It all started when Phoenix's parents got into a fight, and the dad left, Phoenix was only 1 so she was napping in her room at the time.


The dad got drunk and was drugged by this woman whose quirk was shadow and Phoenix's father's quirk was ice. So this women drugged him and he had sex with her


He couldn't remember what happened after that but the woman made him stay with her for 9 months until sally was born, then the wife killed herself right in front of the dad. He left the baby in the snow and ran away thinking it would die, but little did he know that this baby's quirk activated as soon as she hit the snow, so she survived.


3 YEAR later Phoenix and her mother were going Christmas shopping and then found a 3-year-old in the snow, Phoenix was kind-hearted at that age and begged her mom to let the baby live with them, The mom hesitated because she didn't know if she could handle two kids but the seeing of how badly phoenix wanted a sister she took baby sally in, who was renamed Karmaria by Phoenix.


Once they brought the baby home, however, the father realized that was the baby he left to die, he fought with his wife claiming she cheated.


When Phoenix tried to explain she was yelled at for the first time and ran to her room with 3-year-old Karmaria.


Phoenix was only 4 so she didn't understand why they fought, soon the fact that they were half-sisters faded....for Phoenix at least, Karmaria still knew but kept it from Phoenix for she feared Phoenix would lose control.


One day when Karmaria was 14 1/2 and Phoenix was 15 their parents got into such a huge fight that the mother screamed at Karmaria, saying it was her fault then Phoenix got in the way claiming it wasn't.


"Look at what you did to my angel!? You turned her against me!?"


She then yelled at Phoenix and tried to use her fire quirk on Karmaria, but Phoenix got in the way, giving her a huge burn on her chest.


Karmaria pushed their mother and tried to comfort Phoenix until the mother grabbed Karmaria by her hair and yanked her away yelling at her.


Memories came back to Phoenix for she was very forgetful she remembered all the times that phoenixes mother had yelled at her like that saying she was a failure, she was supposed to be the perfect daughter, she was SUPPOSED to always bite her tongue, she was supposed to always listen.


Something in Phoenix snapped and she couldn't take it anymore, Phoenix's father tried to grab her and run but then Phoenix punched him away with a firey hand.


Her whole body was on fire and she tackled her mother and started to beat her, over and over and over again. By the time phoenix realized what she was doing it was too late the whole house was on fire and her mother was a bloody burnet mess.


Karmaria tried to help Phoenix but Phoenix was still in a rage and pushed her sister away before blacking out.


Once Phoenix woke up she had fully forgotten why she tried to kill them...and blamed herself.
