Chapter 12

The next morning, Stacy woke up early. She had her bath and dressed well. She wanted to leave before her parents woke up. She wore her necklace and grabbed her bag. She went down the stairs slowly and was about to open the door when Shannon asked, “Where are you going to so early Stacy?”

Stacy spun round immediately and said, “I...em...I'm going to look for a job.”

Shannon walked towards her, “Then why were you coming downstairs slowly. Like you are sneaking out.”

Stacy laughed, “Oh...I would never sneak out. It's not like I'm grounded. I just didn't want to wake anyone.”

Shannon nodded, “Well I talked to Freddy and guess what!! He's going to make you work under him.”

Stacy ran to hug her, “Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you Shannon!! I'm so grateful.”

Shannon pulled out of the hug laughing, “Now go inside, you have a job already.”

Stacy quickly said, “No...I mean..I still need to go check on the jobs.”

Shannon nodded, “Well if that's what you want, come on, let me drop you off.”

Stacy smiled, “Shannon, it's not necessary okay. I can manage.”

Shannon shook her head, “No no no, give me a minute.” Then she went upstairs. As soon as she went upstairs, Stacy opened the door slowly and ran out of the house. Shannon came down some minutes later and said, “Come on Stacy.” She paused and looked round, “Stacy! Stacy!! Where has she gone?” She went to the gate and found out it was opened. She shook her head, “I knew she was hiding something.” Then she went inside.

Stacy got into the front of Olivia's Resort. That was the name of the company. It was named after Olivia. She sighed and said to herself, “Wow, she's really living big.” She looked at the tiles outside the building as she walked on it. She went inside the building and met people inside. It was 9:00am when she got there. She was about to move right when a girl grabbed her, “Oh thank God Olivia, I was beginning to worry.”

Stacy looked at her badge and said, “Rose?”

Rose nodded, “Of course it's me Olivia. Come on, you need to go now. The limo would be waiting for you outside to take you to Mrs Roxelle's house.”

Stacy shook her head, “No no, I'm not supposed to go there...I mean....”

Rose pulled her, “Come on enter, the limo is here. No lateness....did you change your hairstyle...well it doesn't matter, go.” Then she pushed her into the limo and the driver drove off.

Stacy was silent inside the limo. She has never entered one. She looked at the drinks in the car. They were champagne. After a long drive, the limousine stopped and the chauffeur opened the door for her. She stepped out immediately and asked, “Do I need to pay you sir? And how do I know where to enter?”

The chauffeur smiled and said, “This is my job. Just go in to the right, you'll meet Mrs Roxelle.” Then he closed the door, went into the car and drove off.

Stacy walked slowly and followed the Chauffeur's instructions. She was about to walk in when a woman came running towards her and wrapped her in a big hug. Stacy smiled and the woman said, “Oh Olivia, it's so good to finally meet you. I didn't know you would be this early. I need to call Danielle to tell her you are here.”

“No!!” Stacy yelled and Liliane asked, “What's the problem honey? Are you okay?”

Stacy answered, “Mummy would be so busy right now. She wanted no calls till evening.”

Liliane nodded, “Well if that's the case, I'll respect that. I really love your mom and respect her so well....so come on in.”

Liliane led her into the house. It was a very luxury home. There were gold chandeliers hanging on the ceiling. Liliane sat her down and called the maids in the house to serve her drinks.

Liliane sat down and said, “The real reason why I called you here was to talk to you about your missing sister...Anna.”

Stacy composed herself and asked, “What about her ma'am?”

Liliane continued, “Your mom loves Anna. She really misses her even if she hasn't seen her. I just want you to always be by your moms side. I want you to show her all the love you have for her and console her when she's sad okay!”

Stacy had tears forming in her eyes, “Yes ma'am. I know mom truly misses Anna. I know that.”

Liliane moved towards her and held her saying, “That's why you need to be there for her. I'm sure Anna isn't dead and your mom will find her soon.”

Stacy hugged her, “I know she will.” Then Liliane wiped the tears from Stacy's eyes and said, “Come on dear, stop crying okay.”

Stacy looked at her and said, “Please can you not tell my mom what you discussed with me.”

Liliane nodded, “Of course, you are all grown up now. Your decisions matter.”

Her son, Dolph came in. He was 22 years of age. He had a deep black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black top, along with black jean pants and a pair of white Sneakers. He stopped when he saw Stacy.

Liliane went to meet him and said, “Olivia this is my son, Dolph...and Dolph, this is Olivia, Danielle's daughter.”

Stacy stood up and walked towards him stretching her hands, “Nice to meet you Dolph. I'm...sta.....Olivia.”

Dolph accepted her hand and said, “Dolph.”

Liliane smiled, “Now Dolph, show Olivia around. I need to do some things right now.” She gave him a kiss on his cheeks and left them.

Dolph asked, “Why did my mom bring you here? Is it to meet me?”

Stacy shook her head, “No. Your mom wanted to discuss some issues with me.”

Dolph looked at her and she was the most beautiful lady he has ever seen. She had a perfect black hair and was glowing with her bright skin.

Stacy looked at him, “Hello! Hey!”

Dolph snapped out of it and said, “I'm really sorry for staring.” He continued, “Come on, let me show you to my room.”

They went upstairs and entered into the third room. Stacy looked at his room in awe and wowed” Dolph sat down on his bed and said, “I'm really sorry about me asking if you were here because of me. My mom has been pushing me a lot to get a girl, but I'm not ready.”

Stacy smiled and said, “You don't have to worry about your mom. I'm sure you'll find the right person when the time comes.”

Dolph smiled and walked towards her, “Maybe we can hang out some other time. Can I get your number?”

Stacy thought of Olivia and said, “Why don't you give me yours instead, it'll be better.” Then she collected his number. She was about to leave when Dolph grabbed her hand. She looked at his brown eyes and he said, “Promise me you will call me....please.”

Stacy nodded and she left. Liliane was drinking some wine when she saw Stacy, “Oh dear, let me drop you off at home.”

Stacy shook her head, “Oh no ma'am, you don't have to worry.”

Liliane stood up, “Nonsense, let me take you home.”

Stacy immediately said, “Dolph isn't well...I actually came to tell you about it. He's weak.”

“What! Dolph!! The chauffeur will take you home. I'm so sorry dear....I need to check on Dolph. I love you.” Then she ran upstairs.

Stacy went out of the house immediately escaping from the chauffeur, took a cab immediately and went home.
