Chapter 32

Moe, Hero, Bell, and Smoke rushed into the battle. It was a mess. Jay and the others were here too, so that means Bandit didn't come out here alone, which is a good thing. I tried to walk away, but Ace grabbed me and growled, "You ruined my plans! I could have been the leader of everything! But no! You had to tear it apart in my face!"
I said, "You're an evil ruler! I don't want to live under you!" He said, "You should have behaved! This wouldn't have happened if you went along with everything like everyone else!" I shouted, "Well I can't live with the fact that you murdered our father!" It was loud enough for everyone to hear, and everyone now knows that Ace killed Jet.
Everyone stopped fighting and looked at Ace. Even Crow looked at him in shock. A cat shouted, "He did WHAT!?" Many cats growled at Ace, but a few, including Kyle and Eclipse, walked up to Ace and sat next to him. There were even a few that were from the Night Cats. Ace said, "Ah, such loyal cats of mine." Ace squeezed my neck, and he shouted, "Die!"
I shut my eyes, and Ace threw me to the ground, but I was caught by someone.
I opened my eyes, and I saw Rudy. Ace stepped back and asked, "Mom? What are you doing here?" Rudy looked at him with sad eyes and said, "You killed your father, and you almost killed Birch. Do not ever call me your mother ever again." Rudy walked away from him, but Ace grabbed him and said, "I only wish to be happy. If you're going to help him take that away, then I'd be glad to kill you too..."
I growled, "You're lower than scum." Rudy used his tail to knock Ace's hand away from, him, and continued to walk away. Ace pulled out a gun and shot Rudy in the leg, making him fall. Everyone started panicking, not only because of the gun, but because of the fire. Some cats left the scene to get away from the fire, and a lot of other cats started fighting again.
The foxes and dogs tried to stop the fighting, but there was too much. Ace walked up to us, and Rudy said, "You're even more corrupt than humankind." Ace chuckled and said, "I plan to rule over humans too. Then I'm going to take over the world." Rudy asked him, "What in the world made you this way?" Ace said, "The endless possibilities."
He pointed his gun at Rudy's head, but I squeezed out of Rudy's grasp, and got in Ace's way. I said, "Unlike you, I love my mother. You won't lay a single paw, nor bullet on him." A single tear fell off of Ace's face. He then said, "I do. But he's just in my way." I didn't move an inch. I was prepared to sacrifice myself.
Ace fired the gun, but Rudy put his hand in the way, taking the bullet. To my surprise, a large blue sapphire appeared on his hand, making the bullet ricochet into Ace's leg. Ace collapsed, and he screamed in pain. The bullet in Rudy's leg slid out, and Rudy ran to Cleo. Rudy said, "Long time no see, Cleo." Then he put me down and whispered something into Cleo's ear.
Cleo nodded, picked me up, and ran into the forest. "Wait! No!" I shouted desperately. I wanted to stay and fight with my family. I bit Cleo, and she stopped and said, "Ow! Stop that!" I kept biting her, and I tried to get free. She said, "We don't have time for this!" She kept running, and I kept biting her. Then I suddenly felt a pain that my body couldn't comprehend.
Then a huge wave of pain washed over my body, so I screamed. It was so loud, it seemed like the whole forest heard it. Cleo said something, but I couldn't hear what she said. I buried my claws into her skin, but she didn't stop. Suddenly, it got dark, and Cleo stopped. She said, "Lu! Hurry and help Birch! It's an emergency!"
Then I heard Lu gasp and say, "Put him down! I'll do what I can!"

I saw Cleo run off with Birch. I was about to follow, but a cat attacked me. I pushed him back, and shouted, "Stop attacking you idiots!" Crow shouted, "Ace what's wrong with you? First your father, and now you almost killed your mother, and your brother!" Ace said, "Shut up, Crow! You're going to rule under me! I had to get rid of your father because he isn't as naive as you!"
That was the stick that broke the camel's back. Everyone became silent, and Crow said, "Excuse me? Would you like to repeat that?" Ace was about to repeat what he said, but then he realized what he said. Crow said, "It wasn't Jet that killed my father. It was you! You slain King Night!" Everyone looked at Ace, with confused and hostile looks.
King Crow raised his hand and shouted, "Fight with the rebels! Fight against Ace!" All of the Cats of the Night started fighting with us. Ace shouted, "My plan was flawless! This can't be the end!" Then I heard a loud scream. It didn't come from anyone here, because everyone else was just as confused. Rooster said, "That sounded like Birch..."
I said, "Rooster you're in charge. I'm leaving" I ran out of the scene, but a burning tree fell in my way, and I had to retreat from it. "Dammit... hold on Birch!"
