Late Pt. 1 (Jayda)

I was awakened by the sound of a loud obnoxious tapping. I opened my eyes and sat up slowly. Groggily, I wiped the tiredness from my face and onto the passenger floor. "Damn," I muttered. The sleep that I had awoken from was a deep one. It was almost a dreamless slumber..... almost. Somewhere in the back of my head, I could feel like I was ignoring something. It was almost like I had forgotten something important.....which frustrated me. Whatever I had forgotten, whatever I had dreamed about, had warmed me up. The thing I had forgotten had filled my body with what seemed to be the purpose, want, and desire. Now..... Now I felt empty. Desolate. Cold. Mainly tired, though.

I looked up and turned my head to see that Rebecca was pressing her face up awkwardly onto the passenger window. I watched as she contorted her face, inhaling and exhaling a thick white fog onto the window. Her, boobs were pressed upon the window revealing her lil itty bitty cleavage. I chucked a little. "Jesus Christ! Why are you so adorable?" I questioned inside my head. I could hear groaning behind me as Lucius glared at her from the driver's seat. "Get yo ass off my window," he started. Rebecca rolled her eyes stood up. I watched as she wiped the window with disappointment before smiling again. She looked at both of us and placed her hands on her hips. Her eyes widened as she bucked them at us. "Both of you are hella fuckin' late," she stated. I looked at the time. It was 8:07. My heart dropped slightly. "What the fuck?" I blurted aloud. How did time pass by so fast? How were we so late? I looked at Lucius. He looked at. "Sorry," he stated, "We had to stop for gas, and afternoon traffic got us caught up." I looked back at Rebecca who slowly nodding her head in understanding. I watched as she scratches her scalp.

"Shit. Well, you didn't miss anything," she muttered, "We should meet up with everyone else. They've been waiting for you guys to show up." We both nod our heads in agreement and unbuckled our seatbelts. Rebecca stepped back as I opened the passenger door and stepped out. It was chilly and the skies were cloudy. A lite drizzled had begun to descend upon us as we stood in the lot. Lucius and I simultaneously slammed our doors as the door bolt shut. I watched as Lucius walked to our side of the car before he came to a stop. "We should get going," he said. Rebecca and I agree in unison. We all turned on our heels and made quickly made our way to the party.
