Chapter 38 - Things wouldn't line up

They still have thirteen hours left, but Wei Xiao didn't have any patience to wait. He has enough pearls for him and Qin Zuijia, why else would he stay. Regardless of how much Qin Zuijia asked to go back, he was determined to leave the other alone.

They walked past the cave and found that the girl from before was camping inside. They didn't see what she looks like inside, but Qin Zuijia knew it was her. There were four men outside guarding the cave, one of the men were eyeing them suspiciously.

Qin Zuijia smiled at them, but was dragged away by Wei Xiao.

On the way back, the two found some tattered clothes - most of which were covered and blood. They didn't look like they were beasts or ghouls' scratches, they were cut flawlessly, but no one was there.
