A big bird soared to the blue sky, praises and gifts keep coming to the Chen families. the miss of the Chen family finally produce a son! and its a well healthy fat boy they named him Liu Chen. "Su Chen your son will surely become successful in the future!" Su Chen who was inside of a small house was all smile at the praises, she glances at her son and smiled warmly.

8 years passed and Liu Chen was a positive boy and today as usual he sat near the big tree watching the kids around his age practice martial arts. eating an apple then watching them again for 11 minutes he finished the apple but saw that the kids practicing martial arts were still not finished.

Curious he approached the kids, once he was close a man also approached him and with his stern eyes said "kid what's your name?" Liu Chen replied while looking at the kids "Liu Chen" the man then thought 'the Chen family was poor but their business was fair thus there reputation where top-notch' the man glanced at Liu Chen and said proudly "kid I see you are looking at them do you want to join them to practice martial arts?"

Though to practice martial arts one need money and it was not something that Chen family can afford, but the man knew that he'll gain favor by allowing the kid to practice martial arts even though he doesn't have money, the Chen family had their connections if they used them in no time they will be rich! but they are honest to the bone!

Liu Chen still looking at the kids casually replied "it looks hard, so no." the man nearly cough blood! others will bribe him to learn martial arts but this kid! indeed the Chen family is honest to the bone! martial art is hard! the man leaned on the wall and said to him "you know everything is hard but it's all worth it in the end, after tempering your body you have a chance to be enrolled in the four great sects!"

Liu Chen stopped looking at the kids and turned his head to the man, he asked "Four great sects? what's that?" the man was flabbergasted! 'is this kid messing with me!?' then patiently he explained the four great sects and the immortals that can poke their finger to the mountain to make a hole and running in water and flying and the prestige and respect that will follow.

The man's eyes had deep respect and awe when he explained, finally he said to Liu Chen "everybody wants to be an immortal and travel the world, fights those who talk back at them, etc. Liu Chen was stunned too when he heard what the man said but unfortunately, he turned his back while saying "I don't want to become immortal I'm just curious didn't expect to get dragged into immortal stuff!"

'This kid!' the man's face was red as he replied "hmph! do what you want also be careful in your words insulting an immortal will lead to a disaster" the man then closed the gates loudly producing a boom! Liu Chen was now walking back to his spot earlier, it was just near and he can already see the familiar big tree.

Along the way he believed that immortals exist they cultivate qi and can do things impossible for mortals, even his father and mother hoped that one day he too will become one, unfortunately, they are poor and can't send him to school for martial arts. the one he saw earlier was just a small gathering and the martial arts they teach was average still it cost a lot of money to learn.

Liu Chen sat on the grass and lay on the big tree, 'everybody wants to be an immortal? I'm content on my life seating beside the big tree and eating its apple!' at that thought he began to giggle and got up and started climbing the big tree. after 5 minutes he had 4 apples on his brown shirt and began eating them one by one.

After he was done eating them he burped and got ready to head back home, the sunset was mesmerizing so he took a look and was in trance. after 1 hour of standing, watching the sunset turned into the night. he thought to himself "that sunset was good and tomorrow too and the day after!" he was happy and began to run in the rocky terrain while humming a song.

Opening the wooden door he saw no one in the home, he was bewildered and called out his mom and father several times but no one's replied. Liu Chen feels that the night was much colder than before! 'are they still at work?' he closed the door and locked it, though he was an 8-year-old boy he was no ordinary boy he already knew what he wants in life and his perception is unique!

2 hours passed and the interior of the home was gloomy, dark. so he headed to his room and slowly grabbed the lamp that was emitting warmth, his stomach was making a sound and he can't bear the hunger so he thought that if his parents came he'll say that he has already eaten, thinking this he helps himself to the kitchen and began to find food.

Vegetables, Cinnabar mushrooms, red slime sauce, etc 'seemed I need to cook, he grabbed what he needs and began to make food. minutes later an aroma that had a fishy smell enveloped the house. 'finally! the red salmon is done!' he began to eat and was satisfied, he cleaned the plate and the mess while his mind can't help but worry, usually his parents will come home late but not this late.

Liu Chen checked the door and windows after making sure everything was okay did he go to his room, his room was small with a small bed and a window and few toys that he used to play with even today! but he was not in the mood to play, he prepared to sleep while praying inside that his parent will wake him up tomorrow.
