Y/Ns POV

I woke up with Jakes arms wrapped around me, relaxing when I remembered it was a Saturday. I hugged him back, breathing him in. His eyes slowly opened and he grinned at me, I knew we would have many more dates to come...

*Ok so here is quite a big time skip just so the story can keep progressing and be interesting *

1 month later:

I nervously tapped my foot on the floor of the elevator of the 99th precinct. I was meeting jakes friends for the first time. He had wanted me to before but I had stalled it as long as possible In case it went really badly.

Jake looked down at my foot and then looked into my eyes signalling to me it would be fine.

The doors slid open and jake took my hand tightly and squeezed it before clearing his throat. Before he had managed to get a word out a shortish man practically sprinted over to us and started talking excitedly

"SO do you want kids? Because i want for you to give the world jakes children, I mean he needs a legacy left behind like all legends and-"

"CHARLES calm down and stop harassing y/n"

He turned to me, "y/n this is Charles Boyle he can be a bit...much"

Charles nodded and smiled before calling everyone over.

The captain was pretty monotone but I really liked him

Terry was super nice and welcoming

Rosa was tough but she seemed to like me and me and Amy got along immediately

I was absolutely terrified of Gina but Amy assured me I would get used to her.

Scully just waved and when Hitchcock came to say hello jake dragged me away, and told me to thank him later. My questions we're answered after at least 4 pervy comments from Hitchcock...

After a hour of meeting and catching up, I said goodbye to everyone, including jake who had to finish his shift, and left to go home.

I was only working part time now until I found a better job that I enjoyed so I had quite some time off.

Later jake knocked on the door and I flung it open before jumping into his arms and wrapping my legs around his waist

Laughing he kissed me as he came into the apartment shutting the door with his foot and sitting down with me still a wrapped around him,

He pulled away and grinned at me, "they a really liked you!"

I breathed a happy sigh of relief, "I really liked them aswel jakey"

He reached for a paper bag he brought in but I was so busy eating his face off I didn't notice.

"What's this?"

"This m'lady is a banquet" he said in his dumb posh voice and I laughed. We ate while watching diehard 2, and I had to admit after seeing it 5 times already, it was growing me.
