“I have sent out my resume to a few colleges and high schools, hopefully it will turn out alright.” Kiernan informs me, setting his laptop down on the table. 


“I am sure they would be lucky to have you.” I reassure him with a playful wink. 


Theo was doing his homework on the other side of the table. He has adapted to Kiernan being his father very quickly. Both of them adore each other. As for me and Kiernan’s relationship, we are just focusing on being Theo’s parents for now. 


There are still things that we need to talk about but we’re both avoiding it at the moment- our main focus is trying to catch up on the lost time. We sit down with my laptop on my lap as I scroll through the pictures that we took of Theo as a baby.
