After dropping off Thea in front of her place, I straight away drove towards the school almost reluctantly. After I had parked the car and was about to enter the premises of the university, when my phone vibrated, indicating that I had received a text. And it was from Thea.
‘Don’t worry, babe. The meeting will go great. I love you.’
Sighing as I read it once again, more determined than before to solve this problem. Reaching his office, I was asked to wait inside. Taking a seat, I looked around the simple decoration of the office with its dim lighting. My eyes fell over a large picture of him and his daughter, Amber smiling widely. It was her graduation picture, taken right in front of our university building.
