"You can call it a proposition." Boy number 5 piped in.
"Or you can call it an offer of a lifetime." Boy number 4 chimed in, earning an eye roll from me.
"So exactly what are you saying?" I asked hesitantly.

A Town Called Friendship

I breathed in and out but air wouldn't enter my lungs. Starved for air, my heart raced at tremendous speeds, and my lungs shallowly rose and fell in time. I stood there for what felt like an eternity but was actually only five minutes. 


I heard Carl’s faint voice from my phone that was on the floor and Steph’s constant questions. 


I just stood there, too shocked to move or do anything the only thing I felt was Stephanie’s warm hands that wrapped around me as tears began to fill my eyes. 


“No no no, I can’t lose you Abby” I mumbled as I sobbed into my hands. I didn’t even know how the guys heard the commotion but the next thing I knew was that I was in the car on the way home with Matt making some calls to someone. I just sat there unmoved as tears prickled down my eyes.
