So Childish

We arrive at our villa in the late afternoon, sun setting in a few more hours. I hop out of the car and run to the door, eager to see what waits on the other side.

"Tara, wait a minute, I need to find the keys," my mom says. I sigh impatiently and I hear Brian chuckling behind me. I turn around and glare at him and he laughs even harder.

"Shut up, Brian!" I say, pushing him. I can hear my mom snickering and giggling. She opens the door and Brian stumbles inside, uneasy from his laughing fit.

"You guys are adorable," she says, quietly so that only I could hear.

"Nope, we're not," I huff. She smiles as I walk inside.

After I looked around, my mom showed me to my room downstairs, which is next to Brian's. My parents' room is upstairs.

I finish unpacking and before I go outside to relax, I use the bathroom. I notice that there are two doors, connecting my room to... Brian's room. I internally scream with joy as I wash my hands and dry them. Brian is just about done laughing when I go to check out the backyard. He comes up behind me and snakes his arm around my waist.

"Dude, move. My parents could see."

"Your mom is cooking dinner and your dad is asleep in his room. Chill, sweetheart."

He leans in to kiss me and I accept the offer.

"I can't wait to return that favor I owe you," he mumbles.

"You can tonight."

"I kinda want to right now..." I smirk.

"Well you can't."

"You wanna bet?"

"Actually, no," I say before kissing him once more and going to lay down in the hammock. I plug in my earbuds and play my music, closing my eyes. I feel the hammock dip from him trying to lay down next to me and I sigh.

"...What are you listening to?" I can't help but smile. He obviously has literally nothing to do.

"Music." He glares at me.

"I know that, but who?"

"Well if you must know, I'm listening to Paramore."

"Cool, cool."

"Are you really that bored right now?"

"Uh, yeah, I'd rather be f****** you or something."

"F*** this, come on," I say, getting up and taking his hand. I check to see what my mom is doing. She seems to be cutting something up and she's facing the other direction. We quietly go to my room and he sits me on the bed. He pulls my skirt and panties off and throws them on the floor.

I put my panties and skirt back on. Just as he's about to kiss me, my phone rings. I walk to the other side of my bed to pick it up. It's Luke.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tara."

"Oh hey."

"Who is that?" Brian mouths out to me. I hold my finger up to my lips as I direct my attention back to Luke.

"Say again?"

"I said let's hang out at the pool tomorrow." My eyes widen as I let out a gasp. Brian is taken by surprise and looks at me like I'm crazy.

"I totally forgot to tell you! We're not staying in the hotel anymore. We're staying in a villa not too far from there." Brian's expression darkens as he figures out who's on the phone. He strides towards me with a smirk on his face. He grabs my hips and attaches his lips to my neck. I try my best to ignore him.

"Aw, man, you did? Well, I mean, we could go to the movies or something." I can tell he heard because he bites at my skin, making me gasp again.

"You good, Tara?"

"Uhh, It's nothing. I thought I saw a spider. Anyways, yeah, just text me the details and stuff and I'll see if I can go," I say, shakily.

"See you, beautiful," he says before hanging up. Brian stops everything and looks at me furiously.

"What the f*** did he just call you?"

"Why does it matter to you?" He stays silent.

"You're so f****** childish it's laughable. He didn't do anything."

"But he's going to when you're watching the movie. He's obviously one of those guys."

"You know because you're one of them. A f***boy."

"Ye-- No."

"You basically just said you are."

"I didn't get time to process what you said before I was going to say my answer!"

"Whatever. I'm going and you can't stop me, sweetheart," I say before pushing him out of my way and leaving to go to the kitchen. He follows me as I sit on a stool at the island.

"Mom, can I go to the movies tomorrow?" He eyes me with frustration.

"With Brian?"

"No, with Luke." She thinks about it for a moment and then nods her head.

"But why isn't Brian going?"

"He wasn't invited." He rolls his eyes at me.

"What's up with you guys?"

"Nothing, Luke asked me if I wanted to go to the movies. He didn't say anything about Brian."

"Well it's okay with me if you go, just ask your father when he wakes up. And Thanksgiving dinner's almost ready, I'm just waiting for the turkey."

"Okay, thank you." I make a 'Ha b**** looks like I'm going' look at Brian and he looks salty as f***.

Later, my mom calls us all and we eat to our hearts' content. Thanksgiving is the best holiday just because of the food. My dad was fine with me going to the movies, but Brian still doesn't seem over this whole Luke thing, although he's still trying to be. For the rest of the day, we all just lay down on the couches and watch TV. After my parents went to sleep, Brian takes me by the hand and leads me to his room, locking the door.

This will be fun.
