Chapter 21

Elijah is four years old already, these past few years have gone by like nothing, and I can't believe he is already four. I graduated from college but I haven't started work yet, the boys are on tour, Elijah and I are with them. We haven't been with them the whole time, just for the American leg, which also happened to be the last leg. It has been a lot of fun.

Right now we are on our way into Colorado and are actually spending a few days here, not my idea. Even though it's weird to be back here it's also kinda nice. Rori still lives here so she is very happy that we are visiting, honestly I think she is more happy to see Elijah than the rest of us.

"I was thinking," Zach states as we cuddle in the back of the tour bus with our little toddler playing on the floor.

"Wow I didn't know you could think," I smirk.

He slaps my arm lightly and continues, "you should get in touch with your parents". I guess he could feel me tense because he talks again, "you don't have to but Princesses it's been four years, maybe it's time".

I never respond to what he said, I just cuddled into him, watched our beautiful son play on the floor, and thought about if I wanted to see my parents again.

About an hour later the bus had stopped at the venue and we all headed inside. Right before sound check I pulled Zach aside, "I am going to head out, I will be back before the show starts , Cas is watching Elijah". Cas is the boy's photographer but she watches Elijah all the time.

I could tell he had a guess on where I was going but all he said was, "ok, be careful," and gives me a quick peck on the lips.

"I love you," I tell him.

"I love you," he repeats before I turn and walk out of the building. I jump into the Uber I called and tell him my parents old address.

When the guy parks outside of the house I jump out and nervously walk towards the front door. *knock* *knock* *knock*.

A few seconds later the door opens and my mom is stand in the door way. "Hi mom," I say quietly.

"Olivia?" She questions.

"Um yeah it's me," I say before she pulls me into a tight hug.

"Oh baby I missed you so much," she says as she starts to cry.

"I missed you too," I whisper with tears running down my cheeks.

Once we put ourselves back together we sat on the couch and started talking, "I'm sorry I am only coming back now".

"It's okay, I'm sorry I made you choose, it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. What have you been up to?" She asks.

"Well after I left, I moved in with Zach and I went to college, right now the boys are on tour, that's why I'm in Colorado," I said deciding to leave the kid part out for now. "What about you guys? And where is dad?"

"Your father is at work and we have been the same, nothing really has happened since everything happened. What did you major in?"

"Psychology," I answered.

"I'm glad. Do you want to go out to dinner with your dad and I tonight?"

"I wish I could but the boys are performing tonight, you guys could come and then we could go to dinner tomorrow night," I offer.

"We would love to come to the concert and we are having dinner with your grandparents tomorrow night, you and Zach are welcome to join," she says.

"I will talk to him about it but I am sure he will be happy to," I tell her.

"How did you get here?"

"Uber".

"Ok well your dad get home in a few minutes so how about we drive you back to the venue and hang out before the show?" She asks nervously.

"That sounds amazing," I say happily. We talked some more before my dad got home.

"Sweetheart, what's for dinner?" He asks not noticing me.

"Dad," I say announcing my presences.

"Olivia?"

"Hi dad," I say getting up and hugging him tight.

"Olivia," he sighs hugging me back.

Almost immediately after that we left to go see the boys, on the way I texted Zach and told him they were coming back with me.
