Beings from a parallel world? II

We were separated by groups, that is to say the boys in the cell next to the girls, we had bedtime unless it was for something important and this time the boss did not mind showing himself to the others.

The first time I saw him was when he approached the kitchen area and looked for a bowl of water to drink, I looked at him from a second glance and I could detail him a little, he always wore a long shirt similar to a white robe with red lines, a somewhat wide belt of dark gold, brown sandals and a hat that covered his neck and hair his real name was Said but everyone called him Chief his skin was a burnt white and he was always with a camel.

I knew he was always on top of everything even when we got sick depending on our area he was more or less concerned, I remember one day one of the boys that he sent to train and then watch over us fell ill due to a scorpion sting. They were going to call a woman who knew about herbs but apparently she wasn't there until Elvia commented that I had once told her that I had read about medicinal herbs and I might be able to help, clearly I thought she would ignore her and look for someone else but she agreed that I would try and that Elvia would help me in any way she could.

I froze for a moment as Miguel's life was in my hands, Miguel was a 12 year old boy, he was from a country called Venezuela, he was slim 5'7", his eyes were gray, his skin a caramel white and his hair was straight black, I liked to talk to him about what his country was like and what the weather was like in each state.

I didn't know if I should cry when I saw him, I just froze when I saw him suffer while he said

In that simple moment I remembered the basis of removing the poison and while I decided to do that I told Elvia what to look for and I told the closest guys to help me, so they helped me in total 4 people Elvia, Luisa, Franky with his brother Hansen the latter were Orcs just like Elvia and they were 2 years older than me.

Indeed between the 4 of us we calmed Miguel who was sweating a lot and was becoming anxious, as in my area I always had to have clean hands, I trusted me a little more and while I washed the wound with cold water to disinfect it of any possible virus, as we had no more cold water what I did was to look for the clean cloths and wet them with water and with both wet cloths I covered his wound.

I asked to stay with him until the lady who would cure him arrived while I asked Elvia for some flowers to calm him down a little more, I did not know if that was all I could do, but it calmed me down a little to see how he calmed down and even more to know that I would not leave his side.

Effectively with my slight help Miguel was cured quickly of the sting and I already had 2 areas that I had to take care of, being a nurse for everyone in case of getting hurt or sick and the kitchen, something I was grateful for was a small book that the woman lent to the boss so I could learn a little more about these medicinal herbs, don't you know that it was a book that she had made by hand from several notes, flowers that she recognized and new flowers, every night after dinner she studied and memorized them.
