twenty two

After weeks of planning, Jake and y/n set a date for the wedding, and before long the day had come.  The wedding was going to be on a beautiful street, covered in fairy lights.

Y/Ns POV

Me and Jake woke up as our alarm went off, early. It was Saturday the 22nd of June and today we were getting married! I turned to Jake who had the cutest smile of excitement on his face. I leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. He wrapped he arms around me tightly and rolled me on top of his chest as I squealed. I lay on top of him, happily, his arms still tightly around me. "Happy wedding day!" Jake whispered and I shivered with excitement.

I tried to roll off Jake, but he refused to let me go, which made me laugh.

"Jakeee I gotta go get ready for our wedding"

"Or maybe we could just stay in bed all day.....?" Jake said in a baby voice, " no, I know we have a wedding planned" he continued in mock disappointment.

I grinned at him and kissed him quickly on the lips before removing his arms from around me, jumping out of bed, and skipping to Callie room.

I gently woke her up and lifted her out of the cot. She rested her head on my shoulder sleepily and I carried her back to Jake.

"Callie day goodbye to dada, for afew hours"

"Ba" she said happily and me and Jake laughed

Jake leaned up and tickled her tummy quickly, "bye bye sweetie, I'll see you later!" He turned to me and kissed my cheek, "and I'll see you later too....."

I kissed his nose quickly before taking getting changed and leaving with Callie.

We were planning to go to Amy's where her, Gina and Rosa would help me and Callie with getting ready. Our dresses were already round hers.

I stood in front of the mirror, staring at myself in awe. The dress was even more beautiful than last time I tried it on, the waist cascading into a beautiful skirt that trailed behind me gracefully. My makeup was natural, just enhancing my features beautifully and my hair was down with a diamanté clip, keeping it off my face, with afew lose strands over my face.

Amy and Rosa stood behind me, Amy looking excited I and Rosa smiling slightly.

"Thanks guys" I said gratefully and Amy grinned, "no problem, you look amazing"

Rosa nodded in agreement.

Gina walked into the room, "I PRESENT TO YOU...CALLIE PERALTA" I watched ecstatically as my baby toddled into the room in a tiny dress. She looked so cute and had a flower in her short hair.

"Gina, she looks amazing!"

Gina shrugged "enigma loves dress up...what can I say? B T DUBZ you look greattt!"

I smiled at her. Checking the clock, "well it's almost time guys!" They all nodded and the three of them left me and Callie.

She grinned up at me as holt entered, "y/n the service just started, may I say you look very nice." I smiled gratefully at him. Holt was the closest thing Jake had to a father, and frankly to me aswel. He was going to walk me down the aisle.

Charles was Jakes best man, and terry was going to help Callie down as a bridesmaid, along with Rosa, Amy and Gina.

Terry came in smiling at me reassuringly and took Callie to take her down the aisle

Jakes POV

My heart swelled as I saw Callie fumbling towards the front row, Terry helping. I was so proud of my beautiful daughter. Her and terry eventually sat in the front row and I suddenly saw y/n.

She looked stunning. I couldn't believe I was marrying her.  She smiled at me shyly as Holt took her arm and they came towards me. It felt like no one else was in the room, I was completely transfixed on her.

Eventually she reached me and I beamed at her happily.

Y/Ns POV

Jake took my hands as I stood opposite him, and started his vows,

"Y/n... You are easily the best person I know. You constantly make me feel loved, cared for and like I'm the luckiest man in the world. But more importantly you make me laugh, like no one has before. When I turn and see you next to me, I feel so incredibly happy. I never thought I'd find 'the one' but I can tell I have,

I love you"

I grinned through my tears and cleared my throat,

"Jake Peralta, Ive never experienced something like this before. My heart literally bursts everytime I see you, and you never stop giving me butterflies. The way you look after me, I am so thankful for. You're sweet, and kind and the most hilarious person I know. Every day feels like a dream, and I can't believe I'm with you. You make all my insecurities almost completely disappear because it's nearly impossible to comprehend that you love all of me as much as I love all of you."

He smiled at me as his eyes glistened with tears.

"Jacob Peralta do you take y/n as your wife?"

"I do"

""Y/n do you take Jake-"

"Of course I do!" I cut in and Jake pulled me into him, kissing me softly but sweetly.

My ears rung with applause as me and Jakey stared and each other, completely full of joy
