubbed her foot in mockery. Her frosty blue eyes glanced down at him with scorn as if he was mere trash. "Here I thought you would be much better than this. How you manage to beat Diah and Morena honestly baffles me."
Nomin was stronger than Diah and much faster than Morena. Her speed was far too much for Batu to handle, and he couldn't believe there was a girl like her that existed in this world. Batu suddenly felt the crushing weight of her foot pressed down on him even more.
"Give up or else I'll shatter one of your ribs," Nomin threatened as she added more weight onto her foot.
"Agh!" Batu grunted out in pain.
The cheers from the beauties grew louder; they were enthralled by Nomin's absolute dominance, and her magnificent skills in martial arts. It was no wonder she was nicknamed, 'The Queen of Fighters'.
"Get up, Batu..." Yu Mei gripped her pants tightly. This wasn't a fight; this was a total beatdown. She wanted to go out there and help him, but this was his fight; Yu Mei could only resign herself to watch.
"Give up," Nomin's eyes slowly narrowed. "Now."
"I...I," Batu spoke through struggled groans.
"You what."
"I won't!" Batu shouted. He gripped her leg and bit down on it as hard as he can. His teeth punctured into her skin, drawing out blood.
"You bastard!" Nomin quickly kicked him away in rage. She pulled out the hilt that was strapped to her waist and with a flick of her hand, the blade that was hidden away popped out, whistling through the air with a bright sheen. It looked like a katana in all of its glory.
'Fuck, I'm dead,' Batu's face sank. Now, it wasn't the time to fight; it was time to back the hell away or else he would meet an ugly end. Besides, he only needed to persevere until the minute was up.
And so he ran while Nomin chased after him. The deadly swings narrowly missed Batu as he ran around for dear life. Sharp steel made small cuts and tears across his clothes, hellbent on slicing him apart.
Nomin was giving the poor guy a fashion makeover free of charge; a true Picasso of fashion. Batu gave everything he had just to dodge those swings that craved his blood.
'Crap,' He found himself up against the wall with nowhere to run, and Nomin was getting closer. His eyes darted across the room to find anything that could help him, then he took a quick glance up above. A large painting. Bingo.
Nomin didn't want to waste anytime and thrust her Katana at him. At the last second, Batu tore the painting off the wall and used it as a shield. Batu couldn't help but shut his eyes tightly as Nomin's sword pierced through the painting.
'Huh? I'm not dead?' Batu opened his eyes and instantly noticed the blade barely touching his nose. 'Thank the ancestors for giving me this second chance.' Batu prayed silently.
Batu took this small opportunity to push back against Nomin, using the painting to temporarily block her vision. He dragged the painting down, forcing her to move along with it and gave her a hard-hitting kick smack-banged across her face.
"Enough of this!" Nomin shouted, stumbling back. She cleaved the painting in two halves and charged at him with flames of rage in her eyes.
The steel blade blurred as Nomin rapidly swung in controlled ferocity. Cuts suddenly opened up across his body as Batu tried to get away from her. Batu needed to do something. Anything.
"Um, I think she's trying to kill the guy," Diah spoke out. "Should we stop her?"
"No, I don't think that will be necessary," Jin Mayleen replied. She glanced down at her watch. Only ten seconds left.
"Seems like the lovely Khanate has faith in him," Morena added with a chuckle.
In a flash, Batu pulled his jacket off. Might as well make this one useful. Nomin thrusted her katana again, however, Batu was ready for it this time. He wrapped his jacket around the blade and threw another kick. She immediately dodged it.
Now, they were in an intense tug-of-war; Batu tried to force her sword away while she held onto it like it was her own child. He pulled back, but she pulled back even harder. They danced and tugged as they moved around in circles. Then, Nomin suddenly kicked him on the knee.
"Agh!" Batu knelt down with a loud groan.
Nomin ripped his jacket into shreds, freeing her katana from its grasp. She brandished her sword as she steadily walked towards him.
"Oi, let's talk about this," Batu said, scrambling backwards. He didn't have anything else to defend himself with.
"I believe it's time to end this now," She replied, raising her sword up.
"Woah, hold on!"
"It's too late for that now," Nomin swung down her sword.
"Batu!" Yu Mei cried out. She wouldn't be able to make it there in time to save him.
Meanwhile, Emiko's face drained of color. She didn't think it would end up like this. Sure, Emiko wanted him to lose, but not like this. Emiko closed her eyes and turned her face away; she didn't want to watch the gruesome scene unfold.
"Enough!"
The blade suddenly stopped at Batu's neck, and a tiny wound opened up as blood slowly trickled down onto his long sleeve.
