Chapter 14 - Plan

"Come again?"

"C-Can you teach me how to control my herrscher power?" She stuttered, to which I sighed in response.

"Let me get this straight. You don't even know me, but you wanted me to teach you how to control your herrscher power?" Mei nodded her head.

"What if I end up taking away that herrscher power instead? Do you ever consider that? You are essentially telling me that you haven't gotten your power under control, which mean I still has a chance on absorbing and make it mine. Did you know that?" Though her eyes now filled with uncertainty, she still nodded before shaking her head in response to my last question.

To begin with, she didn't have any prior knowledge in regards to Herrscher other than the time when she had her first awakening incident. When Theresa had invited her to St. Freya High which the latter said it was an academy where they teach valkyrie how to fight, she quickly agree after a bit of thinking. One of the reasons was she wanted to know more about herrscher.

She didn't want the tragedy of that time to repeat itself again. And as if the God hear her wish, She met the guy that saved her. Though she knew he isn't any ordinary, she didn't expect for him to be a herrscher like her. Plus, he didn't face any problem when using his power. She did heard of this from Himeko herself when asked.

"Then, let me ask you again. Are you sure you wanted me to teach you how to control your herrscher power?"

"Yes." He had once saved her, a stranger, she believes he has a kind heart. Furthermore, they will be living in the same dorm starting today. Even if he were to rejects her now, she can ask him again another day. She had no choice, he was the only key closer to her. She isn't even sure that St. Freya High hold the knowledge she needed. They might have information about herrscher, yes, but that's it. What she wanted isn't just knowledge about them, but also the knowledge on how to control those uncontrollable power of hers.

She might sounds greedy, but she didn't want the incident from happening when there's a chance to stop it right in front of her.

"Fine, I can help you with that. However, you own me a favor. You don't think I will help you for free, do you? For now, you can be rest assured. I will call you back when the preparation is ready." With that, Mei nodded before walking toward where the other girls is.

Letting out a sigh, I rests my chin on the palm of my hand while deep in contemplation. In theory, I do have a way to help her. But that will require a place where it won't matter even if a nuke exploded on the spot. If talking to herrscher persona didn't work, there's still the forceful way. Beat it to submis—Cough, at least make it willingly lend a hand.

Also, I can simply take the gem out of her body and make it mine. But that isn't what that girl had in mind, Mei wanted the power to be under her control. Plus, I don't need that gem as I can already control lightning as I pleased. If I can train her and achieve some results, it will benefit her in the long run.

But here comes the problems. Firstly, where do I find this convenient 'place where people won't mind if a nuke dropped on it.' if I have to say, St. Freya High, rather Schicksal definitely have the technology where they can easily send someone to a virtual world. That's definitely the place I'm looking for. It won't matter even if I massacred the people in that virtual world as they are nothing but a work of A.I.

There's no way they will graciously lent it for me even if I ask them. That only leave me with creating my own Imaginary Space. With herrscher power of the void, I can easily accomplish it. I also have plenty of experience dealing with space and different dimensions.

The second problem being will the forceful method work? Hypothetically it works, Mei will become the Herrscher of Thunder much earlier than the game timeline. Having a herrscher on my side is definitely a good thing in the future battle against the Honkai, or I wish it won't come to that but just in case.

Well, if it comes to that, I will have to use my full power and it won't be pretty. For the Honkai that is.

Once Himeko was done guiding the girls to their rooms, she couldn't handle it anymore and ended up calling me from the living room to help her in moving their stuff to their room. She definitely have the strength to do it, but she's just mentally tired. She couldn't baby-sit them.

Since I don't have anything else to do, I don't see any problem helping them as it will also benefits me in getting closer to them. When Kiana saw me easily carrying two heavy boxes on top of each other with only one hand before putting the boxes on my shoulder, she became agitated, thinking I was taking all the spotlight as she immediately tried to do the same.

The results obviously end up with the boxes almost fell and crush her under their weights if not for the boxes halting in the air by an invisible force. She quickly turned her head and realized it was me which put her in a depressed mode.

I exchanges looks with Mei which she swiftly understood what I'm trying to signal her before walking toward the depressed Kiana to comfort her. While that was happening, Bronya was cleaning her room and Himeko drinking without a care in the living room. Sneaking a peek at them easily with my power from Kiana's room after putting the boxes down, a smile donned on my face.

***Author's Note***

If you didn't know, I was sick in the past few days so I decided to take a break so that my body is fully rested. So you can say now that I'm healthy, I'm back.
