The Threat

Brooks was talking with Tory, Miguel, and Hawk as they walked out of the Dojo. Miguel looked over and saw Sam talking to Aisha in her car. Brooks looked over and glanced at Miguel before walking over and hopping in the backseat of Sam's car.

Miguel and the others were stunned.

Sam looked back and said "Get out." Brooks smirked and said "Why leave the top and windows down if you're not inviting people to get inside?" he looked over and said "Hey guys! Princess is giving us a lift today! Get in!" Hawk laughed and hopped in the back seat as well. Tory shook her head and walked over to Brooks as she said "Killer, I gotta go."

Brooks looked up and said "Work or your house?" Tory smiled and said "Both. House first." Brooks smiled and said "Need a ride?" Tory shook her head, Sam looked at her ever increasing passenger count and said coldly "All of you get out of my car!"

Hawk scoffed and said "Chill Princess, just drive everyone to my house. We need to go there anyway." Sam gripped the steering wheel tightly and said "Do I look like a taxi?" Hawk looked at Brooks and chuckled "Well, yeah." Sam grinded her teeth in frustration and Brooks shouted "Migs! Get in the front seat! Aisha take my spot." as he opened the door and pushed the kind-hearted Aisha inside before closing it.

Miguel got in the front seat awkwardly and Sam glared at Brooks as she said "Seriously?" Brooks leaned over and said "Still waiting for you to join Cobra Kai, princess." Sam frowned and said "Never." Brooks backed off and clicked his tongue saying "Never say never. I bet your dad would be ecstatic to hear you joined a real Dojo!"

Sam retorted "A Dojo that fights dirty? No mercy? Please." Brooks grinned and said "Who fought dirty? I don't know what you're talking about." he slapped the car and said "Driver, to Hawk's. Thanks." as he threw a 5$ bill onto Sam's lap and walked around the car to his bike.

Brooks sat down and Tory hugged him from behind as he turned his head and grinned. He kicked the stand and kept one foot on the ground as he revved the engine and lifted the front wheel up. He pressed the gas and brake and spun out 180 degrees on one wheel before speeding out of the parking lot.

Hawk was in awe and said "Fuck that was so cool!" Aisha giggled, Miguel was looking at Sam, and Sam was looking at the 5$ bill in her lap with a hateful expression on her face. She ripped it up and threw it out the car before obediently driving to Hawk's house.

Brooks dropped Tory off at her house and waited on his bike for her to change. The landlord passed by and Brooks glared at him with a sinister expression, the landlord paled and quickly walked away. Brooks chuckled and pulled out his phone, texting Miguel.

A few minutes later

Tory walked back out of her house with her work clothes and smiled at Brooks, who was waiting for her. She walked over and said "I already told you I didn't need a ride." Brooks grinned and said "Since when did I care for your lies?" Tory rolled her eyes and said "You can at least pretend to believe them." as she sat behind him and hugged his waist.

Brooks suddenly said "That guy ever give you trouble again?" Tory replied with a smirk "Does he even have the balls to think about it?" Brooks chuckled and said "You're probably right." before speeding off. He switched on the radio Carlos put in. Brooks heard the 80's music and smirked before singing along as he drove.

Tory giggled and said "Have you auditioned for American Idol?" Brooks sighed and said "They told me I was too good and it wouldn't be fair for the others. I was robbed!" Tory burst out laughing and Brooks smiled as he sped away.

He dropped Tory off and kissed her saying "Do you need me to pick you up?" Troy shook her head and said "I'm serious this time. You took the long way to get here, don't think I don't know your tricks. I can walk, it's good for the body."

Brooks rolled his eyes and said "Right. SURE I did. You didn't give me directions, it's a miracle we didn't get lost!" Tory was speechless and shook her head before kissing him again and saying "See you later, Killer~" Brooks smiled and said "See you later, Porker. Have fun at work!" Tory flipped him the bird over her shoulder and walked into the roller rink with a smile.

Brooks chuckled and sped off, going back home.

A few days later

Brooks parked in front of the Dojo and looked at the black 'Cobra Kai' themed challenger. He clicked his tongue and said "Fuck that's cool." He got off his bike and walked towards the Dojo, he passed a man, who was looking at him with interest. Brooks glanced at the man and felt he was somewhat familiar but couldn't figure out where he saw him from. He narrowed his eyes and passed by him, walking into the Dojo.

Brooks changed into his Gi and walked over to Miguel, Tory, Aisha, and Hawk. Brooks said "What's up." Miguel said "What do you think these guys should be named?" Brooks looked over and said "Ass-face and Douchebag. Easy." Hawk scratched his head in frustration and said "Damnit." Miguel laughed and fist pumped.

Troy stood next to Brooks and said "Hey." Brooks smiled and kissed her saying "Miss me?" Tory smirked and said "You're better than my other boyfriend." Brooks scoffed and said "Of course! That bean pole has nothing on me!" Tory giggled and the door to the Dojo opened.

The man, who Brooks saw outside, walked in.

Brooks looked at the man and Hawk said "Who's that?" Miguel shook his head and said "I don't know." The man walked towards the office and Brooks stepped out saying "This isn't the retirement home, old man." The man chuckled and said "You've got quite the spirit kid." Brooks said firmly "Leave." the man shook his head and Brooks narrowed his eyes before throwing a punch.

The man smirked and dropped his bag, he blocked the fist and twisted as he grabbed Brooks' wrist and pinned him to the mat. The man chuckled and said "You have the killer instinct but you don't know how to use it. I can help." Brooks said "In your dreams."

Brooks swung his free arm back and twisted his body, sweeping his legs out and tripping the man to the ground. The rest of the class backed off and gave Brooks some space.

Brooks was ready to finish and threw a punch to the man's face, when Johnny shouted "Brooks! Enough!" Brooks stopped an inch before the man's face and backed off. The man stood up and smiled "You've got some good students here, Johnny. Especially your boy. He reminds me of you."

Johnny glared at Brooks before looking at the man and saying "I said tomorrow." The man chuckled "Today, Tomorrow, what's the difference?" Johnny snorted and walked away saying "Fall in!" the class fell in and Johnny stood at the front of the class, the man standing next to him.

Johnny said "This is Mr. Kreese. He's just an observer. Pretend like he's not even here. Brooks 50 knuckle push-ups, Diaz warm them up." Brooks scratched his neck in frustration and went to the side before doing push-ups on his knuckles.

Kreese watched Brooks with interest as Miguel walked to the front and said "Front kick! Yeuh!" The class front kicked and shouted "Yeuh!" Miguel said "Front strike! Yeuh!" the class punched forward and shouted "Yeuh!" Miguel said "Side dab! Yeuh!" The class side dabbed and laughed.

Brooks looked at them and sighed before continuing to do his push-ups. Kreese frowned and Johnny said "What the hell was that, man." Miguel said "We're just messing around, Sensei. Besides we still have 11 and a half moths till the next All-Valley tournament."

Hawk added "Plus we already know how to kick ass!" Johnny looked at him and said "Oh yeah? There's nothing left to learn huh?" Aisha laughed and Johnny walked over saying "Is there something funny Ms. Robinson?"

Aisha said "You just wouldn't understand, Sensei." Johnny said "Try me." Brooks looked up at Tory and shook his head, Tory nodded and looked over at Aisha, who said "It's a snake-do." Brooks' face fell and he finished his push-ups before walking to the changing room, Tory followed him. Kreese looked over at Brooks before turning back to Aisha.

Johnny said "What's a snake-do?" Aisha and the rest of the class made a snake with their arms and hissed before laughing. Johnny was so angry he shouted "QUIET!" the class tensed up and Johnny said angrily "5 am tomorrow morning, corner of Fullton and Raymer. You don't show and you're off the team." he walked away towards the office and said "Class dismissed." Kreese followed Johnny into the office and the rest of the class went to the changing room.

Brooks and Tory walked out and passed the group while shaking his head. Tory hugged his arm and said "What do you want to do today, since we have time." Brooks looked at her and said "You don't have work?" Tory hummed and said "I do, but it's later. I got a few hours to spare."

Brooks said "I was going to look for a car if you want to come with." Tory looked at him and said "Don't you already have a bike?" Brooks smiled and said "It's cool but not convenient. A car is much more stable. I won't have a chance of having my Porker just fly right off in a car." Tory laughed and smiled as she said "Okay."

Brooks smiled and they left the Dojo, speeding away on his bike.

A dozen minutes later

Brooks parked and got off the bike. Tory looked up and said "Larusso's?" before looking at Brooks, who rubbed his nose and said "He might be a prick but he does have the best deals..." Tory laughed and shook her head before following him inside.

Brooks walked into the show room and looked around, feeling a little excited. Tory smiled helplessly at his excitement and held his hand, following him around to all the extremely expensive cars. Brooks felt like a kid in a candy store as he looked inside a new BMW, he sighed and said "What a beautiful car." Tory said helplessly "When did you become a millionaire?"

Brooks chuckled and squeezed her hand as he said "A man can dream can't he?" Tory giggled and shook her head. Brooks was looking at the car when he heard a voice saying "What are you doing in here?" Brooks turned his head to see Daniel and Amanda looking at him.

Brooks passed Daniel and said excitedly to Amanda "Can I test drive this car, Mrs. Larusso?" Amanda laughed and said "Nice to see you too." Daniel muttered "Did he just ignore me?" Tory rolled her eyes and said "Killer, are we really going to test drive?"

Brooks looked at Amanda and said "I don't know. Can we?" Amanda looked at Brooks, who pouted and gave her a pitiful look, she sighed and rubbed her head before saying "Fine." Brooks cheered and Tory smiled at his excited look.

A while later

Brooks was in the driver's seat, Tory was in the backseat and Daniel was in the front seat. Amanda stayed back to watch the dealership. Brooks started the car up and started driving on the road. Daniel was silent for a moment before saying "Why did you come to my dealership today?" Brooks lowered the radio and said seriously "Other than looking for an old Corvette Stingray, I want to know how Robby's doing."

Tory stayed silent and crossed her arms and legs, confirming her suspicions. She knew Brooks didn't come to Larusso's just for a car. She sighed and smiled, looking at him. Her smile turned sweet as she thought 'Hard on the outside, soft on the inside.'

Daniel looked at Brooks, who was focused on the road with a straight face. Daniel sat back and said "We only have 1 stingray in the trader's lot." Brooks shot Daniel a look before looking back at the road and saying seriously "You better treat him well. We didn't have a nice childhood. That whore of a mother is even worse than my dad if you can believe it."

Brooks turned and continued "I don't care who you are or what the problem with my dad is. If you hurt Robby, I will hurt you." as he looked at Daniel dead in the eyes extremely serious, Tory said "Brooks!" Brooks raised his hand and stared at Daniel as he said "Maybe we don't see eye to eye, but he's still my brother. I know you're not afraid of me and I'm not saying you should be, but I will do everything I can to disrupt your life."

Daniel looked at Brooks and smiled lightly as he said "Robby is lucky to have a brother like you." Brooks nodded and said "He doesn't know how much I've sacrificed for him." he turned back to the road and drove back to the dealership before getting out of the car and saying "We didn't have this conversation. Robby never knows, understand?"

Daniel smirked and nodded saying "Don't worry about Robby. He's in good hands." Brooks nodded and said "I hope so." before walking away, dragging Tory along with him. Daniel watched him go silently and Amanda walked over saying "How did it go?" Daniel sighed and said "He's not a bad kid, but he's just like his father."

Amanda smiled and said "High praise for a Lawrence there Mister." Daniel chuckled and said "Well, let's just say I respect his decisions. Also get someone to bring out the Stingray." Amanda raised a brow and said "The old one that was just redone? You're giving it to him?"

Daniel smiled and said "Selling. Plus it was practice for the team anyway, sell it for 5." before walking off, Amanda smiled and muttered "Some practice, it cost more than the car was worth..."

Brooks was walking around the trader's lot with Tory, who said "Are you angry?" Brooks sighed and said "Is it obvious?" Tory smiled and nodded, Brooks scratched his neck and said "I just.. I don't know. It makes me uncomfortable to know that Robby's with him."

Tory gave her opinion "Maybe it's better that he's there?" Brooks sighed again and looked upset, Tory squeezed his hand and added "If he's happy, that's all that matters right? Plus if he lived with you, I wouldn't be able to come over all the time!" Brooks chuckled and smiled at Tory as he said "That's a big part of the reason, is it?" Tory smiled slyly and nodded.

Brooks laughed and shook his head as he said quietly "Thank you." Tory leaned her head on his shoulder as she said "We rely on each other, remember?" Brooks kissed her head and nodded saying "I remember."

Suddenly, Amanda walked over and said "Brooks! Over here." Brooks smiled and walked over with Tory as he said "Hey, how's it going, Mrs. Larusso?" Amanda smiled and said "Good, are you going to introduce me to your girlfriend?" Brooks smiled and said "This is Tory. Tory this is Mrs. Larusso."

Tory smiled politely and said "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Larusso." Amanda smiled and said "Ah! You're both so cute! Daniel told me you wanted the Stingray?" Brooks nodded with a smile and Amanda smiled as she said "Here she is." before pointing to the side.

Brooks turned and his eyes widened. The Stingray was matte black with a yellow stripe on the side. In the middle of the stripe was a yellow circle with a matte black number '01'. Brooks almost lunged at the car but said "How much?" Amanda said with a smile "Daniel said 5, but I can see about getting you a family discount."

Brooks took a deep breath and said "You are an angel, Mrs. Larusso." Amanda laughed and said "Follow me, we'll get the paperwork done." Brooks dragged Tory away and followed Amanda, like an excited kid.
