The Oddest Couple

Alex stared at her brother and Veronica after receiving the news.

‘You,’ she said to Jake, ‘Come with me.’

She walked off to the kitchen with Jake trailing behind her.

Alex walked up to the calendar and pointed at it.

’I know what the date is Alex.’ Jake said

’Mhm okay good, so then you know that April fools day was over 3 months ago! Sooo, haha, very funny, prank over, I’m gonna kick her out now.’ Alex began walking back towards Veronica, but Jake grabbed her arm.

’Wait, it’s not a prank, I am dating her.’ He said.

Alex still couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

’What the heck do you even see in her?!’ Alex asked, practically yelling.

’You know the kitchen isn’t far from where I am!!’ Veronica yelled. ‘I can hear you Alex.’

Alex walked over to the front door where Veronica was still standing.

‘How long has this been going on?’ She asked

‘5 months.’ Jake said.

’5 MONTHS?!!’ Alex yelled

Levi, Kylie and Mason ran down the stairs to see what was going on.
