War Brewing

"On your right Mordred," Argen said as he leaned against a castle wall, drinking a muddy looking drunk.

"The eagles? Yeah I know, who knew these bastards had such power… If I had known they were this weak I would have just taken over Albion a long time ago."

Mordred smirked as he unsheathed Clarent, slicing through the horned monster and pivoting on his right foot to deliver a fatal blow to a swarm of giant eagles.

"Thank you for the experience," Mordred said Bowing with his sword turned to the side.

"You are quite the swordsman young lad!" The new member, Sigurd, said smiling as he slashed through some human guards. "But nothing compared to my lady!"

"I'm not your lady," Scathath said in a tired tone as she kicked through a guard.

"They seem to have tamed the monsters of the land, quite a scary thing don't you think?" Nia said as he unsheathed his sword and sheathed it again, slicing through the remaining guards.

"Fear is irrelevant," Kratos said as he came from the sky, holding a griffon that he slammed into the castle doors, breaking through and opening the path to the throne room.

"Careful now, if you are too busy looking at Scathath you could die…" Argen said as a knife stopped an inch away from Sigurds eye.

Sigurd had caught the knife of course, but Argen found it kind to remind him.

"Ah yes thank you sir!" Sigurd said cheerfully as he continued staring at Scathath.

'Haha, he's like one of those training dummies you used to summon,' Argen said in his head as Scathath smiled a bit, remembering the doughy dark looking beings she would use for Argen to train.

"Who dares enter the palace without permission-" A man began to say before Mordred surged toward the voice, stopping right in front of the throne before slicing down with Clarent.

"Hmm… I guess he's learned honor?" Nia said, pleased as he saw Mordred stop barely a half inch away from the mans throat.

"To cut you down without a weapon is dishonorable, ready yourself…"

Mordred's words trailed as he turned and sliced Clarent, hitting three small knives that were aiming for his neck.

"Two on one?"

"Cease your attacks! We can handle this diplomaticly I'm sure?" The king, at least that's what it looked like with him sitting in a throne and all, said holding his hands up and standing up.

Three small figures fell from the ceiling and landed at his side, bowing as he looked at Argen and his family.

"Diplomaticly? No can do!" Nia said laughing awkwardly as the king looked at all of them, trying to find a way to get out of this.

"Then how about this? Leave my kingdom out of it, I will fight one of you? But I get to choose!"

The king laughed inwardly, he wasn't just a weak loser, no there was much more to him.

Scathath shrugged and the rest nodded, so the king took that as agreement.

"Then I will fight… You! The boy with the bright hair!" The king said as he drew a long sword, both hands wrapped around the hilt as he readied himself to attack.

Besides the woman, who he was thinking of saving for later, the boy looked the weakest out of the group.

"If I win you all become my slaves, deal?"

Argen, who the king had pointed too, looked at the rest with a tired expression on his face.

"Slaves? If you win they become slaves? Fine, sounds like a plan…"

The king smirked as he lunged forward, the three small forms moving at a speed none of them expected and all four surged toward Argen.

"What is this?" Argen said sighing before his eyes glowed silver.

*Boom!*

One of the small people were stopped midair by silver energy, as the other two were stopped by two beautiful women, and The King's sword was stopped by Argen's fingers.

"What's with the surprised face? If you can use your minions then surely my family would step in… Listen, you should have chosen Mordred, as he's changed from his old ways… Me though? I've never changed, not even a little bit."

Argen finished his words by snapping the sword and sending a red beam of energy through the heart of the king, killing bim instantly.

The little people, which turned out to be three little girls, stood there in shock, seeing that the king was dead.

"I'm guessing you were slaves? It's fine, I don't really like hurting innocent kids… Especially ones like you."

Sigurd looked at the girls with hate as Argen began leaving the throne room.

"But Sir, aren't they liabilities? What if they try to get revenge?" Sigurd asked, confused as to why Argen would show mercy to people who had tried to kill them.

His only impressions of Argen were from Scathath, and the way she talked about him made it seem as if he wasn't that grown. She said he had lots of training to do, so he assumed he'd help with that. Maybe with this Scathath would be grateful for his help and marry him.

"Liabilities? Hey Sigurd, look at their eyes, that dull look, I'm sure a spoiled little dragon slayer like you wouldn't understand, but we do, Mordred and I specifically… Leave them."

"But!-"

"Shut the fuck up," Argen said turning as he grabbed Sigurd by the throat.

"Look at them, scars all over their body, the dull look of defeat, they look seven at best, they've probably lived all their lives as slaves for that bastard, and guess what power hungry people do to innocent weak little kids who can't defend themselves? They rape them and hurt them without mercy, leave them…"

Argen let go of Sigurd as he looked back at the girls once more and turned, walking with the rest of his family.

Sigurd was shocked at Argen's words, but not for the right reasons. 'Spoiled little dragon slayer!' He thought as his heart began beating fast, speeding up as his body began to beat up.

'Wait… I should calm down, Lady Scathath is right there, and killing her precious student would not be smart.'

Sigurd sighed as his heart calmed down and he followed the rest out.

"Are they all out Asfalis? Good, reign havoc Havoc, we need space for the war," Argen said as a huge red and silver spiraled dragon poked its head out of a silver portal.

As Argen and the others disappeared a huge red beam connected with the land, destroying the once great kingdom that Argen and the others overthrew in half an hour.

——

"Welcome to Camelot citizens of those other kingdoms no one cares about!" Mordred said as he looked at the large crowd in the town square.

Even though it was a lot of people, he was glad to see Camelot being active again like it used to be…. Before he ruined it.

Mordred explained everything to the people while the others got them all situated in Camelot.

Argen and Scathath, the two main leaders of the group, went back to the castle, both tired from work.

Selene and Kym, Argen's holy helpers as he liked to call them, decided to give him a break.

Selene had kept him up the night before with her constant questions as Kym had been reading every book in the castle.

——

"Scathath… Be careful with what you do next…" Argen said staring Scathath in the eye as she was less than an inch away from him, her hot breath tickling his skin as she leaned forward toward him…

Well that went from Zero to a Hundred real fast! What the hell happened here! Even I, TheGodSage, have no clue… Oh well.
