Ch-3 A Small ray of hope

News of Charles's death reached his friend's ears. They were young and brilliant scientists they were 24 and 27, their names were Charlie and Joey.

News of their friend's death shocked them. Now they were hopeless. They were thinking about their belongings which were in unsafe hands.

They were sitting in their secret base under their house when suddenly a small kid came inside the base. The kid was just 10 and his name was George. Charlie and Joe were shocked as they saw such a small kid entered their base without being caught by computers and lasers.

When the kid saw Charlie he asked where is the man named Charles. Charlie was still confused but he replied with a question who are you.

I am Charles's son, my name is George, where is my father.

Joe was thinking that how can they believe a kid who they have never seen before. Then Joe questioned George very suspiciously that Charles never told about having a son. George was not shocked he calmly replied,"as I thought". Then George said that he will give them proof then will they believe Him?

Joe and Charlie agreed. George sat on a chair and said open my father's locker, key is stuck with a chewing gum below his study table, in the locker you will find a letter read that, in that letter he had described me.

Joe was acting dumb in shock and Charlie was confused as they both were not knowing about his friend's locker key. When Joe checked he found the key at the place were the kid told, he opened the locker and and found a letter. Joe opened the letter and started reading it aloud.

The letter said -:

Hey friends I know when will you get this letter I would be missing or dead. Sorry I didn't told you every thing of my life. I was hiding three things, this letter, my son and my wife. You will get this letter and my son together as only my son knows where the letter is. If you find this before my son comes don't try to find him he will come to our home when you will need him. I know you are angry as I left you so soon but don't be sad my son is more brave than me. Don't observe him by his age he is just a kid by time but actually only he can help you, help us. Protect him for me....
