"HAHA! I'm finally here! The biggest port city of the Alphore Kindom, Aalto Adrian! Wait for me, animal ear paradise! Or should I say Hyuu continent!? Hahahaha!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as I look at the magnificent view that this huge city is atop a small cliff I found.
"That said though, this is the first time that I'm going to enter a city without sneaking in disguised as a human. It sure is making me nervous…" I said loudly as if expecting a response from someone.
I bounced off the cliff down to the forest and made my way to the main road leading to the city. Soon, I heard the sounds of battle when I was nearing the road.
"Oh? Is this it? Is this going to be my first isekai trope? The "save a carriage from bandits and turns out the owner of the said carriage is a noble lady" trope!?" I whispered to myself as I turned on my :Unique Skill: Absolute Transparency: and ran to where my sharp ears heard the ongoing battle as I pass through anything including the magic in the air while the skill hides my presence.
I was preparing my claws to jump in the coolest timing when I stopped at my trails after actually seeing what was going on. It's a massacre. No, don't get me wrong, it isn't the soldiers(there aren't even any) that are being killed but the bandits. Don't get me wrong again, they look like nobles alright but this… is certainly different from what I expected.
A loli? is standing on top of the carriage while shooting out wind magic or whatever while her maids from inside the carriage themselves are shooting with bows.
It… was a bloody scene. More than two dozen of bandits were killed while the rest just ran away and the loli? followed. That's not even the worst of it, no. While the maids looked at the scene scared and hesitant, the loli? doesn't even look like she cares. She's just… completely indifferent. Like she's just taking a boring stroll while thinking of nonsensical things. That's what she looks like. Nothing, not even a spec of emotion in her eyes.
After analyzing what was happening, I immediately yeeted myself out of there. Terrified to the point that I forgot to use my Appraisal skill. There's just no way I'm staying anywhere near someone so dangerous. I'll just enjoy my stay at Aalto Adrian and my ride to the Hyuu continent. No way I'm going to be near someone like that.

After making my glorious retreat to the Aalto Adrian, I set up a camp beside the road and slept there. Of course, I also used my Unique skill on my camp, can't have some stoopid bandits raiding me. I slept peacefully ignorant of what just passed me in the form of a luxurious carriage that will absolutely surprise me by the time I reach Aalto Adrian.
"Oh what a long line that is! As expected of a trading city!" I said to myself as I lowered my hood exposing my messy black-purple hair and my antlers and wolf ears, earning me a few glances and whispers. I was wondering why no one was paying more attention to me when I focused on my hearing a little more.
"Hey, did you hear that? An actual elf will apparently be staying in the city. Dang, I want to see her," A young boy said as he leaned on the older guy.
"Yeah, the last time an elf that isn't just some variation of the race was seen in this continent was apparently three decades or so back then. I wasn't born just yet but I heard it was quite chaotic since the nobles didn't know how to respond. Makes you real curious about her, doesn't it?" The older dude said.
From there I stopped paying attention to their conversation because I was curious as heck. I mean, it's an elf! And the true elf of this world according to these guys too! Though I don't know what that means because I only know of stuff like the two elven races like the generic Elf and their hated race Dark elf. Hey, it's a different world so, of course, I can't be right about everything when I have only been wrong about the races so far.
That said, LET'S TAKE A PEEK!… that sounded wrong but anyway!
This time, I focused mana on my eyes and activated another of my skill :Magic Vision: the skill allows me to use the mana in my field of vision as 'eyes' kind of like some boar dude's "spatial awareness" but limited to a dozen meters in my field of vision.
The moment I did that, my head was filled with information that I didn't want and made my headache. Not from the use of the skill but rather, from the information that the thing gave me.
WHY IS THAT LOLI? HERE!?
No, thinking carefully, it should not be that strange that she is here BUT KNOWING THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT ANY LESS STRESSFUL AND SCARY. Who knows what she would have done to me had I not used my dang Unique Skill!? Thank the heavens past me was smart enough to ask for something that could hide my presence to such an extent that she didn't notice. AAAAAAAAAAA
Anyways, calm down. There's no need to panic. It's not like she knows me. Right, I'll use my Appraisal skill.
(Apprai-) TIIIIING my danger detection skill which is in level 10, borderline evolution, rang inside my head as if I was inside the Bell of Good Luck from China. That interrupted my skill casting. What the heck? That doesn't even match to the reaction this skill gave when I killed that sleeping dungeon master I came across down there in that dangerously hard dungeon. What the heck?
"W-what was that? Just attempting to use appraisal is already dangerous? What the hell is she?" I whispered to myself.
I mean, so far there has been no one that has ever noticed my appraisal when I use it on them while I can notice theirs. Dang, thank goodness I had that skill.
Notice: Skill :Danger Detection 10: evolved to :Beastial Instinct 1:
… and it evolved…
Yeah, let's not mess with her.
Anyway, I wonder what this new skill does? Hmmm
I just hope I'll never have to see her again…
Anyway, I wonder what this new skill does? Hmmm
And that, right there, is a flag.
