Kaico and Enderly were forced to stay hidden for a whole day, when at last Kaico knew they could not wait longer she dug herself and Enderly out. She knew that it would be safest if Enderly teleported them to a farther location, but Enderly was still gravely injured. Instead, she helped them out of the hole and towed them along away from the house as quietly as possible. It was dusk, and soon the monsters would emerge from hiding, she knew they didn't have long.
"You will have to help me find the End portal," she told Enderly. They nodded and did a small spin around. Then when they had completed this motion they let off a chirp. That was when she knew they were tracking something with certainty.
"Can we make it?" She asked anxiously.
Enderly seemed to nod just slightly, but then suddenly droop forward. Kaico wasn't sure she was strong or big enough to catch a falling Ender. Thankfully Enderly regained their balance.
"We'll just have to get there as soon as we can," Kaico said with steel in her eyes.
They walked and walked toward something that Kaico couldn't see but Enderly was so sure of. When set in Kaico refused to stop going. Though she knew this was dangerous. Thankfully for some reason or another, the monsters seemed to give the two of them space, perhaps they were afraid to mess with an Ender.
Only one brave spider crossed their path, Kaico, somewhat mournfully was prepared to deal with it, but as it took its leap at her it was knocked away. Kaico startled, however she saw no one around. Enderly however had paused.
"What is it?" She whispered to them.
Then Kaico picked up a faint noise.
"Other humans," she muttered, "we have to go quickly."
Enderly unfroze and lead them onward, not quite as quickly as Kaico wanted. Her ears picked up faint voices, but she wasn't sure how close they were to them.
Just when Kaico was worried that they would run into the humans Enderly lead her to a cave. Together they descended to the cave floor. They walked along until they found what they had been looking for.
Stone brick stood in a firm wall, this, Kaico knew, was a stronghold.
Enderly seemed to pick up a tiny bit of energy even being close to it.
They skirted it until they found the entrance.
"Ready?" Kaico asked.
Then they walked in. It was damp and dark, Kaico tried not to feel discomfort, but it was an eery place. She felt as though the walls were alive.
That was when the first one came out.
A tiny sliver fish jumped at her. Kaico screamed and batted it away. Unfortunately, this action woke them all up. They swarmed toward Kaico and Enderly.
"We gotta run!" Kaico shouted.
Both Enderly and Kaico took off, but once again at the slowed pace. The fish bit at Kaico's feet, but Enderly seemed to stand between them, blocking them off.
"Are we nearly there!" Kaico shouted, kicking at a fish.
Suddenly they broke into a room. It had a bright ring around it. But the center was empty.
Kaico looked desperately between it and the empty space.
"How do we activate it Enderly!"
But Enderly screeched as the fish bit at them.
"Hey, it's me you want!" Kaico shouted at them.
They seemed to turn away from Enderly and toward her. She felt a stab of fear, there was so many.
"I don't know if anyone can hear me, but we really need this portal activated! I just need to help my friend who belongs in the End!" She shouted at the surroundings, "please!"
There was silence, then suddenly a huge clunk, strange discs seemed to appear in the slots around the portal, then it was filled with glowing stars.
Fighting her way over she shouted as loud as she could, "come on Enderly we're going home!"
Both of them managed to jump into the portal, and at once they spun off into space.
They landed on a yellowish island.
Kaico was still screaming until her heart slowed down. She had been injured by the fish. Enderly on the other hand seemed to be better already. They did a happy spin and teleported a couple of blocks and then back.
"I'm glad you're doing better already," Kaico rubbed her forehead.
That was when they heard a sound.
"I was wondering why they came here panicked, I suppose you must be the reason." Said a female voice, standing there, a few blocks away was the Queen.
