Some years later II

In the course of the trip Orchid did not have a very good time because she felt dizzy and very nauseous, her husband at first thought it was strange but as the tide was a little rough he thought it could have been because of that and decided to omit her strangeness. At the end of 3 days Orchid and Laureano arrived in England and asked for a carriage to the Marquez Palace, although she was already on dry land, Orchid still felt dizzy and blamed the swaying of the boat that was rocking strongly and she only had the sensation.

When they arrived at the Marquez Joan's Palace, Orchid was already a little better but she only had a slight headache that she decided to ignore, when they arrived William received them with affection and on the safe way he took them to his house to which Orchid asks

Orchid: Why a secret passage, if you are behind your mother's Palace you could expand your land and make a dirt road, the thing would be to fix the road.

While he looks at her and raises an eyebrow he says: You can see that you are sisters, just a few days ago Laura told me the same thing and I have been looking at that, but until it is safe I will not risk anyone.

She just smiles and lets herself be guided until they finally get out of the passage and arrive to the living room, a beautiful Laura with a somewhat loose dress walks to Orqui and hugs her as best she can, while Laura sees her she asks curiously

Laura: Orqui, are you ok?

While she is there she says yes and that she shouldn't worry that it was the boat that moved a lot and made her dizzy, to which Laura nods for such a sensation and decides to rule out that the poor girl might be a little sick.

To Laura's calm, the next day a pink-cheeked Orchid greets everyone with good morning and looks at a tempting breakfast, while both eat Laura comments that yesterday she had trouble sleeping because she felt many twinges in her belly and did not know if it was normal or not, Orchid who listens attentively to her sister worries a little but suggests that later she can sing to her and she can rest a little more, Laura nods happily and they have breakfast quietly.

When the men return from some shopping, Orqui, seeing them, makes a gesture of silence and being careful not to wake Laura up, she approaches them and whispers

Orquidea: "*now she has managed to get some sleep, since it seems that the baby didn't let her sleep*".

William, who is a little worried, decides to look for his mother to help them a little bit, while Laureano comments

Laureano: you shouldn't have sung to her in her bedroom.

She raises an eyebrow and comments: love, I think that would be daring, yes she is my sister but it is also Matthew's room.

While making an affectionate please face he simply lifts his shoulders and decides not to say anything, William might not stop him, but for Orchid that would be going over the top and she preferred to keep some distance.

When Joan had entered the room, a somewhat uncomfortable Laura woke up and commented to Orchid that she felt strange, while both women approached in a hurry Laura was dropping some liquid and both were astonished.

Laura and Orquidea: What is that liquid?

While Joan smiled and said: that liquid in short is that your water has broken.

A panicked Laura repeated: Broken what?

While Orchid said with a hand on her head: the baby is coming.

At that moment Laura began to complain of terrible pains Joan told Orchid that she was having contractions and they had to take her to the room as soon as possible, so a desperate Orchid shouted

Orchid: CRETE HELP US, THE BABY IS COMING.

While Orchid asked Lau to hold on until she reached the room, the 3 of them guided her as best they could and Creta, who was running faster than in a marathon, looked for everything Joan asked for, they closed the door and started to help Laura who was crying in pain, while Creta was encouraging her to have the baby.

After hours both tired women left Laura's room to tell the men that the baby had been born well and that it was a boy, Joan who saw Orchid a little pale asked her to go and rest for a while, since she and Crete would take care of the rest and so it was Orchid as soon as she touched the bed fell asleep, but she was still feeling dizzy, while she convinced herself that it was because of the trip and only that.

The baby was born strong and beautiful with the same eyes as William and the same hair as Laura, it was a beautiful mixture of the family, Orchid and Laureano decided to stay one more month and then leave quietly back to Scotland, just in the first month of the baby Orchid fell ill with fever, dizziness and vomiting, Laura who was all worried about her sister because she was paler than usual wondered out loud

Laura: Could it be that she is pregnant?

While everyone was staring at each other Joan who looks at her seriously nods and says: everything points to yes, but.... We will call the doctor to confirm it, since I have never had such a high fever with any of my children.

Orquídea was indeed pregnant and had been pregnant for almost 3 months.
