“That’s messed up man,” Ryan reprimanded. Alex just continued taking his drink. He didn’t even know why he had told Ryan about it. “Seriously you have to own up to your feelings dude.”
“I really don’t think that’s necessary. It’s going to pass.”
“Is that what you really you think?” Ryan asked in disbelief. “I know that Ryan. And can you please drop this?”
Ryan nodded his head in resignation, “fine. I’ll drop it, but you can’t keep lying to yourself dude.”
Kim waltzed in while they were still talking. “Hi,” she greeted Ryan.
“Kim right?” Ryan asked giving her his dimpled smile. Kim smiled back. “The one and only.”
Alex cleared his throat feeling jealous. She shifted her gaze to him, seeming to notice him for the first time.
“Good morning Sir.” She greeted smiling at him.
“Follow me,” he instructed simply, already walking to the room. He folded his arms, waiting for her to come in. Gently, she opened the door. She took quiet steps towards him.
