Eighth Chapter

Morning came and Phoebe get up early to prepare what Yulo needs, there’s a spare key of Yulo’s room placed under the table where the television is that’s why she’s able to entered his room and got him a polo and ironed it. After that she cooked for breakfast and wait for Yulo to come out of his room.

When he went out of his room Yulo is already wearing his office attire, Phoebe quickly went close to him and smiled sweetly.

“Good morning! Let’s eat.” She said merrily, then guided Yulo to the kitchen then they ate their breakfast together. After eating Yulo went back to his room while Phoebe wash the dishes. Exactly after what she’s doing Yulo came out of his room and walk straight to the front door without even looking at her, but before he could even open the door Phoebe called his name that made him stop.

“I’ll go with you.” She said smiling which made Yulo’s jaw dropped.

“And why is that?” He said almost losing his patience.

“To make sure that you’ll arrive there safe and sound. Don’t worry after I sent you there I’ll come back here to get my car then I’ll go home.” She didn’t wait for his response anymore instead she walked passed through him and went straight out of the building then rode his car. Yulo got no choice but to just let her come with him. In less than thirty minutes they are already at the basement parking lot of the Montana’s corporation.

“I’m here now so I guessed you should leave.” Yulo told her in his signature annoyed and irritated manner of speaking.

“Nah ah. Not so fast honey I’ll accompany you to your office.” She said then giggled when she saw how contorted Yulo’s face is. He just rolled his eyes to her and went inside the elevator. When they reached the floor of his office Layla saw them and she’s surprised to see them together, but Phoebe just smiled at her.

“Are they here already?” Yulo asked Layla. She shook her head as an answer.

“They are not yet here sir, but there’s someone waiting for you inside.” Layla said, Phoebe was wondering and confuse why Layla can’t look straight to her eyes while telling Yulo that someone is waiting for him. He started walking to his office door so Phoebe followed him.

“Will you please stop following me and go home already.” He said to her a bit irritated now, but Phoebe just laughed at him but her smile quickly vanished when she saw that the someone that’s waiting for Yulo is a girl. She was standing while watching the both of them with her raised eyebrow.

“Mygash I have been waiting for you here for almost an hour already.” She said in a very annoying way, then her gaze switch to Phoebe who’s standing behind Yulo. “Who is she?” The girl asked Yulo while staring daggers at her.

Phoebe rolled her eyes at her, does this girl thinks that she’ll be intimidated to her presence? Ah, you wish , Phoebe turned her gaze to Yulo,

“You did not told me that your cousin will be here.” Phoebe told him a smile once again plastered on her lips.

“Excuse me I’m not his cousin, in fact I’m his—”

“Stop.” Yulo said firmly which made the girl stopped from explaining. The girl’s brow raised even more for what Yulo did.

“What are you doing here Selene?” He asked later on while Phoebe is just watching them as they talked.

“Well I’m here because you did not called me anymore, I was afraid that you’ll ditch me.” Selene answered, it’s now Phoebe's turn to raised her brow for she’s confused to what the two are talking about. What does this Selene mean with Yulo ditching her? Does he has an obligation to her?

“Phoebe please leave us alone first.” Yulo said which made Phoebe blink she can’t believe that he’s telling her to leave for this bitchy girl. Even if she doesn’t want to go she got no choice so she turned her back at them and started walking to the still open door.

When she’s already out she saw Layla looking at her with worry in her eyes. She just ignored her and walk out of the building and rode a taxi to Yulo’s condo. Then she went straight to the basement parking of the building and got her car then drove straight to the flower shop.

She entered the shop and saw Mandy busy arranging the flowers.

“Mamsh! I thought you won’t come here?” he asked when he saw her. She was not able to answer him, instead she just walked straight to the chair behind the counter. She’s still bothered about what’s going on between Selene and Yulo.

Phoebe did not notice the time anymore because of so many thoughts running through her head. But she was dragged back to reality when a costumer went in, but instead of looking at the flowers which were displayed in one corner, the costumer headed to the counter where she was sitting, it was staring daggers at her. To her surprised it was the girl from Yulo's office named Selene.

“What can I do for you ma’am?” Phiey faked a smile.

“I want to talk to you.” Selene said straight to the point.

“About what?” she asked,

“About Yulo.” She knew it,

“What about him?” Phoebe

“You see miss I and Yulo are getting married by next next month so I don’t want you lingering near him.” Her jaw dropped to what this girl told her, Yulo is getting married? But the last time she knew he was not dating anyone.

“W-what? How come?” she was still stunned.

“We’re marrying each other for the sake of both our family business. It’s a fixed marriage but still I know he would learn to love me eventually, besides we got together well when we were in Japan that’s why I’m sure our marriage will succeed, so please leave him alone. I love him and we’re getting married so back off.” Selene explained then turned her back at her, leaving Phoebe’s heart shattered because of her revelations.

Yulo’s getting married? How come she doesn’t know? And did she heard her right? Selene is with Yulo when he took his vacation in Japan? Phoebe felt her heart twisted in pain, she knew she should ask Yulo first but who is she to questioned him? She’s just a mere girl chasing him over and over.
