Pudding....

The sky was dark and a bit breezy and cold Alya pulled her dark green hoodie up and tied up the stings. Her trousers were tucked in the snickers. Her hands fisted inside the pockets of the trousers. She pushed the door open and walked in. The place was dimly lit as usual. She looked around to see Megan and Tom sitting at the front row. She waved her hand and walked towards them. Alya winked at Megan, “Hey nice seat Megan you wanted to view from the first bench.” Megan looked embarrassed, “ No, I just wanted to get a good place to listen from.” Alya leaned back and looked at her expression, “ Of course, it is very important to make sure we get good places when it is Wednesday.” Megan threw one a napkin at her after crumpling it into a ball. “ Shut up.” They laughed and teased Megan more. Two more people joined them while they are laughing. Tyler and Liam. “ Are we missing something?” Liam sat beside Alya. He was wearing a white colored T-shirt and jeans.” Alya looked at him in a shock, “ Do you not feel cold? I was shivering out there.” Others nodded in unison. Tom had a cardigan, Megan and Tyler wore coats. Liam smiled and leaned back on his chair, “ I like the cold it is relaxing.” Alya looked at him and shook her head and took a sip from her warm cup of coffee, “ You are weirder than I thought.” Liam, “ Oh I see I did get your attention that is a success.” This made Alya almost spit out her drink. Tom laughed out loud and so did Tylor, Alya looked around ‘Is she missing something?’ Tylor, “ I think you should stop teasing her Liam. Before your wife finds out.” Alya opened her mouth in shock, “ Wait wife? You are married?” she looked around for some confirmation. Megan nodded in agreement. Liam reached out and patted her head, “ Yes sorry it was fun to tease you. You can be so innocent at times.” She stuck out her tongue back. Fionn came with his guitar and sat on the tall tool int the middle of the stage. Everyone went quiet. He played a soft song. For a moment it felt as if all the worry disappeared from the world only the song existed. Her eyes closed, it felt like she was walking bare feet on the grass with dew drops. She would take small steps to feel the cold-water bubbles burst as she walk. The grass tickled her feet. ‘Where is she?’ Alya thought she looked back a tall tree behind her and a person walking towards her. She woke up from daydreaming there was clapping, she joined in. Megan looked excited, “ Wow that was so beautiful.” Alya smiled at her enthusiasm, “ Yes it was really beautiful it made me dream.” Liam nodded with them, “Some people have magic in their voice.” Tyler smiled but there was a slight frown, “ I feel jealous of this kid. He can make such good music.” Fionn joined them everyone cheered for him. Alya looked at Fionn for a bit then asked, “ Where do you get such lyrics?” Fionn looked at the ceiling acting like he is thinking, “ Ah well a fairy helps me.” Alya pouted her lips, “ Hey you think I am kid?” Liam, “ Well you are close to one.” He patted her head and pulled her cheek like a baby. Alya half stood up from the chair and screamed, “ Ah you guys are evil.” She pouted her lips not looking at anyone. The laughter and talking went on for a while. The food arrived, there are varieties of snacks which made everyone smile in delight. There were chicken fires of two flavors and fries. The smell of fresh bread made Alya’s stomach growl, she did not realize how hungry she was until that time. The food finished quickly. Tom got up and disappeared for a while, he then came back with a smile. Alya asked while munching on some fries, “ Where did you go? Was it a call?” Tom grinned at them, “ Oh I asked for a special dessert for us.” Megan, “ Dessert? I thought we will be having ice creams.” Tom shook his head, “ Just wait and see they will launch it soon, but I got us a first sample order.” Liam frowned, “ Please do not tell me you are planning to use us as experimental subjects.” Tom gave an angry look towards Liam, “ Very funny but no, The moment you will see it you will start loving me.” Alya, “ Oooooo our Tom is treating us to something special I cannot wait to see that it is .” A few moments later one of the waiter came out of the kitchen with a big wooden plate with cylindrical shape dessert. They were of different colors and a few of them had a piece of fruit sticking out. Alya made an ‘O ‘ shaped mouth and both her hands covering her cheeks, “ Pudding? You bought us flavored puddings?” Tom grinned looking at everyone, “ It is assorted fruit puddings.” Alya looked she would almost jump out of her chair, “ Aaaah this is so beautiful, Tom you are so great.” She took the white one first it was coconut flavor. The first bite made her go all happy. She went all silent and gulped down four to five pieces all by herself. “ Woah slow down girl. You will take all of them.” Megan took one piece and cut her off frowning. Alya grinned, “ Sorry it was so delicious I cannot help it.” Megan shook her head still frowning, “ You and dessert, It is like you are addicted to it.” Alya had sparkles in her eyes, “ Dessert is my first love how can I ignore it?” Liam laughed out loud, “ You sound more like a dessert monster.” He took last one of the candied strawberry piece from her bowl and swallowed it . “ Hey, no give it back.” She tried to get it back, but it was too late. Liam grinned, “ Sorry already in my tummy.” Alya pouted her lips, “ Not fair I was going to eat that at the end.” Tyler took one of his piece of candied strawberry piece and passed it to her, “ You can have mine.” Alya, “ Woah Tyler you are so great.” She took the strawberry and quickly bite on it. “ See Liam you should share.” Liam, “ Says the one who was gulping down extra helping of puddings.” Alya stick out her tongue to reply that. Tyler, “ The last bite of any dish should be the favorite part or else it is not the end.” Everyone nodded in agreement. After a great dessert they walked out one by one from the café. Tom stayed back he wanted to talk to the chef before leaving. Fionn left with Megan. Alya tied her hoodie up to hide from the wind, “ See yah then she turned to leave.” Tyler, “ Sarah please wait. I am going the same way. I could drop you.” She nodded and got in the car back seat. Alya, “ The 12th street building 42.” Tyler looked back, “ That is beside our place what a coincidence.”
