Being FWB with a hot guy isn't that bad... Until someone catches feelings.

Tara is a beautiful, quirky 18 year old in high school just making it through like everyone else.

Brian is an incredibly hot 19 year old who, quite frankly is a player. But when he sets his eye on Tara, no one can deny  the budding romance between them, which eventually turns into an emotional rollercoaster for the both of them.

But hey, it happens... Right?

It Happens

I wake up in the middle of the night lacking the warmth of Brian sleeping next to me. I get up, putting on my robe and look around for him until I see him sitting in the kitchen. 


"Daddy, eat a cookie." The words are music to my ears from Matthew's tiny little body, which I didn't notice from where Brian is sitting. 


"Aw, thanks, little guy." I smile, marveling at how good he is with our son. It's been like that since day one, Brian has had such a strong connection with Matt and I love it. 


"What are you boys doing up so late?" They look at me and Brian smiles. 


"Matt couldn't sleep. We didn't wake you up, did we?" I sit next to Matt and shake my head, brushing my fingers through his soft, dark, curly hair. 


"Mommy, do you want a cookie?" He points to the plate of cookies on the table and I take one. 


"Not long, maybe 15 minutes." I eat my cookie and stand up.
