Mordred Vs. Argen Finale

"Hah… Hah… Hahahahahahaha! This is all you have! I've been training for years upon years upon years just for you to be this weak father!" Mordred screamed as he looked at Arthur, a stumbling man who was bleeding out of several parts of his body.

"Father? I have no son like you, you must be mistaken little terrorist…" Arthur replied as he pounced up and slammed his sword Excalibur against Mordred's sword, breaking it.

"This proves you're not my son, considering my son should at least have a good sword." Arthur said as Mordred looked around for a weapon, only for nothing to be in sight.

"You must be the genius mother always talked about, in that case… I can use it!" Mordred said suddenly disappearing and reappearing behind Arthur, his eyes glowing gold.

"Sorcery?" Arthur said as he managed to block Mordred's punch with the blade of Excalibur.

'Huh?' Arthur thought as he suddenly felt weak.

"So this is your life energy… It's so strong," Mordred said smiling wildly as he stole more and more of Arthur's life energy.

'I'm… Dying?'

'No, You are the once and future king,' A voice said in his mind as suddenly, like a switch being flipped on, Mordred started to scream.

"Ahh!" Mordred screamed and grabbed the side of his face as he felt it burn, it continued to burn as Arthur stood up, his energy regained.

"Hmm… You can have Camelot, I am king elsewhere, a better place," With these words a huge portal opened up. Arthur smirked as he walked into it.

On the battlefield all alive soldiers immediately disappeared in golden light, including the knights of the round table.

"Hmm… Well I did enjoy being your friend for a short time Mordred, such a shame this is what you became…" Lancelot said sighing as he walked through the portal.

'What I became? How dare you! Peasant! Commoner filth!' Mordred yelled in his mind and reached out his hand, snatching as much life energy from Lancelot as he could in that small second.

'Damn… I wasn't able to kill him…'

It took three days for Mordred to heal and wake up from his sleep.

He was still covered in dried blood, only this time he was alone. Everyone of the citizens in Camelot, except a few that Arthur hadn't deemed worthy, were all gone.

Mordred killed every last living being left, leaving himself as the only one with a beating heart.

"Was that all you could do? I raised you all this time just to lose everything… What a disappointment you ar-"

"Ahhh! Shut up!" Mordred yelled flashing toward Morgana and grabbing her by the throat and pressing down.

"You! You are holding me back!" He yelled as he absorbed Morgana's life energy, his eyes glowing a bright gold as the witch was drained of life faster than she was able to counter.

'Ah… So that's how it happens huh?' She thought as she closed her eyes, breathing her last…

——

"Your scars show you're an opponent I should be weary of… I will fight with my full force from now on," Mordred said as he ripped off the robe, including the loose shirt under it.

Mordred flashed forward, slamming his knee into Argen's chest as he sliced his blade across his neck.

The instant stop of his sword came as a surprise as it shattered. Another sword gone. This was the first time he had ever lost two swords in one fight.

'Who is thi-' Mordred's thoughts were interrupted by a knee crushing his nose and sending him flying back into the throne.

"Hah… That hurt, is this a sign you're fighting seriously?" Mordred said as he looked up, a foot slamming into his face and forcing his head into the seat again.

Mordred felt a knee slam into his throat, making him choke as he gained awareness and pushed Argen off.

Argen grabbed hold of Mordred's wrist as he was launched off, using the momentum to come back down and slam his fist into Mordred's face.

'What… Is this?' Mordred thought as he was thrown across the room.

——

"Your anger is a problem Argen," Scathath said as Argen slammed his fists into the stone, destroying it and making it denser and denser.

"Hah, my anger is what gave me the ability to kill those gods, it's not a problem," Argen said snapping at Scathath and looking at her with an annoyed look.

"Your anger is good in battle, but also a terrible weakness, it's easy to exploit, there was one time though… One time I saw that angry form do good, it was just a taste, but it is powerful… It's too bad you are wasting that."

*Bang*

Argen breathed in and looked at Scathath. "Are you an idiot? What part of this form is bad? I'm so powerful I could even beat you…" Argen said as red energy swirled around his eyes.

"Well I need to test it anyway…" Scathath said tiredly as Argen lunged at her, his fists slamming down…

Nearly an hour later, Scathath sat against the wall and drank water, looking at the beaten up Argen.

"Ah… That form is much better, and much stronger, once you can control it like you can with that red energy… You might just be as strong as me," Scathath said smiling as she looked at her broken arm, the most damage Argen was ever able to do…

——

Argen's eyes were dull as black energy enveloped them. On the inside he sat in a chair, looking at three others that looked just like him, one older, one older, and one… Weird looking.

There was an empty seat there as well, but Argen didn't care about that.

"Where… Am I?" Argen asked as the other three, who were talking to each other like they were all best friends looked at him in confusion.

"Oh he's conscious, I thought he always just stayed asleep when he came here…"

"As did I, do you think he talks?" A young boy with silver hair said with no emotion as he looked at Argen.

"Uhh, I do talk… Who are… All of you?" Argen asked between pauses as he felt tired for some reason.

"Ah man, a shame really, I can't wait till we can all be together again, until next time, my past," An older, stronger looking Argen said as one appeared in the empty seat, screaming and yelling and thrashing about.

'What the hell.' Argen thought as he blinked and appeared back in the real world.

"What… Happened," Argen said as he looked up at a blue sky.

"What happened? It was beautiful, it was amazing, and it was…" Mordred said as he was breathing heavily under Argen. "Terrifying…"
