Stuck with You

That night Charli and I sat under the fort we made together and tuned on the television, it was snowing by this time "Wow it's going down out here" said Charli.

"Hey big guy

"What's Ariel? Sorry don't think I will be able to make it tonight"

"I was just about to say that, beside's you're here to spend time with you're friend,

and I don't wanna to rob you of that.

Maybe we can all go out together before you have to go home, that is if this snow ever lets up"

"Of course I'll let you know"

"Hey, are you still going out with Ariel tonight?" Asked Charli as he pushed his hair up in a bun.

I shook my head "Nah, the snow ruined it, she said that she didn't want to get between us hanging out together as well" I said.

Charli shrugged "I guess so, you seemed like you really like her. It's quite precious isn't it" he teased nudging my arm.

I shook my head "I mean she's nice and attractive but I would like to get to know her more before y'know? But enough about me what about you? Don't you have someone that you have eyes on?" I said cracking a smirk.

Charli shrugged "No not really, there was this guy but I doubt I'll ever have a chance with him because he's straight"

"Ouch, I guess that is a factor that you have to consider when having feelings for guys, who is this guy anyway if you don't mind me asking," I said.

"Oh well he is a friend of mind y-you don't know him though, he works or well he uses to work at my job for a while," said Charli.

"Is he handsome?" I asked

Charli began to smile and nod "Yeah he is extremely handsome, he has green eyes, dirty blond hair, tall, fit guy, prince charming himself you know?"

"So this guy sounds like he looks a lot like me " I chuckled.

"No! he doesn't matter of fact his name is um..." he hummed.

"You don't know his name? "

"No no I do, it's uh....um Bryan...yeah Bryan"

"What's this Bryan guys deal huh? You gonna talk to him or something?" I asked as Charli turned a deep red and covered his face.

"No, I haven't seen him in a long while. He doesn't work at my job anymore, last I heard he moved away" He explained.

"Aw wow such a shame then, well there are other guys out there, one that will love and care about you so don't give up," I said patting him on the back before scrolling through the Netflix movies "Shall we watch a zombie movie? I know how you like zombies or use to like zombies, I don't know if you still do".

"I do, there's this series that I wanted to watch, each episode is as long as a movie but I think that you will like it, I heard that it was really good, It has zombies in it, It's a Korean movie called Kingdom" He explained.

"Sounds dope"

It started to get later and later in the night, Charli and I were glued to the TV for hours, we didn't do any of the other plans that we came up with. I was having a lot of fun hanging out with Charli, I glanced at him, he was so invested that he didn't even notice that I was looking at him, I chuckled. He was acting like a child again, there he goes showing how young he is at heart again, it never gets old in my eyes. The blue and yellow light illuminates his face, his face looked surreal; he looked like he just came out of some fantasy world but then again the imperfections also let you know that he was real, I swear if he stood still he would be mistaken for some sort of wax sculpture or something. Charli turned his attention towards me catching me in a stare and smiled "What are you staring at me like that for?" He giggled.

"I was just staring and thinking about how unreal you look sometimes, that's all," I said.

Charli hummed then rested his head on my shoulder and pulled up the blanket a little bit "Man I am getting a bit sleepy now I think, I think imma go to bed in a little bit, It's damn near one o'clock in the morning now" Charli yawned.

"I mean we could just sleep here in the fort since we spent all that time making it " I suggested "It wouldn't make sense for me to just sleep in here by myself" I added.

Charli shrugged "Okay then If I end up falling asleep on you I am sorry" he laughed.

I chucked "it's fine, It wouldn't be the first time that you used me as a pillow".

"Hey, Benjamin? About that guy, I was telling you about?" Charli began.

"Yeah what about him," I said tossing a couple of jelly beans in my mouth as he looked up at me with those dark brown doe-like almond-shaped eyes.

"What if like, I saw him again and we hung out for a while and got to know each other, how do I let him know that I like him without him being weirded out; I don't want him to leave if he doesn't have the same feeling for me, I'd like to stay friends with him y'know?" he explained.

"I honestly don't know because in a way I can't relate to you, but if I were in your shoes I'd just tell him how I feel and be honest with him. If he's not into you like that and decides that he doesn't want to be friends with you then you can always find someone else y'know? I don't know if that makes sense and I am explaining it in the best way that I can for you" I said reaching my arm around him and patting his back.

"I guess you're right Benji...." said Charli with parted lips as if he were about to say something else but it got hung so he just shook his head and smiled "Thanks Benjamin I understand".

"No problem," I said.
