Chapter 2

Dean sat in the parking lot outside of his workplace, thinking of what he heard on the news before leaving home. He looked out over the field that sits next to the building that he would need to enter soon to start his shift, wondering if the peaceful life he and Myra had would remain or if it would be destroyed by war. He knew that war in this land was something that has raged on for as long as there have been humans to start them. This war however was started by the same King that destroyed the place of his birth. He knew that no matter how much he wished it, the war was coming. The only question he had for himself was, "how can I protect the people I love?" As he became lost in thought, there was a tap on his window that made him jump.

"You scared the shit out of me!" He said after rolling down the driver side window.

"Sorry about that I didn't mean to, but you were so spaced out that I couldn't help it." Said the man that was standing next to Dean's car. The man is about average height coming up to just above Dean's chin. He wore the same white uniform that Dean was wearing, and above the left breast pocket is the name Sam that is stitched in blue thread. His green eyes reflected the sun as he moved out of the way so Dean could get out of his old Charger.

"What has you spacing out so early in the morning? Did Myra keep you up all night or something?" He said grinning as he poked Dean in the side with his elbow.

"Did you watch news this morning?" He asked as they both walked towards the door to the shop.

"No, I was preoccupied if you know what I mean." He said winking with his left eye.

"Well, they were saying that there are troops from Belmondo gathering at the boarder and that they're going to invade." He said ignoring what Sam said.

"Really? When are they going to attack, did they say?"

"No they didn't, but supposedly our troops are going to head them off."

"You don't seemed convinced." He said as he held the door open for Dean.

"Hopefully they will stop them from invading, but our military isn't as big as Belmondo's military" He told Sam as they walked to the time clock.

They joined two more coworkers who where standing at the time clock waiting to clock in. One is a woman just a little shorter than Sam. Her body is lean but fit, almost like that of a swimmer. It was easy to see that she took excellent care of her self. Her skin is a little darker than Dean's. She once told him that her grandfather came from the other world, a place called Mexico. Her hair is light brown with some blonde highlights, which makes her look like some teenager instead of a woman in her mid twenties. Next to her stand a man about the same age as Dean and almost as tall, just falling three inches short. He would often joke about standing out with his dark skin and white uniform, but then would say that Sam stood out more. He would compare Sam with a ghost because of Sam's pale skin. Sam would just fire back with something about the other man's dark skin. It would all seem racist to an outsider, but that didn't matter to them because they have been friend's for years and that's just how they joked with each other.

"Good morning Dean, Sam." Both the man and woman said as Dean and Sam walked up.

"Good morning Holly, Tate." Dean said returning their greeting.

"Good morning Holly, you're looking as good as always." Sam said giving her a wink.

"Of course I do, how else am I going to get you to do my work for me?" She said smiling and winking back at Sam.

"So you dress up for me huh? Then how about you go out on a date with me?" He said raising an eyebrow.

"Sorry I'm busy that day." She said as she clocked in.

"Man she doesn't want your bald old ass!" Tate says laughing his ass off.

"What the hell are you laughing at? Your the same age as me and your bald too!" Sam says pointing at Tate's shinny head.

"Yeah but unlike your skinny ass, I have these babies." He said as he flexed his muscular arms.

"Hey I thought you met someone last night Sam." Dean said, now joining in on the fun.

"I did and she is so freaking hot!" Sam said looking up and putting his hands together like he was thanking God.

"How many times do I have to tell you that putting lipstick on you hand doesn't count." Tate said trying to keep a straight face.

They all burst out laughing and then proceeded to clock in and head to their work stations. Dean likes his job as a fabricator, it makes him feel like he is doing something important. Well the truth is he really likes welding and building things for some reason that even he doesn't know. He can still remember when he first got this job seven years ago. He had just met Myra and was wanting to impress her by taking her out on a fancy date but he didn't have the money to take her anywhere nice. She told him that she didn't care about that, just as long as they were together, but Dean believed she deserved better. So he set out looking for something that would pay him more than his last job. He was just about to give up when he found this one. He smiled as he remembered how excited Myra was for him when he told her about it and how she started bringing him lunch everyday. At first he was concerned about her getting in trouble from her boss for being late returning from lunch, but she just smiled and said not to worry. It turned out that her family owned a clinic that specialized in rehab for the physically disabled and she would schedule an hour for lunch every day. She said that would give her the time she wanted to spend with Dean without being late returning from lunch.

As the morning carried on, Dean would look at the dusty clock that hangs above his work station and would silently become more and more excited for lunch time to arrive. He loves that time of day because he not only gets to see Myra but also because he gets to spend some time out in the sun. Dean has always liked the outdoors and he spends as much time as he can outside hiking or camping when ever he gets the chance to do so. After looking at the clock for what seemed like the millionth time, Tate walks over and taps him on the shoulder. This would happen almost every day and it has become a daily routine.

"Hey man you do this every day. You look at the clock every two minutes and then you get anxious when we're on our first break like you can't wait to get back to work. Then when lunch comes around you rush out of here like your on fire or something. Seriously man, what's your deal?" Tate said grabbing Dean's shoulder again.

"I don't know, I just can't help it. When ever I think of lunch I get hungry and excited at the same time. I know it makes no sense, but I just live that time of the day. It's not morning but not quite afternoon you know." Dean said looking back at the clock yet again.

"You white people are weird." Tate said as he began laughing.

"I find that to be racist." Sam chimed in saying.

"Man, your face is racist!" Tate fired back, now laughing so hard that he began snorting.

"If you keep snorting like that then your going to attract the closest pig and make it fall in love with you!" Sam hollered.

"You shouldn't talk about you mother like that!" Tate hollered back.

"Guys let's not go there. You my be having fun now but one of you is going to go to far and piss the other one off." Dean said trying to stop the two from going any further.

"Now don't worry your pretty little head none. Besides aren't you late for lunch?" Tate said trying to keep a straight face.

"What?! Really?!" Dean said spinning around to look at the clock. "Ha! Ha! Very funny asshole."

"You should have known that it wasn't lunch time after looking at the clock so much." Tate said as everyone was now laughing at Dean.

"I'm surrounded by little boys!" Holly said as she shook her head.

The rest of the morning continued in the same manner, but now Sam was spending most of his time trying to convince Holly that he was more of a man than Tate. She really didn't care telling him that "he was more of a child than anyone else" and that he wasn't her type. Tate of course would make more jokes about Sam being destined to marry his own hand causing everyone to burst out laughing. Finally it was time for lunch and Dean wasted no time heading out side and to the picnic table that the company had set outside for the workers. There waiting is Myra with two containers of food, one for each of them. Dean sits down across from Myra and grabs the container that she slides to him.

"You know, this is my favorite time of day." He said grabbing her hand.

"I know, you say that every day when I get here." She said squeezing his hand.

"Get a room you two. I swear, you guys act like you haven't seen each other for years." Sam said sitting down next to Dean.

"I think it's cute." Holly said as she takes the seat next to Myra.

"Man I can't believe I agree with Sam. You guys have been together for what, six or seven years now?" Tate asked sitting down next to Holly.

"We've been together a little over eight years now." Dean said as he smiled from ear to ear.

"You seem proud of yourself honey, for remembering that. It's to bad your wrong." Myra said smiling back at Dean.

"What are you talking about, it's been a little over eight years." He said as his smile started fading.

"No, we have been nine years or at least it will be nine years in just two days." She said as Tate and Sam began to laugh.

"Oh sorry sweetheart, your right. I hope you will forgive me for being so inconsiderate and not rounding up." Dean said sarcastically as he started smiling again. "Could you ever find it in your heart to forgive me?"

"Maybe, but only if you do that thing I like later tonight." She said in a flirty way.

"Man, I'm going to lose my appetite if I have to hear any more of this!" Sam said covering his mouth with his hand as if he were going to be sick.

"This is why you could never get with someone like me, because you just don't know how to be romantic." Holly said to Sam.

"Well I am married and all I know is that these two make me look bad. That's why I don't want to bring Samantha around you two anymore." Tate said as he took a bite of his sandwich.

"I have one question for you T? Do you find it difficult because she's Sam's sister or is it because her name is Sam as well? Also when you make love to her, which Sam are you thinking about, or do you think about a three some with both? They are twins after all." Dean said trying to hold back his laughter. Holly and Myra were now laughing so hard that they started to tear up. Sam caught on to what Dean was doing and saw an opportunity to get Tate back for earlier that morning.

"It's me right? Yeah It's me! I'm sorry sis. Damn my beautiful body." Sam said, now joining in on the joke.

"You wish. Boy you couldn't handle all this with that skinny ass of yours." Tate fired back. After a moment he began laughing so hard that he started snorting again.

After they were done eating, they cleaned up and started to head back to work. Myra kissed Dean goodbye and told him that she would see him when she got home later, but then reminded him to call his mother when he got home. Dean kissed her and told her he loved her and that he would remember and for her to have a safe trip back to work. He waved to her as she pulled away and then headed inside. the rest of the day was fairly uneventful except when the owners came out of the office to inform them of the possible new contract that they might get soon.

The owners of Dean's job are an older married couple in there late eighties early nineties. They both still looked fairly young, but that was to be expected since people nowadays lived to be about two hundred. Dean stood listening to what they had to say and then started to wonder if he and Myra would be like those two when they get to be that age. After the meeting Dean cleaned up his station, clocked out and then said goodbye to his coworkers and headed home.

Once Dean got home he walked in and then went to the kitchen to grab a beer, which is another of his daily routines. After drinking his beer he remembered what Myra said about calling his mom and asking her about when she found him when he was just a child. As he picked up the phone to call his mother, it rang causing him to jump a little.

"Hello." He said as he answered.

"Hello sweetie." The voice on the other end said.

"Mom? I was just about to call you. This is weird."

"Well Myra called earlier today and asked me to call you at this time. She said you had something important to discuss." His mother said.

"Really, well so much for her trusting me." He said shaking his head.

"What is it sweetie? You know you can talk to me about anything." She said trying to get Dean to open up.

"I've been have the same dream over and over every night for the past two weeks." He began.

"That's awful! What's it about? Do you need me to come over there?" She asked concerned.

"What? No, I don't need you to come over, but I do need to talk to you about it." He said.

"Ok tell me what it is and I'll see if I can help." She said.

Dean begins telling her all about what he has been dreaming and she listens to everything he has to say. After telling her about his dream, they both fall silent for a short while. As they both sit quietly on the phone they hear a click as someone else joined there conversation. It turned out to be his father picking up the spare phone to find out why his wife looked so shocked.

"What happened son and why is your mother frozen stiff?" His father asked.

"I told her about my dreams." Dean said.

"I told you that those are nothing more than your imagination." He said to Dean. "Think about it, there is no way that you can remember something from when you were two or three years old. That stuff never happened and you should just forget it and move on."

"I've remembered more details about the man who killed my mother and about two men that died in front of me. One of the men had short brown hair that he combed back and that smile of his. It was so creepy." Dean said trying to get through to his parents.

"Sweetie your father is right, just forget about it and try to focus on something else. When are you and Myra going to finally get married and give us some grandkids?" His mother said trying to change the subject.

Dean knew that talking to them anymore about this would be a waste of time so he talked to them about other things for a while before hanging up. A short while after hanging up with his parents, Myra came home. She walked in as Dean was setting the table for dinner. They ate and then talked about what his mother and father said which caused Dean to tell Myra that he was right and calling them was a waste of time.

"What are you going to do?" Myra asked as she rubbed his arm.

"I don't know, maybe they're right and I need to forget the dream and focus on something else." He said as he grabbed her hand and began kissing it.

"Oh, what did you have in mind?" She said as she grinned mischievously.

"Well my mother did mention grandkids." He said as he stopped kissing her hand and began kissing her neck.

They then started kissing passionately as the made their way up to the their bedroom. By the time they had reached the bed, they were now completely naked. Both of them are now unable to control their passion and lust anymore. They crashed to the bed as Dean fell back and Myra landed on top of him. She rode him as she moaned and thrust her hips back and forth. Dean began thrusting his hips upward matching the motions of Myra's hips as he drowned is ecstasy. With each thrust Dean would become more and more firm as his man hood would swell filling Myra and causing her to become even more wild. After a while of this, Myra stopped and leaned down to kiss Dean's chest and she then reminded him that he promised to do the thing she liked. Dean grabbed her and lifted her up before spinning around and placing her on the bed. She then turned around and wiggled her bottom both teasing and inviting Dean. Dean entered her and then grabbed her hair and as he pulled her hair he would thrust into her. With every thrust their bodies would clap together sending a shock wave through Myra. As Dean began moving faster and pounding harder Myra would moan and scream out "YES! MORE!" After a few more thrusts Myra let out one last moan of ecstasy as Dean filled her womb.

After they settled down and caught their breath, they both laid in each other's arms. Dean reached out and brushed some hair that had falling into Myra's face out of the way and kissed her softly on the lips. They held each other until Myra fell asleep. That's when Dean kissed her one last time on the forehead and closed his eyes. It wasn't long after that, that Dean drifted off to sleep himself.
