Chapter Six First Day Hunt P3[Updated]

[Akio Pov]

When I realized that I had failed in escaping from Kuroka's grasp this time, I slowly started to turn my head to look at Kuroka while saying to her.

[Akio]" Ohhh, Kuroka, what are you doing here in the middle of the village today? Isn't it this the same time when you should be at the Village School?"

[Kuroka]"Ohhh, don't worry about that today, Akio, today's a special day. Didn't the village chief tell you anything about today's Hunt?"

When I heard Kuroka's words which seemed that she knew something that I didn't know about, I felt a bad feeling in my gut which was telling me that today's Hunt wouldn't be as smooth sailing as I thought it would be aside from the possible Magi-Beasts that the Rob had mentioned to me when the power known as Mana would be spread in the world.

So even though I didn't want to ask her again, due to me wanting to get away from her as soon as possible right, I was curious, so I asked her what she meant about what's so special about today's Family Hunting.

[Akio]" Sooo? What does the Hunt today have to do with you? I know for a fact that today should be when Dad/Village Chief is going to Hunt with my older brother and sisters."

As I said those words, I saw that Kuroka laughed due to seemingly feeling pitiful for me not knowing anything about Dad's Hunt today. And as I waited for her to stop laughing and finally answer my question, she then smirked at me while saying.

[Kuroka] "Ohh, I can't believe that the village's so-called genius weakling wouldn't have to know anything about his own father's plan for the Village Hunt today. Did you forget what day it is today?"

When Kuroka finished taunting me to feed her own self-pride, she then, from her back, pulled out a leather cloth that had something written on it which were.

"Graduation Test Hunt, Schedule..."

When I finally finished reading what was reading in the leather cloth, I suddenly remembered that today was when students who were able to pass all the tests from the village school and were learned everything taught in the school in its three-year-long school time.

The reason that even I didn't know that today, despite me having the skill known as Perfect Memory from Rob, was because, through the ten years of practice and research on the three skills he had managed obtained from God, Akio found out that although he could contain an unlimited amount of memory. Akio found out a disadvantage of the skills, which was, as the amount of memory that Akio kept inside his mind increased the more his physical health became weaker, which Akio thought was due to the mental stress of his Brain was sustaining to remember everything that he had seen and learned.

However, the effect which could be treated due to the regenerative skill that Akio had somehow helped maintain the memories he had so that he wouldn't receive too much mental stress. To alleviate the mental stress he has due to his perfect memory temporarily until he found himself a way to offset his skill's disadvantage. Akio decided to delete certain memories from his mind, which he deemed to be unnecessary.

And those are the reasons why I didn't know that today was the day aside from most of the time that I had lived in the village, I had only done researching the ancient records left in the village, playing around with my younger siblings, which was mostly Emily, and lastly being a research and learning partner to his mother.

[Akio] 'Damn, I didn't think that knowledge would have been any important today since I didn't even go to school by then anymore. But wait, it's only been a year since school started. How could this musclehead girl managed to get the graduation test of her grade in most of the classes in the village school she flunked in.'

After noticing Akio's look of confusion on how she could have possibly gotten the graduation exam two-years-earlier than normal. Kuroka then laughed as she wanted to boast towards Akio while saying,

[Kuroka] "Oh, did you think that only Mr. Genius here can get the Graduation exam? Well, due to my hard work after you had quit school a few months ago, I managed to make my grades to an average level, while I showed off my talent in Hunting, Fighting, .etc, to the teachers, so one day when one of your big brothers, which one was it again... Oh yeah your big Brother Arnold visited the school according to the village's chief order."

"And when he saw my skills in fighting and mock Hunting, in the classes at the school back then. He recommended me to your father, the village chief, and so after that, after witnessing my talent, you, the village chief, allowed me to take the advance test on the graduation exam."

"And so after barely getting the passing score of the graduation exam, aside from the combat test, today was the day that the hunting test, which you skipped, by the way. would happen, and coincidentally, the Village Chief invited me in your family Hunting so that he could hit two birds with one stone, in checking if my skills are sufficient enough to graduate completely from the school and spend time with you guys."

When Akio heard her words at first, Akio kind of felt a little respect for Kuroka, who was known as an idiot in classes when he still went to school, to manage to get an average grade in the classes barely, and showing talent in combat and hunting which was quite predictable due to her attitude from way before.

But When Akio heard the last part of her words, Akio felt a bit pissed at his dad and older brother due to his dad's offer/ laziness for Kuroka's Graduation Test now in the next 2-5 days that they will be hunting together in the family hunt.

Although Akio didn't want to hunt together with Kuroka, Akio had to admit that even if Kuroka was a bit stupid, about everything aside from battling and hunting, but in terms of the area, she had a talent for, like Hunting.

Although Akio didn't want to admit it, Akio acknowledges that Kuroka indeed was a one-generation talent in fighting and hunting. If Kuroka were indeed included in the Family Hunt today, instead of being a burden, Kuroka would become an asset instead due to the simple fact that the more Hunter's there are, the more loot you will get.

The whole reason that Akio didn't even like Kuroka, to begin with, was due to his experience with her when he was still attending the school a few months ago. At the time when Akio was attending the school, similar to now, most of the other kid's in the village just ignored him, while the teachers who were friends of his mother was at least a bit better at treating Akio, although they still looked down upon due to his physical weakness, always getting the lowest grades in the two classes of mock Hunting and Combat.

And one day, Akio was forcefully included in one of the group combat activities due to the lack of numbers to balance out the groupings that day. Unfortunately for him or fortunately for him that day, was that in the pairings, both he and Kuroka were placed in the same team.

And as you could probably guess, when the group combat started, Kuroka using her overall strength and sophisticated fighting techniques, carried the whole team to victory. And while Kuroka fought the strongest of the opponent's group, Akio then fought the youngest and weakest physically in the enemy group.

However, In the slight moment at that time, using some martial techniques that Akio knew such as, Judo, Karate, Wrestling, etc. Despite his terrible physical strength, Akio has managed to make his opponent fall over from an under-the-kick technique.

And so due to that slight delay in the enemy's movement, seeing that Kuroka had already managed to defeat the students earlier successfully and had already set her sights on Akio's battle earlier.

Kuroka, with quick speeds, had defeated Akio's opponent quickly, which in turn. Lead Akio's team to victory and receive a good score for once in the combat class.

However, after that day, Akio noticed that Kuroka started to pay attention to him more and seemed to initiate more contact with him from before, and as time passed as she did this when Akio finally asked her why she kept getting closer to Akio despite the other people's choice of mostly just ignoring him.

And beyond Akio's understanding, Kuroka had just only told him at the time that the reason that she wanted to get closer to Akio was that she was amazed by the technique that I had used, in that one time when I battled the other side t from the opposing team back then.

When Akio had heard those words, the first thing he thought of her was.

[Akio] " Wha, is this girl stupid or something? Why would she try and talk to the town weakling for over a month to ask him how he used a technique that may have just been a fluke, and ask him how to learn it, and worse of all, she didn't even ask me until I confronted her why she kept talking to me, when did she even play. to finally ask me how to do it."

So after that day even, when Akio finally gave up and taught Kuroka the technique of the fighting style he used in that battle. Akio still saw that Kuroka was still very insisted on being closer to him, Which although Akio found the idea of getting a new friend in the village aside from his siblings, Akio didn't like how persistent Kuroka could be when she wanted something from someone.

So from that point on, even when Akio had finally left the school and started homeschooling, sometimes when he walked around the village, Akio would be once again forcefully, although not physically, mentally due to the actions done by Kuroka to teach her more. And one time, Akio experienced that occasionally Kuroka would go to his house to ask to meet with him.

This caused himself some awkward conversations with his Mother that teased him about his relationship with Kuroka and the pouting of some of his younger sister, more prominently of them was Emily who even refused to talk to me for a while after that.
