Chapter 16

Shannon was waiting for Freddy, Lucille and Bob in her office. They came in some minutes later met her using an ice pack on her head. Freddy went to her side asking, “What happened honey?”

Shannon stood up and faced them, “Stacy is up to something mother. She is doing some hidden things and we have to find out what it is.”

Lucille sighed, “Are you still on this Shannon? What did Stacy ever do to you?”

Shannon scoffed, “Of course you'll take her side mother. I found her searching through I and Freddy's drawers....she lied she wanted to get some documents for Freddy. I asked what document that was, but she pushed me, and that's how I ended up with a swollen forehead.”

Lucille was shocked and Bob asked, “Where is she now?”

Shannon dropped the ice pack saying, “She ran to her room and locked her door, so I locked the whole house. She won't be able to go out until we come home.”

Freddy looked at Shannon and asked, “What do you think she's hiding?”
